"I'm not going to stop the wheel. I'm going to break it."
The fuck does this even mean?
Constantly in Westeros there's backstabbing, plotting and fighting between the same few major families.
Rather than allowing it to continue, she's going to crush them so the only one on top is her
>But the book's not done.
>Nor is it likely to be finished tomorrow, or next week. Yes, there's a lot written. Hundreds of pages. Dozens of chapters. (Those 'no pages done' reports were insane, the usual garbage internet journalism that I have learned to despise). But there's also a lot still left to write. I am months away still... and that's if the writing goes well. (Sometimes it does. Sometimes it doesn't.) Chapters still to write, of course... but also rewriting. I always do a lot of rewriting, sometimes just polishing, sometimes pretty major restructures.
What did he mean by this? http://grrm.livejournal.com/465247.html
is it safe to say Jorah escaped the friendzone?
>she's going to stop the cycle of abusive kings and made Queens
>yet she is a bloodthirsty queen killing the original slave owners
She's going to become another spoke in the wheel and she doesn't even know it because she's fucking dumb.
The only way to break the wheel is for the wall to collapse and have the ice guys take over.
It's kind of silly. First she says "Lannister, Stark, Targaryen, Baratheon....first this one's on top, then that one....". But the Targaryens were on top for centuries. Before the Targaryens, nobody was on top, it was just the major houses ruling their own lands and fighting wars. She's not "breaking the wheel", she's just restoring the old order. If anything, she's fixing the wheel.
That's the point she's horribly naive and idealistic thinking she can be this super queen but reality is she's just doing the same things everyone else has done before, which a lot of people have pointed out.
Of course knowing DnD they might have written this line with the intent of it being taken at face value and meant to make her out to be this wise lovable person
