ITT: Pokemon Are Real.
(This thread takes place in a new universe. Any past lore can be ignored.)
What do you think of steel types?
Last thread: >>10233080
That's it. This reboot was a retarded idea. We still have the same stupid, shitty godmodders who have a discord circlejerk to back them up and say that they can do whatever they want no matter how retarded it is. Fuck this, I'm out.
They're okay I guess but I'm always wary around them.
noodlescord update: still shittalking people
>>10250915
One of my fav types along Electric.
>>10250864
(Goddamn, I was fearing irreparable loss of hearing)
(Get well soon)
>>10250930
(Maybe explain how you feel in a different way and post your characters and people will take you seriously.)
(Skitts and Jiji are the most consistent players here, maybe... I dunno?? Make interesting characters, play more? Do something?)
>>10250915
Never had one, and there aren't many back in my old Region.
So, I can't come to a fair judgment on them yet.
Kanto should recognize them more, though, but that's Kanto for you.
>>10250915
They sleep too much
>>10250915
Steel types are big softies with plates if armor. Cute as heck.
>>10250930
(Are you talking about the Pory guy for the godmodder or the guy who ignored pory guy....?)
(Because honestly, Porys/Rotoms using cyber teleporting to instantly find and deal with any antag is both cheap and boring as hell.)
>>10250956
(Yeah, I'll probably be alright. Thanks anon.)
Steel and Electric? Nice taste, which Pokemon?
>>10251002
Couldn't have got out of that place quicker.
>>10251030
Hell yeah, even the fully inorganic ones.
>>10251205
Just the best in both world, Magnemite.
Though Togedemaru are cute as fuck.
Oh yeah, went to your place earlier today but there was no one, sorry mate.
>Arrived to the motel in Virbank
>Seems decent enough
>roll to summon the robotmen
>>10250915
They're pretty cool.
Anyways, my boss said I can have the next two weeks off for vacation, any suggestions where Rider and I go?
>>10251335
I work nights at the 5th Street Bar, I think I slept through your knock.
Soooorry.
I'm guessing you found a hotel already, but if not the couch is still open and I'm actually awake.
>>10251413
Orre.
...
...
Just kidding, try Kalos.
>>10251413
Hell
Far off road in Kalos
It's ironically really nice
>>10251361
Okay
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bLY1lYb1Pps
>>10251413
Ferrum is pretty nice this period of the year.
>>10251441
Went for the backup option yeah.
Beats sleeping in a subway all the way to Anville.
>>10251335
I agree. I'm getting a job at the local PokeMart here in town, that'll at least keep the roof above my head and ramen in the pantry.
Gotta agree about Togedameru - I've got two Electric-types napping in the motel room right now, ahaha.
>>10251441
>>10251466
Kalos, huh?
>>10251514
I've literally never heard of that region.
>>10251514
... you slept on the subway?
That's a good way to get mugged or squished during a Pokemon battle.
>>10251673
Yes, Kalos.
Or, even better: Johto.
Beautiful country, culture is kinda.... yeah.
Visit for two weeks, see the sights, and then never set foot there again.
>>10251597
Hell, new region, new life, lets try for something bigger. I've got a few leads already.
Two Electric types sounds like a recipe for permanently smelling of ozone. Worth it IMHO.
>>10251673
South of Unova, east of Orre. Not a shithole like the latter and not actually big like the former, much to my former Neos City neighbors chagrin.
>>10251758
A fucking miracle I say, maybe I looked like enough of a hobo to not get bothered.
>click click
>After much talking about payments, motel room acquired
>All while glued to the dex's screen.
>>10250915
Gorilla Warfare
Also this >>10250930
Should've ended on a "good" note
>>10252049
(What would be a good note anon?)
(I was thinking of a thread just to close all the plots in oldPAR)
>>10252068
(It should of also been the same thread where everyone gives conclusions to their chars. But instead we got a bitchfit and people leaving while throwing said bitchfit.)
>>10252108
(Yeah, that too.)
(No worse story than one without an ending)
>>10250864
So I can make sure you can't escape from me!
>>10252141
But... I live here?
Where would I escape to...?
>>10252049
>>10252068
>>10252108
>>10252127
(Really what NuPAR is missing is that spark. The spark of adventure. I kinda wish everyone had rolled new characters instead of everyone bringing their old ones back.)
>>10251809
Yeah. A Luxray, and according to my 'Dex, an Alolan Raichu. I'm surprised they get along so well, to be honest.
>>10252184
( Early first few days don't get Hella Actiony, tee bee haitch. It'll pick up, I'm sure, just give people time to get their characters off the ground. )
>>10252184
(Less of a char problem and more of a plot and general tone problem imho)
(OldPAR had Farsail making a really chaotic and fun first month and setting important background lore for the rest of it, NewPAR doesn't have an equivalent)
(Either way, I agree)
>>10252221
(Farsail was a disaster)
>>10252184
>(In my defense I didn't use SF much. Also I'm stealth posting as a few new chars. So yeah.)
>>10252221
>(This.)
>>10252229
>(It was mostly. The lewd.)
>>10252170
Shut up! The weak always find a way to wiggle out when a stronger force forces them to confront their fate!
>>10252209
Cat and mouse, hah
Real lucky you got an Alolan variant, at that.
BTW, was it you who posted me a recommendation for a motel last night?
(I have high hopes for GLACIER and Mechanon, desu)
>>10252229
(It was just the at times excessive lewd, L U C Y and most of everything past the Hoopaning)
>>10252261
he's champion, and you're not, so who's the real weakling?
>>10252229
(No it wasn't, it only had a few small bad parts like Lucy and the constant lewd that radiated from anything Emrys did, but as a whole Farsail was pretty fun and good
the real problem with new/par/ and late old/par/ is the people who spend sometimes 12+ hours a day roleplaying and retreading the exact same characters in 100 different ways and it also doesn't help that most of them have obvious mental issues such as Emrys showing signs of potentially being bipolar at times)
>>10252313
Yeah, I think I was. Virbank, right?
I'm up to meet up for coffee tomorrow, get the team some fresh air, if you're up for it.
>>10252373
this x100
>>10252373
(Bipolar? Huh, I hadn't considered that, I figured I was just depressed and a sperg.)
>>10252184
(I'm mostly going to be rolling new characters, the four old ones were either unfinished or going to be taken in a new direction.)
>>10252373
(The problem with /par/ as a whole has always seemed to me that people will talk on and on about the stuff they want to happen but won't take any initiative to make it happen, instead waiting for other people to do it.)
>>10252261
But... I really don't think you're stronger than me?
>People want cool stuff to happen
>No one actually takes the initative to do it.
(Let me just say I've had like 16 characters in plots because people either asked me to go in their wake or I was dragged in. Look at that number and think about the shit you've missed out on.)
(Please be more proactive.)
>>10252435
>(That and the lack of communication on all sides. Also the thing you mentioned. Most of the time was they either needed a GM or GM approval. Basically the ladder.)
>>10252184
(I'm only bringing back one of my old chars. Rest are gonna be fresh rolls. At most I'll have a small cameo for a couple of the ones people seemed to like)
>>10252328
Shut up! I would've been champion! I'm the strongest! Everyone else just cheated!
>>10252435
Impossible.
>>10252492
How did they cheat, and do you have proof?
>>10251758
I've heard bad stuff about the Kalosians too so... hmm... I think I'll see Johto!
>>10251809
That doesn't tell me much, but whatever, I'm checking out Johto anyways.
>Delivery Gal buys a plane ticket to Johto and reserves a hotel in Goldenrod city
>And then they're off!
>>10252373
>>10252472
(I'm trying to bring something new in but I don't know if it'll end up getting picked up.)
(I guess, if no one decides to grab him in like... A week? I'll drop him somehow.)
All work and no play makes Anon a dull boy, what's on your mind tonight, PAR?
I've been refining my blueprints!
>>10252373
(I never got any manic vibes from Emrys)
>>10252472
(My problem is I'm a fairly new and weak roleplayer so my characters end up being passive)
>>10252482
(another large problem was people completely and utterly disregarding the opinions and ideas of people who were not involved in a plot or didn't interact much certain characters)
(for example I rarely ever RPed much at all near the mid-end of old /par/ and one time when I voiced dislike over something Skitters told me "you don't RP much anymore, your opinion doesn't matter" and at that moment he forever lost any respect I could have had for them and he will never get that back)
>>10252398
Virbank, yep.
I'm in, the team also needs to meet new pokemon.
...and think of names for them, woosp.
>>10252540
Offer still open if you need a hand, especially in the computing areas.
(Please don't drop)
>>10252538
good luck not getting raped in clothes like that
>>10252472
(My favorite character is purely reactive, and I love them for it. Turns out if your are weird like me, putting a bunch of "limits" on the ways your characters can do makes for a fun challenge. So yea, passiveness has its place on PAR.)
>>10252538
Just don't get too close to Kanto. Look at them, they barely even acknowledge Steel types!
Have fun in your trip!
>>10252633
(That was kinda excessive OOCing desu)
(Forever is too strong of a word and holding grudges is not going to help anyone)
>>10252644
I'll be sure to give you a call once I've hit the AI portion of the project.
(Mostly only going to drop him for the sake of not having a character that no one wants around begging for a job.)
>Rolling to get some applications out and get donations.
>>10252482
(I feel like there's a bit of a misunderstanding on the GMs... Go ahead and do your plots, the GMs aren't really going to step in unless it's world ending, super canon altering, doesn't fit the setting, or a crossover. And even then we'll try to talk to you and help make it work if we can.)
>>10252540
>>10252758
(Aether's adminship doesn't have a roleplayer and N's Plasma isn't really a place you apply to for a job anymore, but uh... Maybe I'll have Hilbert try to pick him up? Idk. It's an interesting plot and I'm interested to see how it goes.)
>>10252596
(Could always have your characters hang around one of the more active characters?)
>>10252633
(Not sure what to say to this other than that we've been getting/are a lot better in that regard than when you left and that yes, that was a shitty as fuck thing for me to say.)
>>10252492
Didn't Gold beat you? If he did then it wouldn't really be impossible for someone to be stronger than you, would it?
I could battle you really quick if you really wanna test it though!
>>10252633
(I'll agree that we've been too quick to write off anyone that complains as shitposting, and that does need to get worked on.)
>>10252702
(I try to put limits on my characters by giving them clear personality flaws that either seriously effect their judgment or locking them out of certain courses of action. Sometimes I feel like that doesn't get communicated by my posting style tho.)
>>10252512
I trained every day! As hard as I could! I've spent my life working to be strong! Stronger than anyone! I've done everything possible, and I still lost! How else could you explain it? The only way anyone could possibly beat me is by cheating!
>>10252540
Fighting!
>>10252770
Fine then! You'll never beat me! I've only gotten stronger since I fought Gold!
(You wanna do it in thread on Showdown?)
>people starting interesting plots
>we literally just dont have enough players and steam to actually get the plots going
(Seriously if people besides Jiji and Skitters picked up higher tier characters we wouldn't have shit like the mech guy threatening to drop his character in a week and other shit.)
(fuck you lazy shits, i should make an antag that rounds all the plotstarters up and shows you what happens when youre lazy)
>SF goes to bed.
Night. /par/
>>10252788
Simple, your pokemon weren't trained in the right way, you didn't EV train them right.
>>10252795
(I tried that anon, barred major plot people from doing things and... that ended the last version of PAR. Don't be another Azelf)
>>10252795
You mean like that thing that killed the entire thread?
>>10252795
(Alright then mr. antag,I'll humor you, if you could have mr lazy annon pick up one plot hook, what would it be?
>>10252821
>>10252820
(I interpreted that as a call for the lazy posters to be more like the driving forces, not for the driving forces to stop? Am I being dumb?)
>>10252820
>>10252821
(Nah, it's gonna be fun.)
>>10252823
(I have no fucking clue what you're trying to say to me.)
>>10252833
(I'm not calling comfy people lazy but comfy people can do SOMETHING.)
>>10252758
Did you say "AI"?
Sharing is caring, anon, spoil me with the deets~
>>10252833
Okay
1: There's a difference between being lazy and having no motivation
2: Switch out that not for an and and you have it
3: Not really
>>10252839
It most certainly will not be
And yes you sort of are
>>10252839
(Anon this is how PAR died the last time, stop)
>>10252839
(I'll try to speak more plainly then)
(I lazy)
(U call out lazy)
(I sad)
(I ask u what you want me do)
>>10252788
(I don't have the Showdown team set up at the moment, just uh... Gimme a sec. Go ahead and send the challenge if you want, username is still PARSkitters)
Alright! Just uh...
Gimme a sec!
>Sun runs off to his bedroom, searching the room for his Pokeballs
>>10252839
(Hey, last PAR died because of a plot meant to forcibly involve everyone in a world ending threat. If you really wanna do an "involve everyone" plot do you think you could maybe DM me? I don't wanna see PAR die again before we get to explore the newly rebooted characters and plots)
>>10252795
>>10252820
>>10252821
>>10252823
>>10252833
>>10252839
>>10252879
>>10252882
>>10252892
(I'm only going to say this once.)
(No one's at fault here, not comfyposters, not actionposters.)
(We need to work together and actually talk to each other instead of trying to stab each other's dicks off with increasingly silly plots.)
(PAR JUST rebooted. We can't hop up to global antags on the first day. Play some smaller ones, let the lore and stuff build back up.)
(Have fun, this is an RP not a warzone. Forcing people into plots isn't fun, no one wants to deal with being forced into a plot. People get angry when they get forced into stuff when they just want to chillpost.)
(I could have written this more eloquently but I'm in the middle of filing a report.)
>>10252820
I'm not stupid! I know how to train a pokemon!
>>10252924
(okay, gotcha. Just wanted to avoid the UGGH PEOPLE POSTING BATTLES IN THREAD shitposts before they get going again)
Do your worst!
>>10252758
I'll be waiting.
If those AIs are based on Porygon AI, I can be of real help.
>>10252806
Nighty.
>>10252795
>>10252839
(Literally how oldPAR died)
(PAR is inclusive of both comfy and action, and many players chars for comfy and action)
(Please don't force plots on those that don't want to participate)
>>10252770
(That works?)
>>10252874
I don't know what you're exactly expecting. I'm going to base it off a modified version of the Porygon code but I still need funding for the actual body.
>>10252959
Well, well. I'll definitely be in touch then.
Help
>>10253020
>Helps
>>10253035
>How can you help when you don't know what you're helping?
>Ask questions first, shoot later, anon!
>>10253020
>roll for helpitude
>>10253020
Uh...
With what?
Deets, anon.
>>10252983
Well... What's the body going to look like? What's it going to do?
I can maaaaaybe help you out, pull some strings with Aether...
But I need to know what I'm getting into.
As kinky as it sounds, I don't want to accidentally release hentai robots onto the world.
>>10252795
(I would totally pick up a canon character if I thought I could play them well. Last one I tried had people in discord groaning about it so I gave up on it quickly)
>>10252935
(Is your friend alright?)
>>10253094
My trainer put me with a bunch of other pokemon.
There are some other humans with cameras and everyone is looking creepy.
They just drowned a skitty in the pool the wailord is in, he went under and hasn't come up yet.
>>10252935
(Sorry as well, picked a bad time to correct people back then)
(Hopefully Bat ever recovers from his issues)
>>10252953
(Roleplaying the battle could be interesting, maybe some of their future less serious fights could be rp'd. Assuming they aren't using their full teams though, that'd get kinda long.)
Okay Silver!
I know losing sucks so... I'll even give you a nice hug afterwards!
>Out goes his first Pokemon
>http://play.pokemonshowdown.com/battle-gen7customgame-599259180
>if anyone wants to watch
>>10252935
>(Filing a report)
>(good at deciphering codes)
(Annie, are you an irl detective?)
(Anyway, nicely worded. Not gonna pry about Bat's condition, but I hope they're doing alright. Hope you have a good night too, dude.)
>>10252983
Maybe get a small proof of concept going, then pitch it to the larger corps.
>>10253128
What the actual fuck.
Run the fuck away, forget your trainer.
>>10253217
(Holy shit I'm awful. This is one of those High INT character 0 INT player situations. Also yeah, short battles can get RP'd and I kidna prefer it that way, [mostly because it gives me time to double check everything] but long ones would kinda end up being a mess)
>Silver doesn't say anything
>He just got his shit kicked in
>Again
>Badly
>At least you know how he got beat by Gold so many times now
>>10253128
Do you know where you are? Region, city, building, the more exact you are the better.
>>10253244
I have nowhere to go though, and my Trainer could just remote recall me. I think he has my pokeball still.
>>10253281
Hoenn!
>>10253115
(The safest bets for canon characters to pick up are the protagonists, since they're essentially blank slates when it comes to personality and background. Unless you're going for the Adventures version, anyway.)
(I would say to just ignore them unless they're offering constructive criticism or to use their complaints to fix and better the character, but I know that the constant complaints ruin the fun so... Just do what you find fun anon, that's what this RP is for. )
>>10253279
(You're not that bad man. Mistakes were made, sure, but it's not stuff that was like... Cringe worthy bad. You're better than you give yourself credit for, just practice at it if you want to get better.)
"Do you... Um... Want that hug?"
>Sun shuffles forward a bit, slowly and awkwardly opening his arms for the hug he promised.
>>10253300
Well, that's the region I'm in myself, so that's good. Where in Hoenn are you? ...If you're not sure, try to describe some scenery or the weather. For instance, if you say that it's raining ash, or that you're inside a city in a volcano, I'll know exactly what city to search in.
>>10253128
>>10253300
Quelle gueule? Looks like >>10253344 is already on it, otherwise I would offer my help.
What species are you?
>>10253333
>quadsfail attempt to hug
>jfc
>Silver lurches at Sun, hunched over and sulking, and opens his mouth to yell, unknowingly walking straight into the path of his opening arms
>as Sun opens his arms for the hug, they swing too high and too wide, hitting the older boy in the Adam's apple
>he doubles over gasping and sputtering something that sounds like vacuum
>>10253333
>>10253385
>Meanwhile, while the Alolan champion and the Johto champion's rival completely fail a basic hug
>Spinda wakes up in a pillow pile, poorly bandaged, and in quite a bit of pain from broken bones.
>At this point she's probably permanently crippled, if she wasn't already from the fall.
>Eh, it's not like Spinda were good battle Pokemon anyways.
>Spinda gets up, or at least attempts to get up. Rolling for if her absolute lack of anything resembling balance causes her to be unable to stand and/or walk.
>>10253344
I don't know, my trainer put me in my ball after my last battle and only let me out when I got here!
Some of the pokemon are giving me scary looks, and the two humans with cameras are talking about me, I'm scared!
>>10253376
Marshtomp!
>>10253405
>It turns out that lack of balance does not mix well with a broken leg.
>Sad, disappointed Spinda sounds. At least she's still on the pillow pile.
>>10253413
...Fuck. Hoenn's a big island, I'm not sure where to look. ...Do you know anything at all about what the weather is? Can you hear rain, perhaps? That might narrow a few things down.
>>10253376
...Honestly, I'm just a single bird, I'd appreciate the help.
(I briefly weighed the idea of picking up Ruby but bleh, not for this. Perhaps later.)
>>10253440
I'm not in a city, it looks like there's a route outside the fence, the guys with cameras are coming closer, please hurry!
>>10253385
>Panic sets in quickly for Sun - the moment Silver doubles over he's already stumbling over an apology at mach speed. He stands there fairly awkwardly, reaching out to pat his back only to quickly withdraw his hand halfway there
>>10253405
>>10253416
>Cheer up, Spinda! Sun thought ahead enough to leave you a bottle of soda!
>It's avocado soda, but it's better than being thirsty... Probably.
>>10253486
>Panic
>Unnamed Swellow: quickly fly to the first route you can think of with a fence
>Off to Mauville/Verdanturf Route 117, the one with the daycare and the flowers, at Aerial Ace speeds
>This is almost certainly not where the Marshtomp actually is
>>10253520
>Aerial Ace speeds have been confirmed to be so fast that pictures do not survive this velocity
>Do we still drink for these in newpar?
>>10253520
>Shockingly, that's exactly where the Marshtomp is
>You can even see the large pool with the wailord, and in the corner, a few men with cameras are watching a marshtomp, who is also being approached by a tangrowth
>>10253440
I'm in Sinnoh right now.
I doubt I'll get there in time to help you, but I'll see what I can do.
Do you have any idea where he is?
>>10253538
(I haven't been keeping track of the numbers, but sure. Starting tomorrow I'll drink a shot for every image fail and reply chain fail. We'll see how long it takes me to get drunk, others are free to join in.)
>>10253561
>Very fast birb going at very fast speed: don't stop
>Dive-bomb the Tangrowth with Aerial Ace, then fly up again.
>Victorious tweeting:
"THE AIR CAVALRY HAS ARRIVED!"
>>10253578
>The birb hears a beep on the Pokedex he's strapped on his back, but he's not exactly in a position to answer at the moment.
>>10253508
>Spinda blinks as she picks up the bottle of avocado soda, before opening it and sniffing it... then sipping it.
>Mmm. Tasty!
>+25 Morale Points.
>>10253508
>Silver staggers back up, shoving Sun away
>Not sure if you've ever been hit in the throat but it's not fun
Yho- *cough* yhouh bhastard! You'll pay for this!
>>10253644
>It's high quality soda, crisp, bubbly, and rich in flavor. The sides of the bottle have those little bumps and a curve, making it easy to grip despite your broken bones.
>>10253651
"It was an accident, I'm sorry!"
>He backs up slowly, hands raised in a placating gesture
"I said I'd give you a hug and I thought it'd be rude to just take that back for no reason, especially since that would make me a liar and I'm definitely not a liar!"
>How he manages to say all of that in one breath is a mystery, for there are no pauses in his ramble, not even one to take a breath
>>10253749
I don't need your pity! You got lucky! I just need to train harder and then I'll make you pay for this!
>>10253749
>I take it back, +50 Morale Points.
>Spinda happily drinks as much as she wants from the soda while waiting for Sun and Silver to return. It helps quite a lot in her efforts to ignore the pain her body's in right now. Broken bones aren't fun.
>...Sun and Silver are coming back for her, right?
>>10253617
>The humans freak out, having never dealt with a wild pokemon invasion
>the tangrowth however is pissed as fuck that his fun is getting interrupted
>the marshtomp cowers
"OH GOD WHAT'S GOING ON"
>The tangrowth attacks using Ancient Power!
>I'm gonna assume level 25, unless you've got an issue with that.
>Ancient Power has 100% accuracy!
>On 0 it will boost Tangrowth's stats!
>0 SpA Tangrowth Ancient Power vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Swellow: 46-56 (63.8 - 77.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

"But... How was that luck? I even made sure to not use Nebby too much 'cause I thought it wouldn't be fair!"
>The young champ seems honestly confused and a bit put off, furrowing his brows and worrying his lower lip as he made a futile attempt at figuring out Silver's logic.
>>10253811
>Whoops, forgot to respond to this one.
>Some of the soda goes down the wrong pipe, sending you coughing and sputtering. The sound attracts one of Sun's Pokemon - Nebby - who sniffs the red panda curiously.
>All of Sun's Pokemon are open for people, by the way. Even Nebby, if someone wants to play the bag & dot hating cat after this short scene of NPCdom
>>10253853
>25 sounds good to me.
>The Swellow shrieks at the Ancient Power attack hitting him, then flies up high where the Tangrowth's attacks can't reach him.
>Swellow readied Fly!
>>10253578
>The birb takes this opportunity while he's this high in the air to check his Pokedex
I found him, he's on Route 117, there's a large pool with a Wailord, some humans with cameras, and a hostile Tangrowth. Going back in.
>>10253877
.
..
...
Shut up!
>Silver shoves past Sun, stomping off down the trail
>New Rival Gained: Silver the Salty
You'll pay! You'll all pay!
>>10253921
>Spinda blinks up at the big metal lion after she's done coughing.
...Oh, uh... hello there. Who're you?
>>10253933
>thinking he scared the bird off, the tangrowth gets closer to the marshtomp, his tentacles reaching to grab the water pokemon!
"GET AWAY GET AWAY WHERE'S THE BIRD HALP"
>>10253933
(Fly doesn't check for accuracy on the first turn so there wouldn't be a roll, just letting you know before you think you have to crash into the ground for a dubsfail)
Alright, I'll be there as soon as possible.
>A quick note is scribbled onto Tobias' cheek before he heads out, cramming both the pen and his phone into the infinite void that are Kalosian pockets.
>Charizard emerges from his Pokemon will a roar, looking expectantly at his trainer as he climbs onto the lizard's back.
"We're going to Hoenn."
>Last two numbers divided by 2 for travel time in minutes, since Hoenn and Sinnoh should be fairly close.
>>10253949
"Pay for what?? You aren't making any sense!"
>It's unknown if he actually meant for Silver to hear him or was merely rambling to himself. After Silver stomps off he spends a few moment just standing and staring before turning around to go back inside, rubbing at the back of his neck awkwardly.
>>10253978
"I AM NEBBY, IF PEW MUST KNOW."
>The lion's voice is loud and booming, one that commands respect from those who hear it. Amusingly, Nebby sounds a lot like Mufasa.
> Ding
> The sound of the overhead coming to life brings Elaine back to the waking world.
> Still too asleep to actually parse the words, she looks to her left and right as the attendant speaks in her bouyant tone.
> Through the passenger window she can see the land.
> It's beautiful, pretty, and all together too bright to be looking at immediately after waking up.
> Grumbling she scrunches her eyes shut and reaches under the seat to grab her bag.
> It's a bit uncoordinated with her clothes, but the duffel bag provides a great deal more capacity than a purse.
> Not to say she doesn't have a purse, but it's also inside said duffel.
> Which is why she picked it up, so she could get to her purse and her wallet and other such things before everyone stampeded out of the plane.
> What she wasn't expecting to find in her bag however was the Furret that had given her a berry, curled up in in the bag.
> It wasn't until she heard the rest of 1st class getting up to leave the plane that she realized she had just spent a few minutes staring at the stowaway.
> With a shrug though, and in repayment for the berry earlier, she zips the duffel back up and joins the rest of the passengers in leaving.
---
Later, in a taxicab
---
> Elaine rests the bag on her lap and unzips it, gently prodding the Furret.
"I believe you have an explaination for me, little fluffball."
>>10253997
>Duly noted
>>10253990
"I SUGGEST YOU LOOK UP!"
>Birb crashes down on the Tangrowth
>I have no idea what level to put Tangrowth so I'm putting it at 40 since Tangela learns Ancientpower at 38 and 40's a nice round number
0 Atk Swellow Fly vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Tangrowth: 30-36 (21.1 - 25.3%) -- 0% chance to 4HKO
>Oh dear.
>>10254050
>Actually this Tangrowth is a cheat and is only level 25
>Don't question it
>Still, there's problems even at that level
>0 SpA Tangrowth Ancient Power vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Swellow: 46-56 (63.8 - 77.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
>Same rules as before
>VERY PANICKED MARSHTOMP NOISES AS THE ATTACK LAUNCHES
"WAIT NO NO NO NO GET AWAY DON'T HURT THE BIRD LEAVE ME ALONE AAAAAAAAAAA"
>>10254035
>The Furret, of course, had been asleep, but the prod was enough to wake him.
>He blinks in confusion, before looking up at Elaine, and giving a small, nervous chuckle, before chittering a bit up at the woman.
>He does seem very, very relieved to be on solid ground again. ...Even if he's still in a moving vehicle.
>>10254030
"Nebby, huh? ...I'm Jackie, or at least, that's what I call myself, I don't really have a name someone else gave me... Nice to meet you!"
>Yes, Jackie as in Jack Daniels
>The Spinda offers her one intact paw to the big lion to shake.
>>10254070
>Welp, readjusting for Tangrowth's actual level, it's
>0 Atk Swellow Fly vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Tangrowth: 42-50 (45.6 - 54.3%) -- 45.3% chance to 2HKO
>0 Atk Swellow Aerial Ace vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Tangrowth: 30-36 (32.6 - 39.1%) -- 91.6% chance to 3HKO
>He's done one of each to the Tangela.
>Either way, the birb crumples to the ground, his Pokedex landing beside him- ripe for any of the humans to grab.
>Welp.
>>10254097
> Elaine nibbles slightly on her lip as she watches the Furret 'talk' to her.
> Then after a bit more waiting, she nods.
> She hold her hand out over the seat next to her, snaps, and then pats it.
"Out with you now, have some things I really must retrieve from my bag. Most importantly, another bag."
> She chuckles at the absurdity of what she just said before continuing.
"I wonder though. I don't suppose you'd be so lucky, as to miraculously escape that plane into the same airport you boarded it from, would you?"
>tfw this is the only roleplay thread I know of on 4chan
>>10254162
>The Furret leaps out of the bag, then curls up on the seat, watching the woman. Afterwards, he shrugs. He... doesn't exactly know where he is.
Anyone else a rock specialist here? Recently got this gal reanimated from a fossil, and she's a welcome addition to the team.
>>10254174
Hunger Games and the ERP thread also exist, but they're both here in /trash/, too. There's also /qst/ if you think of that as a form of RP, and /tg/ if you're into tabletop game discussion, but that's about it.
>>10254152
>the Tangrowth is almost down, like, 2 HP levels of "barely survived"

>0 SpA Marshtomp Muddy Water vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Assault Vest Tangrowth: 5-6 (4.6 - 5.5%) -- possibly the worst move ever

>The Tangrowth is KO!
>But then the humans intervene
>Rolling to see if they try and rape the marshtomp with another pokemon or just put her in her ball
>>10254211
>tfw /trash/ is your favorite board
>>10254189
"... Is that so."
> She begins pulls out her purse from the duffel bag, a deep dark green that contrasts with her bright green dress.
> If it weren't for the four large onyx gems set where the straps are attached to the bag proper, it might seem plain.
> Finding the bag she wanted, she zips the other one and returns it to the floor under her feet.
"I guess that makes us both strangers in the stranger land of Alola, doesn't it?"
> She laughs again, though this time in general jubilation than humor.
> As she talks she pulls out a small tube of candy and taps a single piece into her palm, which she hands to the pokemon.
"If you're well enough behaved, I wouldn't object to you tagging along."
>>10254121
>Nebby isn't quite sure what to make of the paw, batting at it lightly until his attention is caught by Sun opening the door. The lion nods at Jackie before hopping onto and curling up on Sun's bed.
"Oh hey! You're awake!"
>>10254300
>Seeing as the Furret originally came from Johto, that'd be a yes- and so, he gives Elaine a nod. He then smiles wide as he accepts the piece of candy and pops it into his mouth. He's in!
>>10254348
>Jackie blinks softly at the lion batting at her paw, before smiling up to the kind human and nodding. She then... blinks, a chittered question coming forth.
"...Where's the red-head boy?"
>>10254358
> Elaine smiles as she watches the Furret enjoy the treat, before going to her phone.
> Unlike her bag, her phone is completely utilitarian, a boring grey box of digital pieces.

So I made it to Alola, currently in a taxi on my way to my hotel in Hau'oli right now. I've got a week to relax here, what exactly is there to do here outside of the generic gift shops I'm seeing out my window at the moment?
Gooood morning Goldenrod! DJ Mary here, with your morning rundown!
First of all, let's take a look at League news! Starting off with bit of a sad note, Almia's petition for admission into the Inter-regional Pokemon League have once again been denied, with suspicious of internal corruption and a lack of appropriate oversight being noted as primary concerns.
In Celebrity Gossip, paparazzi caught Alola's Champ Sun in what appeared to be a physical altercation with an older gentleman following a rather embarrassing battle. Local reporters attempted to interview the man, who apparently became physically aggressive! No comment from the Champ at the time.
Over at the crime desk, reports of a string of petty thefts near the outskirts of Hau'oli City have locals in an uproar! Authorities have declined to comment, but assured us that they are working diligently. Go get em' guys!
In addition to this, highway patrol has asked motorists to be wary of what they describe as "incredibly fast motorcyclist driving at incredibility high speeds". Due to the aforementioned speeds, no licence-plate number or physical description is available. Scary!
And rounding us out for the day, it's the weather! Sunny skies and warm weather over most of the region, with some cool air bringing us back down into the 70's by tomorrow night. Looks like we can Expect light showers throughout the night, so be sure to get in before dusk!
Now, how's about some music to brighten up the morning! Here's a classic for you guys!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ezmCRcMTjXI
And as always phone lines are open, just dial 555-GLDRDIO, that's 555-4537346, and pop in for a chat, right here on Gooooood Morning Goldenrod!
>>10255062
Where is that motorcycle located?
>>10255128
...Um.
>sounds of papers ruffling
>she forgot to cut the mic, you can hear he grabbing for notes over the air
>this is definitely going to hurt the Nielsen ratings
Anonymous tipsters have reported sightings in Unova, but at least one person claims to have seen the mystery cyclist in regions remote as Orre and Ransei!
...wait that's not even the same continent. Sheesh guys, do we even verify these things anymore?
>she realizes she's still on the air
Oh! Uh... I mean of course we do! Little in-joke we tell around the office haha, uh, here's some more music!

Happy Johto day!

>SF slowly wake up.
How is everyone this slow morning?
a list of pokemon you can cum inside: all of them
a list of pokemon you cant: none of them
>>10256710
worked out and stuff.
what about you?
>>10257010
well if you want to get technical Bronzor you can't.
>>10256710
Drinking copious amounts of coffee.
>>10257010
Now that's ambition.
>>10254204
Sorry, half asleep here. Fossil dweeb here, what's up, Anon?
If you're still around.
>>10257010
Disgusting. I would never do that.
>>10257045
Woke up and dressing. Still need breakfast though.
>>10257091
But why?
>>10256710
Crimes in Alola, sleeping in murderer's beds. The usual IP biz. Thank goodness I'm an internal affairs agent.
>>10257149
Have to wake up somehow.
>>10257171
Whats the usual IP application process? Asking in case I fail to get work somewhere else.
>>10257201
You're gonna need a bit of prior training or be willing to hop into classes if you wanna go into anything that's investigatory. You usually just pop in, hand off an application and do a background check if you're applying for certain areas you'll have to do a psychic examination.
IP has a job for basically everyone, though!
>>10257171
Sounds like a normal day for the average user around here to me. Then again it's still pretty abnormal. Stay safe. Don't want anything bad happening to you.
Also you'd think the IP would give agents an easier time when it came to sleep and such.
>>10257201
Try opening your eyes when waking up. I heard that usually works.
I think my Lucario is entirely too fluffy to be Steel type
>>10257541
The IP has a cybercrime and related surveillance divison doesn't it? Wanting to put my skills to use.
Psychic examination... uh.
>>10257596
Three cups of coffe down, now its the time for additional coffee but socially.
>>10257694
Steel-like bones, apparently.
>>10257596
Ehhh, it's fine! What's up with you?
>>10257694
Bones of steeeeeel.
>>10257755
Yep, sure does.
Welllllllll, if someone recommends you or you're shown to be, y'know, not a douche anymore you can get past with a spotty record.
Mostly to keep stuff from leaking I think.
The world would be a better place if all poison and bug types were exterminated.
>>10257694
They burn like steel types though.
>>10257843
well, that's a bit extreme.
>>10257755
>3 cups of coffee.
>Is about to take another.
Is that healthy?
>>10257694
Fluff type?
>>10257807
Taking care of my pokès and cleaning up my armory.
>>10257843
But why? They're pretty cool.
>>10257951
>armory.
Do you live in fucking Orre?
>>10257843
You know, even I wouldn't go that far.
Fuck bugs though.
>>10257843
what is wrong with them?
i'm not much of a fan of them, but i don't think they should be exterminated
I dont want to be here anymore
i mis home
>>10257972
Oh sorry. Didn't specify. I meant storage locker. I just find the usage of armory a lot cooler. It's just a few guns I don't use anymore. More for show then anything.
But Orre does have its perks. Hmm.
Maybe I should move.
>>10257807
Lets say it was an accident as a result of the circumstances.
>>10257843
But why
>>10257951
Hell if I know, I just know I both enjoy and need coffee.
>>10258039
Who are you and where is home?
>>10258048
>wanting to move to orre
>guns
>"army"
i hope the IP raid you beforr you gun down some kindergarten
>>10258065
not here its too hot i dont like it everything hurts
>>10258093
You are talking to a man trained in gorilla warfare. You dare insult him?
>>10258140
Can you leave?
Where are you?
>>10258197
Rock.
Its all water and metal
>>10258663
How are you communicating?
This does not sound good...
I want to cum in a goodra.
>>10258755
Sounds dangerous
>>10258815
Since when are Goodra dangerous?
>>10258978
Possibly smother you to death
>>10258986
Oh.
(Hey, I wanted to ask thread. What does thread think of disallowing playing canon characters? Maybe barring E4 and Gym Leaders.)
>>10259400
[Skitters ree-ing in the distance]
>>10259456
(Posting this shit isn't going to help get the idea through, fuckstick.)
>>10259400
(Still would need someone to play them when they become plot relevant)
>>10259400
(Anon being retarded aside, this isn't a great idea.)
(It'd piss a lot of people off who already play canon characters for a start.)
(Also what >>10259514 said.)
>>10259456
(I'd be pretty pissed if you yoinked the three I'm playing, yeah. Wouldn't you be pissed if your characters got yoinked?)
(I'd offer my opinion on the matter, but anon is asking thread, not me.)
>>10258663
Water, metal, and rock... Is that a cave of some sort?
I wanna fug a bara ghost golem!
(While on the topic of asking thread their opinions of things, I was talking to the Discord about maybe putting restrictions on Porygon line cyber travel to fix the "I travel to your antagonist through their computer and Hyber Beam, lol" type stuff without ruining their playability. Cyber Travel taking three rolls to get somewhere was suggested, and Porygon line Pokemon being vulnerable for the first turn or two after emerging from the computer was also suggested.)
(What do you guys think of these, and do you have any suggestions of your own?)
>>10259740
Then go do it, what's stopping you?
And they said it couldn't done! Well today I'm building my first proof of concept of a new robotic pokemon!
>Rolling for progress.
>Dubfail is bad.
>>10259855
(Maybe a like turn or two of vulnerability works better. With our even/odd rolls it makes it really easy for someone to script around stuff and 3 rolls is basically asking for a dubfail.)
>>10259855
(Was thinking that instead of plain rolling, it could be limited where a Porygon can cyberwarp to and from)
(More restrictively through only PC System connected computers)
(Less restrictively through powerful enough computers (preventing dex cheese) and/or through explicitly open computers (and then roll to find an open computer))
>>10259974
(Yeah, that's true. Thanks for the answer, anon. I'll add that into the currently WIP canon bin and probably the other anon's idea. Just gotta find out the deets on the other idea, too.)
>>10259995
(What would "open computer" mean? Like... Any computer that's currently on or...)
(Also, does anybody have preferences for whether it's PC only or open, powerful computers?)
>>10259913
Hellooo robo anon~
How goes the progress?
>>10260112
If you'd believe it's coming along well! I'm creating a test proof of concept to use and test in a few battles before I go onto something larger.
You?
>>10259913
1:1 scale or a smallmodel to attract investors?
But seriously, good luck.
>>10260112
(On can be a requirement, open meaning that it is insecure and allowing any Porygon to pass through)
>>10260229
(Alright, thanks for the suggestion, anon. I'll add it into the bin as well.)
>>10260213
I've been testing the viability of Sliggoo mucus in cleaning up oil spills. Their mucus can indeed break down the oil, it's just a matter of making it safe for any other Pokemon in the area.
...What's the legal speed limit in Black City?
>>10260625
30 mph unless posted otherwise, why?
>>10260213
Now that I'm not missing.
>>10260886
Cute magnet.
>>10260526
(Maybe a combo of travel induced delay and travel restrictions would be best to balance out)
PAR? Whats a Gay-jinka?
>>10261205
Some kind of Pokemon cosplay.
>>10261186
(Roll for time, can only go to open computers powerful enough to support it, more easily damaged for a post after travelling due to the hard light body still reforming? Does this sound alright?)
>>10261205
Speculation on what a Pokemon would look like were it turned into a human, if you're talking about artwork. ""Real life gijinkas"" are just Pokemon cosplay.
>>10261332
>roll to turn lettuce into an oddish
There's a girl in Alola running around with a weird dog thing.
Apparently she's giving it away if someone beats her?
>>10261441
Um... What girl? Do you have a picture of the dog...?
>>10261441
what?

>>10261441
...There has to be some sort of pokemon rights violation here.
>>10261504
>>10261548

Tell her she needs to take it to an adoption center.
>Now downing the sixth cup of coffee of the morning
>Thinking
>>10261617
Thats a pretty odd dog alright, never seen it before.
>>10261332
(Sounds good to me, the post travel debuff can be calculated as -Def/SpDef)
(Antags and similars allowing Pories in can mention that there may be an insecure computer somewhere)
>>10261617
Um... I don't remember Moon evolving her Null but uh...
I guess I'll go talk to her?
>>10261617
why she doesn't wnat it anymore
it looks like a rare species of ´pokemon, i never seen one like it before
sadly while i do plan to start my pokemon training career i'm still only with one pokemon and he's not evolved yet

>>10261681

>>10261733
... huh.
>That kinda kills the whole "evolves with friendship" thing, and I'm not sure how fair giving out a leggo is but alright

>Idk, no one is using any of the dogs.
>>10261617
Another dog like me??? Woah!!!
>>10261733
Sounds like my kinda shit but I'm stuck in Unova and would probably get stomped harder.
Goid luck to the winner.
>>10261755

>We'll see if anyone is picking up Moon, but yeah, I see what you mean. It is an interesting idea, it'll be neat to see how it goes.
>In case anyone was wondering, reset!Anomalesia is at the Aether Paradise still, I'm just ironing out the plot I'm working on to introduce him again.

>Meanwhile, the second Type: Null stares at a computer, unsure how to work it.
>He'll figure it out someday, keep trying, doggo.
>Yes, this is just me confirming that I'm still going to play him. Hopefully the other doggo posting is Gladion's pal Silvally.
>>10261926
(I can have Sun take a while to find her if you wanna go grab some images, I don't mind waiting.)
>>10261798
>No luck finding the sister, keep searching!
>Wanted to try and get a doggo
>Someone preplanned it and are just going to get them cause of this anon
(haha there goes my motivation)
>>10262093
(Robot guy might be a good way to cover your base? Comission him to bild a robodoggo.)
>>10261934
...Do we HAVE to have them remain the same characters?
I can see there being a limit of three type:null odd doggos, but I don't see why they have to be Anomalesia and Co.
Let other people have their own interpretations of the characters.
>>10262170
(I still had an interest in playing Ano, hence I was gonna pick him back up. I guess Jiji isn't going to pick Azoth back up though so whoever wants that doggo can have him, I guess/ )

(Sorry I was the guy that started this. I didn't know the Nulls had already been claimed, I'm new here.)
(I'm just going to go lurk, sorry.)
>>10262240
(Maybe keep the limit at 3 for now but expand it over time. With the Moon giveaway, someone must realize that there's demand for odd doggos)
>>10262294
(Shit happens, but nothing that can not be fixed)
cock
(well i was thinking of how funny it would be if my character had an odd doggo, odd guy with an odd doggo, but i didn`t have any expectations of having it so it`s alright)
so how is everyone`s evening going
>>10262476
(I'm not going to even pick up Azoth again, so, you still have the opportunity to if someone else picks him or another doggo up.)
(Also personally I think we should keep it to 3 doggos, if any other doggos appear they should be robotic or something?)
>>10262294
(Only two of them were claimed and that was in the Pre-reset par, and only one of them is getting picked back up. You're fine, we can easily sort things out.)
>>10262324
(It could be an interesting plot, but maybe like... Three original doggos, a maximum of five? The others can be uh... Kinda like that Lillie + starters doggo? Idk.)
(Whoever does it would probably need help from one of the major scientists to do it, like... Colress for a robo doggo or Aether itself for a biological doggo? Even if that "help" is doing a mini plot to find and steal the files.)
>>10262507
(Dunno how well a robo doggo would fit the setting. Guess it would depend on the FC. I personally like the Type: Lillie though, a plot of someone trying to recreate Aether's experiment and using a human as part of it could be neat.)
>>10262476
I'm in the middle of a random road in Hoenn looking for a daycare.
It could be better.
Hey my dudes i just responed to call about a suicide and not gonna lie ive seen some shit but this... this takes the cake. I didn't need sleep anyway.
>>10262476
Wait what it is already evening?
>>10262666
Spill the beans, dude.
>>10262507
>>10262603
(Between the doggos being more known and Aether being at full power something could happen)
(That and mechanon)
>>10262666
Well, spill the beans, Mr. Satan Trips.
>>10262666
I'm going to ignore the obvious question about why a Pokemon is answering suicide calls and instead ask what happened.
What happened?
>>10262728
>>10262750
>>10262812
Well originally it was a call about suicide but there where numerous homicides too. Apparently some pokemon snapped and you'll never guess what kind of pokemon it was. Extremely bloody. blood... everywhere...
>>10262812
woops sorry. i am apart of a search and rescue team
>>10263127
Well, my guess as to what Pokemon it was kinda depends on the region, and I'm not really as interested in that as the Pokemon in question, so... what kind was it?
Also... that's awful.
>>10263127
Well, fuck.
That makes sense, at least.
Here I was thinking you were, for some reason, part of a suicide hotline.
Hm... I'm taking that challenge and guessing: Bidoof?
>>10262603
(We had a robodoggo and everyone liked him, remember?)
>>10263237
(Yeah, I liked him too. I'm just saying that some robot dog FCs would be really out of place - his was fine, but something like... K-9 from Doctor Who would feel really weird and out of place.)
>>10263127
Suicide-homicide? Heavy shit.
Also guessing some kind of Bug type, or an Eevee.
>Sipp
>>10263295
(Yeah, picking a good FC is important. Kind of why the merge plot the other day kind if took a wrong turn as soon the Ratchet FC showed up)
hello how talk to ip
trainer wants to do a boom
>>10262728
Well kinda
The sun is setting so it counts
>>10263127
My guess is a Ditto snapped. I have met Dittos before that I would not trust to leave my sight for an instant.
Ugh... Bad memory, sorry.
>>10263370
A boom? On who?
>>10263370
A boom? ...That doesn't sound good. What kind of boom are we talking about?
Also, where are you?
>>10263295
(Man I can't read. But yeah you're right, that'd be kind of weird having a toaster with a dog head rolling around.)
>>10263363
(The merge plot itself was kind of.. meh looking to start. The whole Ratchet thing just threw it headfirst in the ditch.)
>>10263370
Do a 911 or hope they have someone online right now
>>10263363
(Not him but does my fc feels out of place?)
(I am the guy in the costume )
>>10263418
>>10263442
>>10263474
want to boom in unova
am is a unova
hello ip pleasse do a help trainer has a popper
>>10263529
...I'm over in Hoenn, I can't do anything. Uh, like >>10263474 said, call 911.
>>10263506
(You're absolutely fine)
>>10263408
Goddamn.
>Sipp
>Wait when did I get to 10+ cups of coffee
>>10263370
Run to the closest cop.
>>10263529
Wait what the fuck
WHERE IN UNOVA
>>10263474
(Could have been handled better either way)
>>10263506
(Nope, plus it looks kind of like a Malamar)
>>10263529
I'm in Unova and have an IP agent staying with me. Do you know which town you and your trainer are in?
>>10263561
>>10263573
>>10263580
um
human has big boom with wires and the numbers and then he has big stick popper popper
virbank
um
i need to go
if find trainer please dont battle me hardly
>>10263370
>>10263529
POPPERS?
A BOOM?
>>10263580
"Mr. N! I need to go! Please don't make any nuclear warheads while I'm gone!"
>>10263707
I! Will get rid of the poppers!!
>Rolling for travel time with last number.
>>10263707
...A bomb with a countdown clock and a gun. That... doesn't bode well.
>>10263731
...At least someone's on the case.
>>10263707
FUCK
>Highly caffeinated nerd: run the fuck out of the Virbank motel, team in tow
>>10263179
>>10263197
>>10263363
>>10263418
Nope but close. it was a Zigzagoon. In Johto nonetheless. which makes this a tough question to answer. 'why'. man i need a long 4 hour shower....
>>10263731
>Rolling for if IP agent can see a Very Freaked Out Shedinja looking out a window.
>Odds are a no and dubfail is bad.
>>10263573
maybe you need a rest
My weavile is my best friend.
I met her when she was a young sneasel just hatched while wondering though the icy path.
>>10263809
A Zigzagoon? In... Johto? ...That doesn't sound good. I've honestly not ever met a Zigzagoon that wasn't happy and playful, pushing one to do that kind of damage to itself and others would take some serious mistreatment...
>>10263707
Right, I'll be there soon.
>N calls over Zekrom, hopping onto his back
>I'm giving him a 10 minute travel time for anywhere in Unova because Zekrom is a turbine butt leggo, does anyone mind that..?
>Obvs I'd make it longer to go to other regions
>>10263731
"I have to leave as well, so that won't be a possibility."
>This is definitely one of those awkward moments where people say goodbye and end up heading to the same place.
>>10263784
>Squint.
>>10263819
>Radio: Out.
"HQ, this is Suzuya, Class 3 Internal Affairs Agent. I've got a lead about a possible bomb threat in Virbank. Investigating now."
>MISSION: START.
>Rolling for investigation.
>>10263884
>Squint.
>Lettuce spotted.
>>10263809
Damn, close but no cigar.
Were there humans dead? Might have been one of theirs.
And... It sounds like you need a drink.
>>10263884
>>10263920
>Investigation roll is a success.
>You spot a suspicious man in a trench coat carrying a large bag.
>A VERY concerned Shedinja is following him.
>>10263920
>You see some hastily dressed guy with a Porygon2 and Magnemite, but otherwise don't see details
(Read as: preparing FC)
>>10263867
are you sure? Dark types like to manipulate humans.
>>10263879
I know which is why this whole scene is weird. Zigzagoons are almost always harmless. I almost feel bad for it...
>>10263923
yeah two humans and 4 other pokemon. all of the pokemon appear to be E Class so they weren't battling types.
This was extremely planned and stuff. Not sure what to think. the human in charge should know how to proceed!
>>10263920
>Lettuce knows you're there, but he's a bit busy at the moment. Looks like he's talking to a Krabby.
>>10263986
>The Krabby then scuttles off and attempts to stall the highly suspicious man by pinching his leg.
>Rollin' for quality of distraction/stall, I suppose?
>>10263986
>Bleep, radio muted.
>Do your best impression of Naked Snake and tail him.
>>10264010
>Squint loudly.
(No worries, mate.)
>>10264161
>Oh goddamn it lettuce.
>>10264090
Why she can be a bit tough to handle. Often she will claw and bite me with no provocation.
As for manipulating, she'll just give me those big cute eyes when she wants something. When she's starting to make too much trouble around town. It gets me in trouble too.
>>10264161
>1.
>You distract him enough to keep him from seeing the SNAAAAAAAAAAAKE EATER.
>But otherwise he gives the pokemon a gentle shove away and hastens his way toward the Gym.
>Did I mention Roxy is holding a concert?
>Because the bug didn't get the chance to.
>>10264184
>The IP agent goes unnoticed.
>>10264233
>Uh, I don't know what to do with this honestly.
>I'll say he gets distracted with a hobo in front of the empty radio tower and you two get an extra turn on him.
>Clearly panicking about something
>It seems he forgot something important, he is constantly checking his pockets
>>10264161
>"Weird", he comments to himself
>>10264184
>Does not notice
>>10264233
>Roll to notice
>>10264184
>>10264184
>He's a helpful lettuce
>>10264233
>>10264246
>Well, that didn't work as well as he hoped - the Krabby, seeing its job done, retreats back into the river from which it came.
>N is gone for a minute or two, but returns with a Pidove on each arm and a bag of chips.
"Now, friends... I need you to get the bag. Just knock it out of his grasp and keep him from picking it back up. Can you do that?"
>The Pidoves eye the bag of chips and coo in confirmation, fluttering off soon afterwards.
>Rollin' to get him to drop his bag via finger pecking.
>>10264233
>>10264246
>Sidle across the outside wall.
>The next step in our master plan.
>Out goes the plush.
>Rolling to shadow sneak and see the contents of the bag.
>>10264292
>Note the weirdo.
>>10264431
>Thank you lettuce.
>>10264292
>You notice a VERY dangerous weirdo.
>>10264431
>1.
>No go, he breaks into a full run from the hobo towards his destination.
>You have 3 bomberposts until he reaches the edge of the crowd.
>>10264446
>6.
>6.
>6.
>O BOI.
>You see inside a bomb, it isn't primed to blow yet and a Beretta, a cartridge is loaded in and the safety is flicked off.
>You can see he doesn't have any pokemon other than his Shedinja.
>>10264499
>Ebin
>I'll just say he's slow today and make it 4 bomberposts until the crowd is reached.
>I'm probably going to stop giving you stuff for fails unless I roll from now on.
>>10264431
>Watching in confusion the lettuce
>>10264446
>Weirdo still has yet to find out that the law enforcement is on the case
>>10264499
>Dangerous weirdo spotted going toward a crowd
>Roll to walk naturally and not at all panicked out in his general direction
>>10264499
>>10264516
>Heg
>The Pidoves aren't sure what to do, but they really want that bag of chips. Rather than peck his fingers into submission, the birds outright try to grab the bag and wrestle it from him... Which most definitely will not work, since these are small pigeons and this is a large bag.
>Rollin' for pigeon distraction
>inb4 1
>N himself begins walking towards the crowd - a bit faster than normal, but not enough so that it would draw attention... Anymore attention than he gets by being N, anyway.
>>10264615
>Everyone's favorite lettuce has yet to notice your presence - to him you're just another random person.
>costume guy brainstorm ideas to name his natu
>also he tries his first time a battle against a weak wild pokemon
>roll for success
>>10264499
>>10264516
>Banette claims a spot in the bag and flicks the safety on and pulls the cartridge out, putting it to a far portion of the bag.
>Banette shadow sneaks back to give its trainer the info.
>Run toward the dude.
"Hey! Hey! Sir!"
>>10264615
>Oh god there better not be 2 people on this job.
>>10264733
>got critted and one hitted
>sad costume guy
>>10264615
>Not subtle at all, he looks in your direction.
>>10264698
>8.
>You at the very least get him to drop the bag.
>He curses up a storm as he tries to get it back.
>>10264758
>The gun is safety'd and the clip is taken out.
>You, uh, know there's always a bullet that gets chambered, right?
>That might be a thing.
>Anyway, you get his attention.
"What the hell do you want?"
>>10264801
>The Pidoves sit triumphantly on the bag, biting and pecking at the man whenever his hands come close.
>Our resident lettuce leans back against a wall, watching and waiting for his help to be needed further.
>Failed to look calm
>Breathe in
>Breathe out
>Brea...
>>10264801
>Trying to think fast of something to say
>He positions himself behind his team
>"Uh.."
>>10264758
>Wait where did she come from
>Where the fuck is my cellphone
>Why has no one called the police
>>10264698
>Too panicked to realize that the situation warranted the presence of someone relatively famous
>>10264801
"Are you having trouble with your baaaaaag~? Do you have pokefeed in there?"
>He reaches toward the bag.
"Lemme help you."
>>10264927
"Howdy, do you know this guy?"
>>10264199
Holy fuck, why the hell do you still have her.
>>10264090
Doesn't mean you can't do some solo investigation.
Did the dead Zig belong to either of those humans? Did the two humans have some sort of connection, or were they random?
>>10261934
>Awaken my Dweebster
"...Oh, so we finally got on the fucking raft, good."
>He stretches, getting up and going over to the mast at the center of the small boat, where a patchwork sail of clothes is ready to be raised
>He hoists it up, and directs Desmond to the till so they can steer without the oars, though they'll still help
"Alright, let's pick up the pace!"
>Rolling for new travel time, last digit
>>10264925
>Someone please help.
>>10264927
"What's your deal?"
>>10264978
>8.
>I'll assume the Pidoves aren't gonna peck IP guy.
>You lay a hand on the bag.
>Shedinja Lv30, swings forward and uses Shadow Ball on the IP agent.
>Shedinja is holding back so, roll with evens/odds, even if he hits it won't be anything near threatening, more of a punch.
>goes home after visiting the pokemon center
i`m not good at battiling
>>10264978
>Still panicked
"No I don't I think he has a..."
>>10265027
>As soon as the other lady gets attacked
"OH FUCK"
>Non dangerous weirdo hits the floor
>He says something muffled
>Rolling for if his team understand, on evens, the Magnemite uses Light Screen
>>10265027
>That's not good.... N looks up at a nearby rooftop, debating whether or not to call Zekrom over.
"Zekrom?"
>Needless to say, calling him over won out. Voicing the command isn't really necessary, but he does so out of habit.
>Since Zekrom isn't already over here and isn't being released from a Pokeball I'll say that Zekrom won't actually be over here until N's next post.
>>10265133
>Pat calamari.
You tried.
>>10265009
>Let's say...
>9 minutes until they hit Hoenn's shore.
>Jackie's three hours of relentless rowing can't have been worthless, damnit
>>10265027
>Miss.
>Aegislash LV40 goes out.
>Shadow Ball the bug.
>0 SpA Aegislash-Blade Shadow Ball vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Shedinja: 440-518 (44000 - 51800%) -- guaranteed OHKO
"Hands up. You're going to jail, bomberman."
>>10265139
"...Are you okay?"
>>10265139
>>10265172
>He isn't really paying attention.
>>10265221
>Oh fuck.
>He looks at the bird covered duffel bag and then at the IP agent.
>...And...
>He puts his hands in the air, because, he does care.
>>10265009
>>10265216
"Fantastic vacation, guys. Amazing."
>>10265174
yeah
i tried
but maybe another time
>>10265241
>The weirdo watched it all from the floor
>He picks himself up.
>>10265221
"...maybe."
