Briggs is one hundred percent. The Diane stuff was obvious after this episode. I don't know how people can be confused about it. Audrey rape is probably a solid 90% true, their kid turned out to be a real bastard but he is half evil dopplganger so it's undestandable, he never had a chance. Annie is pure speculation, but I think it will come out that her murdered her, and probably raped her as well.

Remember BOB feeds off human suffering, and the greatest suffering would come from hurting the people who love Cooper, who would think it was really Cooper doing it. Annie would have been priority one since real Coop loved her the most, closely followed by Diane, then Audrey.

It's a magical incantation and as such it is strictly a nonsense poem like Jabberwocky.

At times it seems to be spoken as if the speaker is pleading with fire to accompany him. Other times it seems to be entreating a partner to walk in fire with him. I believe the latter is an erroneous enunciation since the opening lines imply a solitary magician. But it comes up in the series and FWWM in ways that support many interpretations.
