Not really? I mean it just means you get what you see, and if you like the character, it's your best bet at getting a figure of her that isn't a statue.

Articulation wise, they are not too good, especially Mash, the posability of her legs and ankles is very limited. Gilgamesh is better in this regard though is still limited by his armor (but I guess that would be expacted, heavy armour is not for acrobats).
As for looks, they are both pretty nice looking in person, especially Mash. I myself am not regreting buying them.

I think I'll finally pick up Saber 2.0 too. The expression options this one gives her are great.
I like the new armored/A1 Saber Lily since she has serious and positive expressions. The roaring expression is even better on her than on 2.0, if marginally so.

As for the gates of Babylon I was planning on doing it as a diorama in the future. The upcoming revoltech knights or dark souls black knight figma had me wanting to make a lancelot/berserker custom with black effects. It's the main reason im looking to get the figma. I've been looking at ways to replicate the nendoroid GB effect. Looks like i can shape them with hot glue or modelling water effects and airbrush over it.
