It's a private tracker that specializes in arthouse/obscure/independent films. Mostly. Some movies are pretty well known and get a pass because of the director.
It's a pretty cool place.
watch the rest of entry-level arthouse chart first
Karagarga is fairly lackluster as far as shorts are concerned so probably stay on vimeo.
I will think about it.
ITT: plebs get banned from KG
because i'm reporting every email address posted
Cienmageddon is closer to my taste overall, and I prefer the layout. KG has more variety with the comics and music parts though. CG has music and comcis too, but it seems like KG has more to me. I like them both anyway.
Crablegs 2: The Serving
Act 3: The Scarring
Genuine Sympathy for the Bad Guy
Pepe: The Prequel
Pepe 3: The Saddening
Up Ii the Air 2: The Plan
Quentin Tarantino Presents: Feet

I don't understand people like you. Are you sporting a huge grin right now thinking to yourself "Gee, I trolled him SO hard! Just look at how mad he is now, he responded to me!"?
How is this not pathetic?
I'm not going to try to impress, so here are my favorites. I love experimental and surreal films though, so this Karagarga does sound interesting.
Beyond the Black Rainbow (Cosmatos)
Jacob's Ladder (Lyne)

You're probably right, because I can usually find the films I'm looking for rather quickly. It was only through curiosity that I decided to post here and try it out. Good luck finding a compatible list here.
Helene Cattet, Bruno Forzani
Look up these directors, they all are fairly accessible and entry-level, you will probably like some of them.
>inviting someone from 4chan
Are you crazy? Wanna get your account banned? There's no point, if they want to get on that tracker they'll find where to get an invite, it's not that hard.
CG has a more dedicated community when it comes to those kinds of movies. You'll find better quality rips on CG rathen than KG. Both trackers share rips and are basically sister sites, though.
What kind of recs are you looking for, be vague rather than specific because I'm not good with this.
I said that I've been looking for one since forever in an arthouse themed thread and somebody was so blown away by my fabulous taste that I got invited.
i'm into stuff that's between exploitation/genre and art cinema currently and i'd bet you are too
if you had 1 or a few absolute favorites that fit the description rather than a broad list it would be cool and helpful because it's pretty easy with the internet to find lists of obscurities
>i'm into stuff that's between exploitation/genre and art cinema

I'm looking for a rare experimental samurai film...

Karagarga, Cinematik, Asian DVD Club and Cinemaggedon member master race reporting in. Pic related, my top ten. Anyone got SecretCinema or Surrealmoviez invites? Willing to trade.
Are there are lot of leechers there? People are too scared to leech on KG. It's an awesome tracker but a bit broken. I also hate their disgusting low quality AVI rips. Cinematik and ADC are my preferred trackers. Full DVDs and BluRays FTW.
If you don't have a seedbox it's quite hard to maintain a decent ratio. People only download what they want, not just to try out new stuff. Add to that the really specific content you have on there and you get very few leechers on any new torrent. Usually it's about 1 to 3 leechers max. Uploading new stuff is hard too because they already have everything art house. Result = very few leeches.
i have a pretty shitty speed and i keep a decent ratio on kg without a seedbox. it took a while, but the last freeleech helped a LOT and i just keep everything seeding 24/7
slow and steady wins the race
the small amount of leechers on each torrent is frustrating to build a ratio at first, but once you have enough then it means that you get a nice amount of upload when someone does download one of the things you're like the only person still seeding
Sátántangó (Béla Tarr, 1994)
Mulholland Dr. (David Lynch, 2001)
The Third Part of the Night (Andrzej Zulawski, 1971)

La part du hasard (Patrick Bokanowski, 1984)
Sombre (Philippe Grandrieux, 1998)
