For everyone freaking out about Mimi. If anything this episode allowed us to dodge another bullet on the way to PapiCoco ending. Though they were partners we basically have confirmation that Mimi and Papika were nothing but friends since Mimi ended up making Coconas with Salt.

Honestly I think that's basically what Papika was about to say in the pipe before Cocona ran off. We're still well on track, just have to overcome a bit of Mimi Possession on Cocona's part.

Yayaka was a true friend to the end. Cocona saying she hates Yayaka kinda irked me, she did nothing wrong.

Cocoma's not angry solely because of what yayaka did. It was a heat of the moment thing. But definitions aside, they may be going trough mandatory drama right now but their feelings haven't changed. Cocona being jelly as fuck is what triggered the second coming of Mimi after all. I say yes it's totally reasonable to expect at least a mutual confession by words or actions. Let's do like a bycicle and bunny hop for the best.

I mean yeah things are bleak right now. But I don't think our chances have diminished any. Lets be fair: They've had a pretty stellar and clean run of it so far aside from the spat last episode. And even that was more cute than anything. When shit went down they still immediately relied on each other over all else. I think what we're seeing now is the final crisis, one that will be solved not only for the sake of but -because of- the love they share for one another.

And from a storywriting standpoint it makes sense. To have everything between them go off without a hitch is just boring writing. Having this drama occur will make the payoff when they do finally come together all the sweeter, and honestly I can think of a number of ways having this conflict sets them up for a tearful, heartfelt confession at the end of it all.

We'll see though.
