No, but the movie did just fine without him as the lead. Finn and Rey are decent characters, and they have chemistry.

I'm actually happy with how they handled Poe. He does nothing but be a no-fucks-given badass every minute he's on screen.

Should have been him and Finn escaping together and developing a bromance while on a quest to find Lukes lightsaber bickering and fighting all the way. Kind of like a Hope and Crosby movie set in the Star Wars universe

The problem with Poe is that aside from lol torture and being the Best Pilot Ever he's kind of flat and doesn't seem to offer up anything interesting to go off of. All he really needs to do is be badass and do badass things while more important shit is going down. He's a support character through and through.

Wouldn't mind more scenes of him and Finn though. They didn't have nearly enough time together.

Hopefully in the next movie we'll get his backstory and he'll develop a bit. He got just enough screen time in TFA to establish his personality, but didn't get development like Finn, Rey, and Kylo.

The opening scene was great.

I liked the Finn+Poe duo and it would have been amazing if the movie had those 2 as the main duo
