Will you fuckers watch Crazy Ex-Girlfriend now Rachel Bloom has won a Golden Globe AND a Critic' 'Choice Award?
I did watch it. Has some funny moments but a lot of the acting is stage-exaggerated and the plot ain't great. And it's filmed to look like an ABC Family show. Great aim character, though - reminds me of hateable Phil from Last Man on Earth.
Fuck, I meant "Critics' Choice Award"
Well, yeah, the idea is that it's a dark comedy about inappropriate subject matter. She's an antihero.
I've got you family
DUDE 6/10 YOUTUBE CELEBRITY JEWESS THINKING SHE'S A 10/10 WITH ANYTHING MORE THAN MEDIOCRE SINGING TALENT DANCING WITH BADLY PROPORTIONED CURVES WHO ISN'T FUNNY AT ALL IF YOU DON'T HAVE A VAGINA BECAUSE SHE ONLY MAKES VAH-JAY-JAY JOKES AND SONGS ABOUT HER BOOBIES SO EMPOWERING SO RANDUMXXXD SO FUNNY LMAO
>Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (The CW, You make the time… a.m./p.m.): Yes, we’re making the top pick a show that isn’t even on with an episode—new or otherwise—tonight. But Rachel Bloom won a Critics’ Choice Award last night (to go with her nice, shiny Golden Globe Award), so we’re going to endorse Crazy Ex-Girlfriend again. And again. And then again. You’re annoyed, we know. But we’re actually quite annoyed that you still refuse to watch good television. This is TV Club—it’s righteous annoyance on our part. Come on! Pretend it’s Fargo if you have to. Just consider this all a fear you need to face:
Actually it was when that Todd VanderFuck took over the TV section and people stopped giving a shit about actual pop culture analysis with any thought put into it and just cared about getting the first quote/response on an article (also switching to Disqus was another death knell). It was an internet oasis in the early to mid 2000s with genuine insight in both the articles and comments.
So what? He's a bad writer with no insight and he lead the shift from putting effort into original articles to shitting out weekly recaps that will get thousands of comments no matter what.
>>so we’re going to endorse Crazy Ex-Girlfriend again. And again. And then again.
FX is pretty bad, especially with Fargo. But they are everywhere. The internet is as we knew it is almost dead.
>a Golden Globe
>AND a Critic' 'Choice Award
There is literally lots of singing. It's a frickin' musical.
The songs are pretty good tho:
I know nothing about this show and have no interest in this thread. I have one simple question which I WILL monitor the thread for an answer if possible:
Does this relate to the whole viral reddit phenomena of that overly attached girlfriend or whatever the fuck it was called, with that cute chick who started making youtube videos? And if so, did some network rip her shtick off her from under her and made this lol?
No, it's not related, and Rachel Bloom has been doing a similar sort of thing for years.

She's thick, charming and the songs are great.
She's a bit fat, but she has huge boobs and hips, so she looks in proportion. You make it sound like she's a fucking landwhale, not someone that could do with losing 15lbs.
What's the context/joke of this image? Because begging to a guy, "please love me", while presenting him with your cleavage at the same time, kind of distracts from the 'me' aspect of the message. Or is that the joke of the image?
Think it's funny, especially when you combined with the general sense that Bloom has a desperate compulsive need for approval, which most funny people have but few women have, making it an extension of truth.
I think Bloom is great, a breath of fresh air.
She's too fat in the midsection. It's fine being thick, but there's no definition in the size of her waist vs. her hips. It's just one huge, thick trunk.
Think she's got a little bit of an inflated opinion about her body based on her giant boobs.
