How did this crap run for five years while Farscape got four?
The only thing remotely interesting was all the mystery around Trance.
Wait a minute are you sure that's not Dark Matter?
Low budget, had a Canada tv station broadcast, with US first run syndication. While it was not as cheap as B5 (Which wins the record for cheap but in any way quality production) it was much cheaper then Farscape or Xena, and Much much much Cheaper then Star Trek.
>sorbo gets outshined by lucy lawless in fantasy and space (BSG)
If I recall correctly it was also on at a better time than Farscape.
Andromeda was during that nice early midday action block on Sundays. I don't even really remember when Farscape aired but I think it was more in the night.
>Andromeda started in 2000
Fuck... I could be completely wrong about everything I said up there then. My mind has it put right in the mid to late 90s.
>not shunning a social life and staying home for golden age of sci-fi Friday
After the first five or six episodes it finds its groove and gets super comfy. Season four starts off a little uncomfortable because of stupid network interference, but it gets better before the end.
i was referring to dark matter
seriously a lot of the things that seem cliche and stupid at first make more sense later, there are some decent twists. and the actors fill the roles pretty well, even the edgy katana guy doesnt overdo it.
>While it was not as cheap as B5
Fuck. Babylon 5 had characters, dialog and plot.
The only line I remember from Andromeda was Tyr talking about him, cockroaches and Dylan.
On the other hand, I remember myself rewinding dialog in Babylon 5 several times.
>god i fucking hate cast pose shoots like this
>ok everyone stand around and look SO COOL AND SMUG
Yeah, even Metal bands shots are a lot better than this, at least they're genuine.
>At that point of the show at least. Once Zhaan left, the show lost all focus
What? The plot went on.
And there was Scorpious.
I mean, Scorpious and Sikozu, sweet delicious Sikozu... what else did you need?
