In most cases it is impossible to get doujins exclusive to Comiket or other events. If they are sold on online store, a lot of artists don't provide digital versions.

So then you have to find a proxy buyer (one who will agree to buy R18 works if you want those) and then pay their comission, domestic shipping fees, and the cost of shipping it to your country. If you order a lot, expect the cost to break the double digits.

Geb was releasing her work digitally until someone decided that giving people a convenient way to get her work. I'm not saying it was a smart move to pull, but she only has herself to blame if her new way of doing things blows up in her face.

HDN1's script and scenes are almost completely and utterly different, so it's its own experience. A lot of people prefer it, it's just that people who actually played it are a minority.

R;B2 gutted multiple scenes from mk2 (one of which was yuri-related) and removed Nisa+Gust for characters that have been spammed ever since Victory came out. Not to mention it not having mk2's battle system and how Shares worked that set it apart from feeling like a Victory/R;B1 mod like R;B2 did.

If you care about another opinion I would also recommend playing the first 2. RB3 is a straight improvement of Victory (Same story, same gameplay but added events and other stuff) but HDN1 is an entirely different game from RB1 and mk2 is different enough to be worth playing (I wouldn't recommend playing it back to back with RB2 though).

For someone new to the series I would recommend playing RB1, RB2, RB3, V2, Blanc, U and then if you want more/want to know how this franchise began HDN and Mk2.
