I'm seriously considering just packing some shit and traveling

if you spend it all on gas,

900/4*30 = 6,750 miles round trip with 30 miles per gallon at $2 a gallon.

if you spend $ on food, lodging and entertainment, then you travel less miles.

I wish it was more rugged here in USA so taking a SUV or Truck was more practical doing a roadtrip around the states. I hate how a boring Honda civic is the single best option for this goal. I wanted to get car stickers from every state I visited ,but I think it would look lame on a civic compared to like a landrover
