I went in expecting a cute little movie and performance, not some Oscars-tier acting and feels. And yet there I sat, holding back tears like a little bitch.
What did you think of it? And do you think the Sersh will win the Oscar?
At first it seems very much like the indie movie it is, but gradually grows, I was surprised that there was zero violence in this, I don't remember the last time I saw a film like this, extremely enjoyable.
i have not seen it yet
thanks for the spoilers pal
It's a very silly little movie that stays with you for about 5 minutes after they get a happy ending. Hits all the emotional cues like clockwork to the point of boredom. Good production design, I guess.
>because some old bitch knows my shit
What, you think the old biddy would've let her live happily ever after if she had chosen Hux? She left her village because she couldn't stand the prospect of being blackmailed by the prune for the rest of her life.
True, but it works if it's well executed. Spotlight was the sign do it before formula, same with most Oscar favs this year, but it doesn't matter because it always works when done right.
She was Hux standby when it didn't work out with the other girl. She had no suitors there, it was made especially obvious at the dance in the beginning of the movie and she's just standing there staring around.
We all know Sersh is a looker, but she wasn't suppose to be in the movie's world. Really, only one guy approached her...while 2 if you count the waiter at the diner, but he was looking for a one night stand
>movie about a white woman choosing between 2 white guys
As a brown adult, I have no interest at all in this movie.
And I most likely won't see it even after the Oscars.
That's all i had to say.
“In my dreams I kiss your cunt, your sweet wet cunt.
It could be for others, I recognize that, but I was expecting so much from Haynes, and so little from Brooklyn, damn, at the end, to me, Brooklyn is the much fulfilling experience.
>not knowing how colors work
You're both clearly white males who have never been discriminated against.
Your whiteness is seeping through your fingers from the keyboard and into your posts.
Stay in school kids.
