You gotta admit that was a pretty great trailer. Probably the best capeshit trailer ever.
I liked the color and effects.
But that fucking accent of that guy in the end is everything I hate about America. It's like the bottom tier of men. Harley Quinn also literally is a 12 year old cosplayer.
According to the leaked description it's a demon related to Enchantress
But I think it's Common's character with some shit around him. I was going frame by frame and it's some really weird green stuff.
God, I forgot all about those trailers.
That "They will meet you in the sun" speech, right when the music kicks up and Superman starts flying, it doesn't matter how much I hate that movie, that still gives me goosebumps
>that guy in the end is everything I hate about America
I know right? Whenever I hear that accen't I can't help but think of christianity, homophobia, racism, diesel-gobbing non-enviro-friendly cars, gun nuts and bigots in general. Literally everything that's wrong with America. Hopefully Bernie Sanders will fix that.
you know, people hate on everything. the problem seems to come from comparing their expectations to what they actually get. I'm sure even if Suicide Squad is great, there will be people who hate it just to be contrarian. And if it sucks, there will be just as many people who say they love it for the exact same reason.
Fuck look how much better that logo is compared to the original one
So much more personality and prettiness to it
the nolan batman movies definitely had the best capeshit trailers
it's pretty impressive that they managed to make this pile of shit actually look compelling
yeah i dunno... they are kinda no fun right? like, go ahead and wordfilter shit, send people back to reddit and /pol/ but what did memes ever do?
The editing of the trailer with the music was great, but look again at the scenes themselves and tell me it isn't going to suck shit through a straw. The humor looks so dry, it's as if the Thor: Dark World writer penned it himself.
Yeah i'm still not sure about this. Hearing and seeing a bit more of the Joker didn't reassure me.
The "Worst heroes ever" appearing in the trailer feels a little too ironic...showing all the explosions, badass moves and shootings is not really the best move cause you can see all that in any action movie.
There was maybe two humoristic lines in The Dark World, they're so quick that you just see them as part of a discussion instead of jokes. But Suicide Squad feels like they're gonna pause after every joke to see if we got it.
they seriously used bohemian rhapsody. Now I can't listen to it anymore. Ahahahaha, all of the lines are derivation of "moms gonna freak bro XXD!"
I can't even express my thoughts about this puberty fest. AHAHAHAHA
Why do you think you fucking retard. you think i can't use a site and pay the fuck out of it. you fuckin virgin
It's actually pretty cool to see a DC Comics movie embrace it's own silly comicbookness. Dark and brooding seriousness only has ever worked for Batman because Batman is more grounded in reality and is not so much of a stretch to make it more dark and gritty. This is really just having fun with it's own silliness and that's a good thing. DC is finally starting to realize why Marvel is so successful with their movies.
no ass, no tits
>see first half
>curse all of you fuckers because I thought this was going to be great
>see nothing but edgy quips
>second half starts
>shit literally goes ballistic
holy fuck, the second half was awesome as fuck. harley confirmed to be the most annoying character though
I hate baneposting but the first time I saw this I actually thought only CIA would be the center of attention. suddenly all those shitty memes started popping up and I couldn't stop laughing
>tfw brandon is shown
Baneposting is still the king, baby.
>AYO HOL UP! Let's make a movie about a bunch of sociopathic murderers, rapists and psychopaths and make them drop LE SO FANNY xD Reddit jokes and let them talk like a bunch of Facebook millenials who are going through their edgy years without the blood, violence and torture
That flick is going to be utter trash.
It looked bad and amateurish. The Room levels of bad and amateurish
Anyone saying this dreck looked good is a highly impressionable little iPhone generation brat.
>"OMG EXPLOSITONS SO CURAHHYZEE OMG OMG BEST MOVIE EVARRR xDDD!!!"
Yes, fun trailer. But trailers are always more enjoyable than the film because they're so short and have a soundtrack to them.
That said, it's just another stupid superhero movie.
>pirating capeshit movies
kek, I can understand pirating all kinds of movies but capeshit is meant to be watched on the big screen. why not just NOT watch it at all if you're too poor?
I hated the ending of this movie
>entire fucking time dr refuses to intervene even though he could save fucking everything
>suddenly decides to take a side at the end and stop Rorschach
>I refuse to intervene because things should play out on their own
>woah I like this guys plan of lying to everyone to create false peace, I think I'm gonna intervene now
All it did was show how much of a hypocrite he was
>tfw the comment section of Bohemian Rhapsody videos will now be filled with LEL SUICIDE SQUAD SENT ME HERE XD
Bohemian Rhapsody just makes me think of this guy
I will admit that Suicide Squad looks like it might be the most fun capeshit movie ever made.
>for a trailer with dialogue
Who's the dumbass that thought this was a good idea?
I was listening to the music more than I was paying attention to the mediocre movie shots.
I think we are all fed up of the MCU and their asepticized movies.
DC got a darker touch but, even if the form is different, I don't see bad guys in this trailer, the content is the same: heroes trying to save the world.
>>You gotta admit that was a pretty great trailer. Probably the best capeshit trailer ever.
>"haha the voices"
>"we the bad guys, thats what we do brah"
>chad McChaderson drinking beer
>best capeshit trailer
it's worse than BvS 2bh
Makes a 10/10 movie (minus the baby) out of a zombie movie
>worst director ever
fuck off back to reddit friendo
I honestly can't think of a worse big, mainstream director. He's not Ed Wood tier, but at least Michael Bay understands that his movies are garbage. Snyder is actually delusional.
HAHAHA ITS MORNING ALREADY AND YOU FAGGOTS ARE STILL IN TOTAL DAMAGE CONTROL!
HOW LONG UNTIL YOU EDGELORDS KILL YOURSELVES? CAUSE THiS MOVIE IS THE FIRST OF ITS KIND AND IT WILL BE GOAT!! HAHAHA
GET FUCKED SON
I thought it was a good trailer, yeah.
Not the best capeshit trailer ever, though.
This one, for example, is better, and that's just off the top of my head.
>dat Lacrimosa @1:50
>let me faithfully recreate the comic frame for frame without understanding the fact that it's the subversion of the medium that makes the book special
It's like adapting a play into a movie and just shooting a normal theatrical performance on a stage. Take advantage of the medium you're using.
>You will never rock out to Freddie Mercury songs with Cara
>Anon actually posts the GOAT
I like this guy.
>had two (2) great dads
>used to be a cool and humble guy
>turns into a balding smug cunt in BvS
>let's just say I put them in a hole and threw away a hole
Why the fuck do they do this? This is cliche and stupid as hell
absolute power corrupts absolutely

All better trailers. Not saying they're good movies, but they're good trailers.
I'm starting to think Captain Boomerang will be my favourite character.
Everything about it was terrible, it didn't understand the premise of the comic books at all. It was glorifying them with all the slow motion bullshit and "LOOK HOW COOL WE ARE" stuff. Where as the comic was a satirical look at comic book characters and how the world would still be fucked if you had them. The ending in the comic was apt for the source material because they genetically create a fucking psychic squid and explode it in the middle of new york. The comic was showing how stupid and obsessed we are with violence among other things and it was just turned into a generic comic book movie.
How is a "fucking psychic squid" that explodes less of a generic comic-book device than framing Manhattan for the destruction?
I thought it was a better ending than the book, eliminating the overcomplication of Adrian's scheme and allowing him to tie it up in a neat bow.
Don't get me wrong, I was a little disappointed by the film as a whole, but the change to the ending wasn't one of the issues I had with it. I don't believe it had issues understanding that the book was satire - it toed the line the same as the book did. My issues were more the casting and some of the editing.
I really loved the soundtrack, and how they incorporated the songs alluded to in the book into the film. I also liked the direction and the adapted screenplay.
I'd probably give it a 7/10 happily, maybe 8/10 at a push. And when I think "generic comic book movie" my head goes to the twelve MCU films before it goes to Watchmen, but that's just me.
Deadpool's red band trailer 2 a trailer genetically engineerd to appeal to imdbspawn /v/edditors with no sense of sophisication who laud meme dialog, which supports upvote groupthink mentality, and meme acting with a good movie pandering reddit tier meta capeshit "entertainment" sensibilities and a meme tv movie aesthetic. This is a flick at best and will rightfully ruin ryan reynolds career.
