Not sure but remember back then there was a time on /b/ when you couldn't get dubs because the server would skip anything that was dubs? So they came up with this thing called nubs or something? I think it's that. Also I remember we also had to use a script to unhide the last 3 numbers of posts cause they added CSS to hide the numbers cause dubs threads plagued 4chan for a while. or maybe that was before the pony threads.

I'm curious why the javascript book is that intimidatingly large.
javascript is not a difficult language to learn, only mentally impaired or lazy people could not develop a practical understanding of the language within 4-5 hours and that book looks to take at least a fucking month to read.
I hope the letters inside are at least as large as a quarter.

I use it mostly for bread and 4chan in general, I use opera for other things
>>9622758
Why not Chrome?
>>9622727
How did you install namesync and 4chan-x on it?
Did you use greasmonkey?
if so, check what version of 4chan-x you're using because you seem to be using some off brand variant of it that most people don't use judging by the ">>"
reason i say that is cause most versions of 4chan-x replace the ">>" with an element that lets you hide/expand posts...
>>9622832
So you're on the regular version, did you remove the post hiding option or something? Or was it that way for you all the time?
>>9622832
this is what the filtering sections of 4chan-x's options look like by default, if you didn't change anything there and it's showing up as it does in your picture than my only guess is you have something else causing javascript runtime errors that prevents certain 4chan-x functionality from working and it's probably what leads to that happening.
>>9622859
The menu post hiding option? its still enabled
I messed with a lot of options and I can't remember how it looked in the beginning
>>9622963
yeah, mine looked like this
Copying your options changed it, as you probably guessed
Replies are still below the name field in certain posts thanks to the checkmark though

When I was the first reply to this post my reply was under the name, but when someone else replied it went back to where its supposed to, while the new reply went under the name
It seems like the checkmark isn't expanding the postbox enough, or at all, forcing replies to wrap
>>9623096
The clover seems to expand the postbox when used, I've never had this issue since the checkmarks

>>9623229

Ok, one last thing. Are you sure this is happening with all the posts that have a checkmark, or are they exclusively posts that have rainbowdashes in them? Specifically rainbowkek who is using namesync and using unicode characters in his name that causes the quotes to appear under the file information headers in posts.

>>9623801
I know, but look when it happens, right after RKs post.
I was under the impression you were saying this was happening with all the posts that have a checkmark, but I have a feeling it's actually not and you're only seeing this happen with a select few posts which all happen to be RK posts and posts that have been linked to by RKs posts. He's using unicode that messes with the width of the element and sends things after it under the nameblock header. I suspect the checkmarks have nothing to do with it.

>>9623897
It seems to only happen to posts with little or no text, and short names, notice how in this one, the second reply would fit in the box normally, but the checkmark blocks it from doing so, so its forced to wrap

What does that do then?
How is he getting his ID to appear in namesyncs json object telling the client side script it's a post that queried the server?
Is it anything other than primal instinct telling you I'm wrong?
