New episode in 2.5 hours (10 est). Dee Made a Smut Film.
The jabroni who made the last thread wasn't more smarter to put sunny in the title, so let's make it this thread.
Expectations for the first "original" episode of the season?
I hope its good. The last two felt like the TFA of the show.
Very possible. He tends to be one of those people who's kind of shit at normal people things, but has savant qualities with things that would be useful if he was able to actually apply himself.
Last thread someone posted someone else's directtv info and deleted it 5 mins later. Keep your eyes peeled, because that kind anon might do that again when we get closer to the start time ;^)
This has nothing to do with IASIP and is just based on what i was just watching, but HOLY FUCKING SHIT is Adam Ruins Everything the most profoundly terrible show ive ever watched. A douchebag, unlikable faggot host spreading misinformation to millions? Absolute shit
Married With Children kept going and going until it was cancelled, it set Fox on fire and got alotta eyes on it, predating The Simpsons even.
They lost alotta traction in its final seasons (it got cancelled at 11), but they kept going at it.
Always Sunny is going through the same thing, even to the point of getting all those eyes on FX back in 2005.
Now it's just humor referencing themselves in the past, and they're on the 11th season as well.
Is it me or does this episode just not feel at all like a Sunny episode?
It just feels incredibly off, I don't like it at all. I say that as someone who has enjoyed the last few episodes / seasons too.
Why the fuck wasn't this the first episode of the season?
ALmost definitely. Probably multiple ones. I know there was one that used to come on Comedy Central all the time a few years ago. Started out with a night race with Sum 41 or Blink 182 music playing
>Where'd these guys come from?
kek, this whole sequence is gold.
>tfw you remember Man Hunters' f-bomb was censored
should've had your boots on tighter and your ankles wouldnt break
Solid 7-8/10. Why the fuck didn't they kick off the season with this one? Some great stuff
>Mac & Dee's time-traveling wardrobe
>"we're here for 2 days"
>the fuzz not putting up with the typical well-intentioned shenanigans
Off the top of my head, the last time they did the whole movie homage is when they cleaned up the streets.
I wish they started off with this one, but at least there's only 1 more rehash episode this season
charlie gettin laid made the episode, it was all building up to it...it could of ended after that scene and I would of been ok with it
Yeah, I thought the first episode was okay, had some great moments. And I think CharDee MacDennis deserved a revisit. The first episode is one of the best.
Didn't much care for the 2nd, but this one was knocked out of the park. It just sucks how it seems the show gets shorter and shorter.
first time watching man seeking woman what's the gag with this? are you supposed to be high, are these metaphors for girls, or do they finally show the actual girl at the end of the episode?
It's just really absurd humor that's sorta mediphoical about relationships. Like in one episode meet met his ex-gf's new boyfriend and it was Hitler.
The show is really hit or miss DESU.
that sucks. why cant jay get a good role and why isnt this better with eric andre. is andre trying to do slow comedy because it makes his type of stuff too easy to fail
if you don't know what i mean how can you say there is nothing wrong with it?
you know what i mean but you're trying to convince yourself i'm wrong and that sunny isn't terrible these days
I mean how is it being a themed episode a bad thing, Sunny has had themed episodes since forever. Also i really dont care what someone on 4chan says, im just trying to decipher your memecentric statement.
Convince me that this was a terrible episode. Themed episodes are not only uncommon for Sunny, they led to some great episodes.
And even further, you seem to be suggesting that the Gang (especially Mac, Dennis, and Charlie) don't REPEATEDLY base their schemes and activities on various movies they've seen.
But for you, Sunny stopped being good in Season 2, right kiddo? :^)
>last week Jay and his girlfriend of the week went to a sex shop because their sex life was lacking.
>They found a "chad" which is just a guy who sits in the corner and only gets up to fuck your girlfriend because you suck at it.
Im not even kidding
This episode wasn't bad if you never saw the south park episode asspen. However, people who have seen that episode (like me and my brother) found it to be a live action remake, therefore feeling like a rerun of something i alread say.
I ski a lot and theyre close enough to real that theyre pretty good. you always have one guy in your group that sucks and you just tell him to pizza and eventually leave him behind. skiing has a big goodfag vs newfag culture
>Convince me that this was a terrible episode. Themed episodes are not only uncommon for Sunny, they led to some great episodes.
laughed once - when charlie kept pulling beers from nowhere
i can tell when i'm supposed to laugh at dennis being so sociopathic but he's not subtle about it anymore and that's what made it funny.
>But for you, Sunny stopped being good in Season 2, right kiddo? :^)
actually, this is the first season i have not loved
I've seen the South Park episode, and thought this was much better done desu.
It's a parody of sorts of the ski/snowboard party movies, which the south park episode only touched on briefly. The "we're here for 2 days" gag is actually fucking hilarious. And then the dress of the gang and the hookers going all 80s/90s.
Except that he wasn't sociopathic at all in this episode. There was no flanderization AT ALL. Dennis did what he's always done since Season 1, complete delusions of grandeur.
It's fine if you don't like the episode, you're entitled to your shit opinion. But stop using buzzwords if you want to make a point.
woops looks like I fucked that one up
>the whore charlie bangs is the whore dennis wanted clean
"only when you're clean will you know my power"
that's not something a sociopath says?
the gang, mostly dennis actually, of earlier seasons was all about subtle facial expressions and slight word inflections, and throwaway lines. a good example of what made this show so funny is the browning out scene
this show is bretty good. Its supposed to exaggerate every aspect of dating.
ex gf starts dating again? that guy is literally Hitler.
mom won't stop interrogating you about your dating life? actual torture.
invited to a destination wedding when you're single? fucking hell
I find it hilarious. some skits are really well done
have comcast. go to comcast watch live tv.
>waiting for the DL but it not out yet
I've been one of the people defending this episode, but Falls out a Window was a really, really poor episode. Close to Frank's Brother bad.
This episode definitely made me excited again though, and I can't wait for DIddly Dee's smut flick next week.
I thought it was neat to set in the realization that DeVito's first appearance was literally 10 years ago, but it didn't do much for me.
This episode was alright, but I'm afraid most of the season will just be constant callbacks, or reminders of the running gags they've had heavily established since season 8, like Mac being gay and Dennis wanting to skin a living creature.
You know what was the funniest bit about of this scene? Both Mac and Dennis wanted off the bald guy's team, on account of him being a sexual deviant (makes you think if he came in that burrito).
But still, they want Charlie to win, or, more likely, Dennis to lose.
Mac and Dee*, shit.
What I liked about this episode is that it actually felt very old school sunny. The Gang broke up over a trivial matter (Dennis sided with Frank to bang trophy whores at the limo) and were trying to fuck each other over
