That's what happens though. That's the ugly, unromantic side of being a gangster. Like in Breaking Bad, when Meth Damon shoots that kid on the dirtbike. Everybody looks at it like a moral event horizon, Jesse and Mike flip out, but honestly what else could they do ? There was no other answer, there's no way they could have taken that kind of risk.
