Cameron was unnecessary desu. Her traits could've been shared by Foreman and Chase.

Solid interesting character, great performance by Laurie, really good premise, but extremely formulaic and to a certain degree too far fetched/unrealistic even by tv standards.

One of the better modern adaptations of Sherlock.

Once you've seen one episode you've seen them all except for the one where house kills 13 with a bus.

This is great.

I like the characters and their stories, but yeah, it's really formulaic. It's funny, because i've just finished watching an episode of the series, and thought "in what board there could be somebody talking about this? obviously on /tv/, but... the series finished years ago, why would there be a thread about it?" and then i saw this thead hahaha.

Being formulaic didn't prevent the show from being amazing in the first three seasons.

And then no matter what they did the show kept getting worse.

Great first three seasons if you don't mind the 'patient of the week' formula with very little character development.

Show starts going to crap when House looks for a new team.

Starts really going to crap when Foreman and 13 start fucking

Goes to dogshit when they kill off Kutner

Gets a little more interesting when he starts hallucinating

House becomes the best to watch once he admits to needing help.

Goes back to complete shit after that, minus the Wilson arc.

Overall its a fun show, but after season 3 its got arcs and episodes that are just a chore to watch through.

I only slightly agree with you. it COULD have been the best point of the series if it wasn't 100% obvious from the start who was going to be in the new team.

Hell, half of the applicants were gone within th first episode and it was made ridiculously clear who was and was not going to be sticking around due to lack of lines/screentime

Forgiveable, but poorly executed. Kutner was literally the most stable character on the team. Hell, even when they went to his apartment he was essentially on loveable super geek who really enjoyed the job he was doing.Suicide was a dumbfuck idea for writing him off, and trying to add tension by making House obsess over murder made it even worse.
