There's a couple rough visual effects shots, mostly concerning the dropship heading to the atmospheric processor, which is a shame considering it came out 3 years after return of the jedi.

great characters last forever, the computers and tech are kinda dodgy considering where we are now, but you can look past most of it considering it was an industrial setting.

Ran a marathon on them recently... Alien held up quite well, mostly because of the atmosphere. Aliens idk it's hard to gauge, because the "badass marine" thing has been so overdone but at least they're space marines. 3 is just sorta there to show you more Ripley development, because all the characters are disposable (literally, as prisoners). 4 is a slight improvement on 3, where you sorta wanna see it play out.

It's different from when I last watched them, but not much... I'd say the first and third held up better than the rest. The 4th used too much CGI to hold up well, and that was in like 97(?).
