I dislike the plot of the episode itself (all of Mel/River's bullshit and the Tesselecta crew's bullshit) and the way it handles all the characters involved (nonsensically and flippantly considering the developments that occur), especially since I like the Ponds and Eleven and found River tolerable enough until her back story was revealed. I don't find most of it funny either (everything concerning River after regenerating is a complete comedic misfire, partially down to Alex Kingston's horrible timing and performance, but the script itself didn't help) and that seemed to be the majority aim of the episode while the major plot points were all half-assedly presented and dealt with. Incredibly disappointing and off putting episode for me.

It'll be bittersweet for me. I've only got a season and a half of Colin Baker, McCoy era, and the TV movie to go for TV stuff. I've started with Five and Nyssa's audios too, listened to Land of the Dead, Winter for the Adept and Mutant Phase. I'm enjoying it, but I just prefer a visual medium for the most part so having no more new episodes to watch is gonna make me a little sad. But yeah, it's far from being all over. I have plenty of audios, books, never saw Torchwood and SJA so I'll watch that when I rewatch NuWho, and new Capaldi episodes eventually. Feels pretty good.
