Maggy knew she was going to marry a king (not a prince who later would become king) and that this particular king would have tons of bastards. Again, it's good enough that we saw him referenced at all. I can barely follow what you're saying, but that sounds like an awfully tortured interpretation. Cersei asked if she would marry the prince, and she's told that she won't marry a prince, she'll marry the king. This implies that her husband will already sit the throne when she marries him, which is something Cersei has no ability to make happen on her own and that Maggy would have no reason to know without magic. The bit about the king having six-and-ten children also is a terrible prediction if she was guessing Cersei would marry Rhaegar or even Viserys.

She might have guessed that Cersei would one day marry a king because Tywin wanted to marry her to Rhaegar, but that was far from a sure thing (it didn't come true in that way) and seems like an oddly specific prediction if she's aiming for the vague, self-fufilling angle. Asserting that this king will be king at the time of their marriage and that he'll have tons of kids outside of wedlock are very specific things she would have no way of knowing and Cersei could not force to happen herself.

It seems as if they based their show versions of the two based on the outward perceptions of their book counterparts. It's as if they read the dynamic between the two, didn't fully comprehend it (one glaring error is their inability to understand that Renly was the aggressor and Stannis on the defensive) and declared "THIS is how it should have played out." The result being the shows version of the StannisxRenly feud.

I never expected Stannis to win but the way he was killed was one of the instances in the show where the curtain was opened and you can see the puppet strings being pulled. When I rewatch the Stannis scenes in season 5 all i can think of is the IRL machinations going on.
