Gotta agree with OP. That whole chemistry with him and mcnulty was awesome. I love that scene where they analyze the crime scene and the only dialog is each of them uttering
I live in Baltimore, and it's almost scary how realistic every aspect of the Wire was. The portrayal of crime, gangs, drugs, the homeless, cops, judges, lawyers, and the news were all spot on. I think it's the most realistic drama that's ever been made, honestly. Except season 5 maybe.

In my opinion, Stringer is by far the most interesting and best character. I'm surprised noone else said it yet, I thought he was more popular.
