As great as that episode was, I just know Moffat is gonna fuck it all up with the next one, like he always does. Dark Water and Heaven Sent were amazing. But both their concluding episodes were abyssmal.
Also the trailer for next week looks terrible. Somehow there's NuWho Cybermen as well for no reason, lots of explosions and sillyness...I just want them to continue where this last episode left off and resolve it. But knowing Moffat we'll skip two months into the future and see a completely different setting.

I didn't like it. I've never liked it. When you write a two-parter it's basically a feature film and it should flow like that but have a cliffhanger in the middle. Man, I just don't like timeskips in general, especially after a great cliffhanger.
But as for how RTD did it in the Master story back in series 3, I guess it worked for narrative reasons. But honestly, there was so, so much wrong with that final episode to begin with and the timeskip wasn't the worst.

Yet we've seen in the past Time Lords can choose whether or not to regenerate, and what appearance they have post-regeneration. So it's sensible to assume that assuming they're not planning a regenabortion, they'll regenerate to preserve the life of the child.

He's working with the Nurse and Surgeon, the former thanking Mr Razor for the assist in getting Bill to the operating theatre for conversion. The bonding was a scheme thought up so as to "soften the blow" when it come time for conversion. Bill being the Doctors friend is the icing on the cake.
