It was a pretty freaky scene, mainly because it was so different to the rest of the movie up until then. By that point the main guy was beginning to lose his grip on reality and suspect there was something more sinister going on than just a Turing test. Nathan had turned into some sort of callous godlike figure by now as well, seemingly casually giving and taking life while living it up in his private sanctuary. The protagonist was about to raise some of his concerns about everything that was going on (including the fact that the girl had just casually offered herself up for sex like she was trained for it) and then Nathan just ignores him and starts dancing. It was weird as fuck and really cemented the fact that Nathan really didn't care about anyone else but himself.
