they're not all shitty, m8, some are actually quite brilliant, for example Mulholland drive

some are probably brilliant in his brilliant mind

his music however... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=caWXt9lCVrc

>mullholland drive
>quite brillant
When will this meme end?
it's an incoherent experiment of character vignettes that is ultimately unsatisfying. And when talking about criticism of it, it's fans can only spout
>You just didn't GET IT. It's a non-linear progression! it's TOO DEEP for you!

it's not depth in itself that makes a thing good, it didn't make Mulholland Drive good

regardless, it wasn't what I'd describe deep in the TOO DEEP fashion or incoherent

but I did find it was effective at capturing my attention and imagination, creating and getting me engrossed in the moods, atmosphere and mystery it created, so I enjoyed the journey quite a lot - I find it inspired work

the diner scene is an all time favourite of mine, just great movie making

I'm forced to agree here. It's well-constructed nonsense towards the end.
That said, I did like Eraserhead.

Twin Peaks is lynchs magnum opus.

Transformers 2 also captured my attention.

Well said anon
