>yfw Netflix doing 13 episode series with Judge Dredd played by Karl Urban
Almost Human was good when it focused on the season wide arc, and when the camera was only on Urban and Ealy. It was awful when it dragged on with typical cop procedural shit, or when the awful actress that played their boss was onscreen.
That episode with that sexy ass MMA broad playing a fembot was great. If the show could have kept that level of consistency, it would be a classic and deserve another season.
Also lose the ugly comic relief guy from The Office, he ain't funny. In fact fire the whole writing staff and start from scratch.
>Dredd is one of the best Sci fi action movies of the last decade
Each to his own, but holy shit, that shit taste.
Hope it doesn't look like a shitty videogame as well, and that they also include that qt3.14 psychic
>Netflix will spend $5 billion on programming in 2016
>instead Judge Dredd series we will get 4 Adam Sandler movies
Wasn't particularly well advertised by the studio, rated R, "IN 3D!", and to be honest I think the main reason was the brand was still fairly tainted in peoples memories by the Stallone/Schneider version.
I seem to remember it being out at the same time as some big action releases, but can't be too sure.
I just want a Dreadd sequel with rookie Anderson, Urban and a heavy cyberpunk mood and setting.
Netflix is powerful, everywhere, has the money to back shows, and has few failures. They're THE new platform to have your shit picked up by. They've overtaken television, I wouldn't be surprised if there were netflix subscriptions in the current batch of 18-35 year olds than goddamn television; none of my friends in my cohort have a cable subscription, not a single one.
It goes further than that- most students and young adults these days who live on their own don't even have tv in the UK- that is to say, they don't have aerials attached to their television units, and don't pay the TV License.
>implying I was referring to you and not what's his fuck from RLM
>you in charge of reading comprehension
Actually yeah, I believe you're South American.
It wasn't just IN 3D, it was literally called DREDD 3D.
The only way they could have fucked that up more would be to call it DR3DD.
But I agree, marketing shit the bed hard on this one.
