Will the irishman ever get made bros?
A Triple H film starring Leo is amazing news, but why does it have to be directed by Scorsese? He doesn't have the chops to do it justice. Give this shit to Tarantino or Chan park wook or even Jon Favreau.
>Will the irishman ever get made bros?
When Scorsese is on his death bed or has just suffered a stroke/heart attack or something and KNOWS it will be his final film
Because the Irishman will literally just be a 'best of' film that mixes goodfellas, the departed, casino and mean streets
You've pretty much already seen it anon
>will the Irishman ever get made bros?
>it'll be his last film on his death bed, a 'best of' film that mixes goodfellas, the departed, casino, and mean streets
pls Scorcese, I don't actually care if it's a remix. I just want to see Pesci and DeNiro on screen together again.
>tfw no 'The Winter of Frankie Machine' movie ever
and I doubt anyone even knows what the Winter of Frankie Machine is
Where is my Macbeth?
Where is my Imperial Roman epic Marty's been promising me since he was eleven?
Where is my remake of The Prince of Foxes?
rumour has it that Brendan Fraser got cast as Mr McMahon
So let's get this straight
Scorsese made that documentary. Then he directed the two-hour pilot for vinyl which is yet to be released. Then he faffed around. Then he made that short with leo and deniro which is yet to be released outside film festivals and was funded to be used as an advertisement for a chinese hotel. The he filmed Silence with liam neeson which is in post-production.
Now he's gonna team up with leo again to make a film about a serial killer. Then he's making a mike tyson biopic with jamie foxx.
He's also making a ramones thing at some point and a frank sinatra biopic (which was gonna be made sooner with seth macfalane but then seth pissed him off)
And after all that, he'll make the Irishman unless he decides to make another load of projects first again
Does he have ADHD?
>Scorsese has only one Oscar, that he won decades after his prime
>DiCaprio never got one
>themes in their colaboratory movies are far from the taste of the academy
not even memeing here, but what the hell are you on about?
Except Stephen King is a pretentious and mediocre hack. There's literally nothing special, artistic or inventive in his work, unlike Marty's.
>pretentious and mediocre hack. There's literally nothing special, artistic or inventive in his work [puerile contrarian clause omitted]
Yes, you've understood the meaning of my post. I don't care if you agree.
I thought you were refering to the fact that they're both renewed artists in their respective fields who release a lot of material and have been working for a long time. I see now that you were trying to make some bait. 8/8, senpai, I bit it.
>not even memeing here, but what the hell are you on about?
That's what you're doing wrong. Some people here are so retarded they can't add anything useful to a conversation unless a meme is related to it in some kind o way.
>Forgetting his most pivotal work and literal tour de force
come on, faam...
