There are many strong arguments for it...
-Lemon tree in Braavos
-the weather where the "house with the red door" is located is NOTHING like the weather in braavos that Arya describes intensively.
-Viserys/Illyrio talks about the hired knives after them to justify them moving around, but the chapter about sending an assassin on Dany imply quite strongly that they never even send one hired knife against her.

These things by themselves (while quite convincing arguments) don't mean that much, by that I mean, it doesn't change her story/birth/etc.. that she was raised in braavos or somewhere else, right?

But they lead to the important question : Why are all those lies being told to Dany? If they told Dany that she was raised in Dorne, or in the reach, or in the riverlands, or ANYWHERE, she wouldn't really change anything or do anything differently.. So why lie about it? These lies ( and dany's reaction to it ) don't change anything about her time in Essos. They basically control her, so it's irrelevant.

So if they lie to her it has to be about the time when she gets to westeros. It's importnat that at this time, she thinks her history is being raised in braavos, etc..

So why is it important that Dany, upon her conquest, won't know her real history? It's hard to find an answer to that that does NOT imply some huge conspiracy, a birth swap, or something like that. Because there's no reason not to tell her the truth, unless the truth might hurt her campaign.

Jon let the Free Folk get into Westeros, and his actions split Castle Black into two ideologies. The point of his story was already that. In the show he also discovered that Valyrian steel kills White Walkers, surely Sam will spread the word in the Citadel.
It would be way more interesting to see POV Tormund or Davos in the North after Jon died. Just like Catelyn's effort to protect her daughters wasn't useless after she died because of POV Brienne and Jaime, Jon's efforts wouldn't be useless because he managed to convince many others.

I really dislike game of thrones. Sure the books are well written fluff, but the overall story is not good.

The show suffers because the books are just poorly thought out.

Outside of the medieval setting and the historical parallels, there really is nothing that interests me about it. There is no hero. Nobody to pull for. Nothing is engaging. Jon Snow you could say is the hero, but he has plot armor so thick that he is never truly challenged.
