Lets make it happen guys.
>petition created by a br, from São Paulo
I should know, my country is so fucking culturally illiterated that most people here love the prequels.
The fuck do these people think is going to happen?
Disney gives George back it's 4 billion dollar investment and George starts making movies he doesn't want to make?
Bunch of gullible twats with no critical thinking. Typical SW fans.
>petition has been up for over a week
>only 8,489 signatures
>the goal is a measly 10,000
This won't get anywhere. Even if the petition got over a million signatures in a day there's no way Disney would put George Lucas at the helm since he fucked up so badly with the prequels.
>tfa wasn't shitty enough
>we need the next one to be prequel bad
>Now there is.
He's too egotistical to do that. When he was a young filmmaker he was forced to compromise to get his movies made. Now he's a rich old man that can do whatever he wants.
You do realize that George is pretty sad about SW, right? He thought he was going to be able to be involved in the new SW films to some degree, offer creative guidance and basically be involved more like he was with the OT instead of the PT. But Disney rejected that some time into production because George didn't just want to make a pointless rehash, he wanted to make something new, and Disney didn't like that so they hastily cobbled together the "new" episode 7 and went through dozens of scripts that were drastically different before settling on the final hour.
George cares. Not about the money though. He knows he fucked up, he knows that he lost SW, his "kids" and has resigned himself to that fact by describing it as a bad break up where he essentially cannot try to get involved again for his own mental sanity.
>Back as director
I've got a better idea. How about we get an actually good director with vision, and bring back George as the creative and story guy, which is, as far as I can tell, what he was actually good at. Also bring in some production designers with their own vision, because goddamn was TFA a visually derivative movie.
george intended Rey to be an annoying little brat like Anakin in Phantom Menace.
so fuck you, we dodged a bullet. who knows how much childish garbage we would have gotten with george. at least this was made for people over the age of 10
Signed. Colin Trevorrow is an ametuer and has no experience. we need a professional with a legacy. JJ was ok but colin sux. episode 9 will suck balls if colin directs it :(
You're the same nerdy permavirgin faggots who made and signed a petition to get rid of Ben Affleck when he was cast as Bruce Wayne huh?
KEK, enjoy wasting your time and thinking anyone gives half a shit what you fat wastes of oxygen think, you fucking losers.
He literally donated the 4 billion dollars he made selling Lucasfilms to inner city schools and has been backhanded in every post-sale interview hes done. He is as done as done can get.
I personally ain't defending no prequels.
Lucas was unsupervised unlike most of the classic trilogy. And who do you think directed TFA, he ain't directing ep9 some unexperienced hack is.
No. TFA is far greater than the prequels. It even supersedes the vision of Lucas's original trilogy with dazzling bravado. The vision is staggering, the performance are first rate, and brings back the glorydays of 70's new Hollywood for a brand new generation. And if anyone thinks I'm a shill I assure everyone in this thread that no one at 20th Century Fox paid me to post this.
You're deluded m8. You're thinking about this the wrong way. First /tv/ would look at the reactions the movie would get from the mainstream crowd. If they hated it, /tv/ would like it and if they liked it /tv/ would hate it. Do you even know what board you're on?
