Personally I just enjoy how it makes Lynch characters seem extremely real in spite of any weirdness, and makes me realize how much I fucking hate "real" drama where every single moment of every character's life is filled with poignancy and meaning which we can barely aspire to with actual effort.

I think after TPS3 I won't even be able to enjoy half of the shows I liked before this.
