This reminds me, anyone remembers the fic where Elsa buys slave Anna?
It started with Kristoff paying the slaver for her and escorting her from her cell to the castle.
I liked it, it had none of the darker or angsty shit like Anna being raped by previous owners or something because she was freshly caught and still feisty, Elsa was awkward as hell and overall it was more of a comedy than a serious story.

Frozen's always so complicated for me.

I love the idea of Elsa being a lesbian, but I like her relationship with Anna being sisterly love rather than full on incest.

For me, I really liked how Tempest began (conqueror Elsa waltz in a country and demanded Anna as a present) but it turned into complete trash after 6 chapters or so. Yet I can't articulate how I wanted it to go.

Err, I'd use "pretentious" to describe it actually. The author reeks of a teenage kid who wanted to be deep and edgy yet could only come up with trite plot. Poorly explained emotional bonds as well. I kept being taken aback "wait, why are they becoming friends now?" "wait, how did she jump from being suspicious of him to trusting him with her life without any reason within less than 24 hours?" "wait, how come she fell for Elsa that fast?" And all those males-with-dark-past and oh-so-dangerous-and-shady.

At least it was an Elsanna story. Otherwise I don't see any difference in this and the other self-insert fics.

I always fucking hated it when the boss captured and brainwashed/controlled the hero's love interest in vidya and pitted them against each other. Can't say why, but I always responded to it with a mixture of disgust and incredulity, like, fucking really? No different here. Not like this story haven't been idiotic at times too. That scene in WP happened at the end of the story and while affected Elsa deeply, Elsa and Anna still relied on each other to keep moving foward. Also WP doesn't have the amount of reviews TQM has.

In TQM, we have now Evil!Elsa who among the first things she wants to do is to hurt/punish/torture Anna, and we're nowhere near the end, this is the problem here, despite all the shit it happened in previous chapters Elsa and Anna still stuck together and relied on each other, and now this isn't the case, Elsa apparently is gone forever and Anna will be brought to a world of living hell bc author said this last arc will be very dark compared to the dark things previous arc showed. The whole bond between them will be utterly destroyed by one of them.

And ppl already are expressing discomfort at this and won't stop reading anymore of this.
