I used to hate this prick and the golden crown scene was a favourite of mine, now every time I rewatch Season 1 his death feels like a mistake because you know it all goes to shit from there.

Guy was a great actor and actually made Daenerys storyline interesting to watch. It's like if you removed people like the Lannisters in those early seasons you lose that conflict, the Stark storylines would be boring as fuck to watch too.

From the moment this guy died Daenerys only had to contend with boring villain of the week eastern stereotypes and every time there's no tension it's just "YASSS QUEEN SLAY" as she btfo with her dragons or fire immunity, none of them got under your skin or were vaguely sympathetic or intriguing like this guy. I don't know it's not like his death wasnt justified, but still he reminds me of the missed potential of Daenerys storyline, it could have been so good. This is Fat Man's fault more than just Dabid.
