It's in my top 5 right along The Sopranos and The Wire. Of course it's not as good as those and doesn't have the same depth, but I derived so much enjoyment from 24 that it's definitely one of my favourite TV shows.

I also thought "9 seasons? Are you fucking kidding me?" and then Iwatched season 1 over a weekend. It can get repetitive (usually the lowest points are around season 4 and then season 6), the trick is to quit and take a break after it starts getting dull.
