This down syndrome looking fuck is what passes for great television drama nowadays.
Thanks Marvel and Netflix!
What the fuck is wrong with that mask holy shit I can't breathe
>plebs complaining that the suit actually looks functional, instead of being a red sexslave costume
I like the look of the costume, but I gotta ask...
If the goal is to make it so nobody realizes he's blind, why didn't he cut eyeholes in the costume he wore through the entire first season?
He should have kept the home-made costume instead of commissioning a tacticool one.
He looked like a night-time Zorro. Now he looks like Generic Superhero Man #37.
other shots had him looking better
>this show is great!
>it's a really dark and gritty!
should've known it was gonna be typical marvel capeshit
capeshit is literally the worse possible genre imaginable
why the fuck would you want to watch a basically invincible character fight? there's 0 tension at all
the whole concept for this superhero is dumb as fuck as well
Remember how the S1 potter costume had those really thick jaw pads? I think they're trying to keep his face from breaking. A broken nose would really ruin Daredevil's week. It definitely looks shit though.
>why the fuck would you want to watch a basically invincible character fight? there's 0 tension at all
did you even watch the show?
if the sole source of conflict in the show is "character fights people", there has to be a chance that it's not going to go his way, otherwise there's no tension
also the fact that he's willing to torture a guy and toss him off a building, but not kill him even if it means putting the life of an innocent bystander in danger is absolutely retarded, just let them kill people already. hitting people in the head with metal pipes kills them, stop trying to be pg 13
>there has to be a chance that it's not going to go his way, otherwise there's no tension
That happens several times in the show. The hero gets his ass kicked, and like every other story in the genre, he comes back to win in the end. But since you ultimately know the outcome, there really is no reason to watch, is there?
>just let them kill people already
It's a superhero story. It's part of the genre. You are either on board with it, or you don't bother watching in the first place. Besides, this is a topic they will tackle in S2 with the Punisher, who does kill people.
Because if it didn't have eye holes then people would say "it's probably a blind guy since there are no eye holes." Also, spoiler, they had eye holes in the comics.
This costume was one he throws together in the show before the "real" costume.
I liked him once he turned against Daredevil a bit.
Went from meme comedy relief to fairly agreeable.
Although it's bullshit how Daredevil can see.
>give a character a disability that makes him flawed and interesting
>establish this in the first episode
>then give him the superpower that he can negate the disability
>undo what was established
I think this pissed me off when Foggy asks something like if he can tell when someone is smiling or some shit, which it was established he "couldn't" in the first episode.
I wonder how far they will take the secretary story.
In the comics she becomes a crack addict and eventually becomes a porn star to afford her habit.
She even sells out DDs identity to pay for another fix.
She gets aids too.
>after Agent Carter gets blacked in S2.
Tell me this doesn't happen.
I haven't gotten around to watching Carter yet but she better not have any love interests at all as she is holding on to Steve.
>I haven't gotten around to watching Carter yet but she better not have any love interests at all as she is holding on to Steve.
Did you see Winter Solider? I thought it was mentioned she had a family.
She shows up in The Winter Soldier with kids, so obviously she got married.
Now we're just finding out it's to one Jason Wilkes, a scientist or whatever. Quote from the actor that portrays him:
>When they meet, each of them instantly sees something in the other. Peggy is rising through the ranks and as a woman working in the SSR trying to make a name for herself, and stand on her own, of her own accord, and Jason Wilkes is working as a scientist, one of the top scientists in his field, but he’s had to work hard to get there. So it’s the similar sort of struggle of an African-American and a woman in the 1940s trying to succeed. I think that they sort of both see that in one another.
Self-reliant white woman rising in male-dominated environment in the 50s marries a black scientist guy and has his children. How progressive.
I very rarely get hooked on a chick in a show, but she was so hot and did such a good job of acting like she was "in every guys league". That you couldn't help but imagine plowing her ass hard.
Yeah that first cloth outfit grew on me. Reminded me of Red Dragon's mask on the last season of Hannibal
Yeah, not watching S02.
Between Jessica Jones and this, fuck you Marvel for hamfisted "progressivism"
Nope'd the fuck out of Agent Shit anyway, the first season was garbage except for the last 2 episodes.
I was actually liking it quite a bit, thanks to a massive weak spot for mid-century themes. Plus Hayley Atwell was easily one of the hottest capeshit women to me before this.
So it is a disappointment. At least Daredevil is still somewhat looking up. And there's always that Iron Fist series if it ever happens.
I really fucking hate that costume.
The mask part is just outright retarded, it looks so dumb and goofy instead of intimidating. The outfit itself has a pretty cool design i guess, but it seems very impractical. The character himself when getting the costume made said "i need it to be very lightweight so i can move unrestricted", and yet they give him that? What the fuck? It looks so stiff and tight that it would be very restricting and uncomfortable so he wouldn't be able to flip around as much.
you're right. it's a shitty costume that doesn't make total sense even within the show's logic. he looks like a fucking pig. who looked at that mask and though, "yep, looks good"?!
>He should have kept the home-made costume instead of commissioning a tacticool one.
At least it made sense that he did. He was getting seriously fucked up and things were escalating.
I miss Bullseye. Say what you will about the quality of this movie but Bullseye was perfectly casted.
No, Colin Farrell just had fun with the role. He wasn't good in it
MCD on the other hand remains in my head the better personification of Kingpin in that movie and I would've preferred him over Gomer Pyle
So he's a superhero who can fight of hundreds of enemies with ease but he isn't even capable of making his own costume? Fucking stupid.
Bravo Netflix. Feed me more capeshit. More, More, MORE. I don't want to think at all when I watch tv. More mindless entertainment. Just inject it directly into my blood stream.
lol. Yeah so atrocious that it's one of the top rated shows out there. It would be different if it was rated closer to something like Man of Steel where you could say it's bad and actually have a valid reason to back that up.
So who will be main vilain of season 2?
I'm guessing Owlsley returns as The Owl, could get a purple man arc since he was a popular vilain in Jessica Jones (Not sure if he died in that since I didn't watch it). Will probably get some info on that mysterious chinese man Sticks reported to.
I just hope it's not Punisher the whole season, he's way too edgy for me.
JESUS FUCKING CHRIST
>DUDE FUCK RED LMAO
I'd really like to see more parkour and billy club use and swinging and daredeveling and a redder costume.
I mean he is DAREDEVIL THE MAN WITHOUT FEAR.
So show us NO FEAR.
But at the same time the series was pretty good and I'm looking forward to season 2.
