I enjoyed it

It is not. Interesting concept poorly executed. Nonstop exposition conveys how smart it's supposed to be. Then there's a GI Joe Arctic Playset action bit for no reason.

You'd be better off watching the far superior Shutter Island.

Overrated but it's watchable.

Not really, but it's not bad. It's biggest flaw is its incessant beckoning for further exploration by the audience when in fact delving deeper makes you realize that there is no substance behind the film and it's filled with narrative transgressions, like any other Nolan film.

When it first came out I declared it my favorite movie of all time. Now, I recognize it has a lot of flaws but it's still a pretty great movie to watch and have fun

Yes. Take it as a blockbuster thriller, which is what it is and all it is- just an extremely well-made one. Nolan isn't deep but he's a good filmmaker, people keep thinking he's trying to be Terrence Malick or some shit when really he's closer to someone like Danny Boyle- makes movies for plebs, but they're very original, stylish movies. And that's okay. The Nolan fanbase is far worse than Nolan himself or his works.
