I think season 3 is pretty decent so far, but that may be because I was just craving some Lynch weirdness in general. The problem is a bloated character roster with most of those in the original Twin peaks location feeling like pure pandering that will never amount to anything. Evil coop and the FBI sections are great, as well as the earlier sections with the glass box. Stroke patient coop is ok too, especially when the supernatural hints come in. Regarding no one taking him to a hospital I think it's supposed to be something influencing their minds rather than a rational explanation.

When the casino goons accused the casino manager of working with Dougie, they were right. Jade didn't drop Dougie at the casino by chance, she knew he had to be there. Dougie and the manager had a plan for Dougie to come in, and some technician working behind the scenes would ensure that he broke every machine that he played on. However, he was supposed to stop at $100K, which would be $50K for Dougie and $50K to be split between the manager and his inside man rigging the slots (Dougie gets the biggest cut since he was the one who was exposed). The manager had to pretend not to know Dougie, but was irritated that he didn't stop until $225K. Now he's going to be coming after Dougie for his cut.
