Comparitively speaking, FT has been doing great as far as concept-test shot-release is concerned. The idea of getting more than two figs a year from them was foreign just a few years ago. Now they're doing ~5 or so which is great.

In the Headmasters anime most of the new characters were about the same size as Optimus and when it came time to make 3P versions of those bots Maketoys used that as a reference for their size when scaling them to MP-10.

The weapons that come with Master Mades head replacement for scorponok are pretty great. They have handles that universal enough to be used by pretty any figure that accepts 5mm weapons .

I own one, their Not-Omega Supreme. It's pretty solid except on my copy, the legs squeak something fierce. But it didn't start doing that until like a month or so after purchase. One day the legs just started squeaking and started moving pretty roughly. I think I need some kind of lube for'em, but I don't even know where I'd apply it or what kind to get.

Other than that, it's been good. And I've not heard of this happening to anyone else, so maybe it's just my shit luck rearing it's head.

On the joints themselves (so you'd have to open it up). You could try getting some sort of grease. I got some Tamiya Cermaic Grease from HLJ a while ago and that stuff seems to work pretty well but there are plenty of other options too. Hopefully you can fix it, anon, and thanks for your feedback. Yeah, that's pretty much how I feel about him. It's extra disappointing too because his alt-mode is basically a wash from the design stage, so the robot has to pull double duty and it doesn't come close.

How do I get one?

After just getting mpp10 and the oversized KBB Bumblebee, I decided to just keep going at this OS scale. It'll be cheaper, and so far Weijiang is at least making improvements on the Hasbro/Takara molds.

When MPP10 with trailer is both better, bigger and the same cost, it's just silly to keep buying the official ones.

For $50 this kit is a fucking steal compared to PE.
I don't know why people were making a fuss about breaking their figures. It's just one peg that keeps the purple "light bars" closer together. I'm actually thinking about cutting off the light bars and adding detail to the legs.
The crotch-plate was a bit loose but secure enough. I personally added a pin to keep the crotch-plate in place, but it isn't needed at all. Some parts were a bit squeaky, but a little lube fixed it up.

TL;DR great investment if you want a Generations Bruticus or if none of the 3P offerings tickle your fancy.

He's a huge robot as well and just meh. Pictured center is IMO the best so far of the MP Hounds and it's the Maketoys Hound. He really immolates the Classics Hounds

Maketoys is badass. All around great he just has to much fucking die cast. He whole feet and his whole thigh is die cast, and they'r heavy and clunky. His top doesn't lock into the waist so he has a lot of crunch but it's also easy to stretch him out

They also all look kind of dumb. I thought the MP Jazz wars were fine, and Maketoys Jazz was great and worthy of keeping once and official happens. Hound however I don't think any of them will be up to snuff in the long run

He's fucking perfect. He makes MP8 seem like trash. Doesn't feel cheap at all. Nothing I've gotten from FT feels cheap.

there's only so many ways you can do a faithful Grimlock, so he's not as exciting as their Sludge, but to me he's an amazing capper to their Dinobots.

You won't regret getting him. That I can promise.

Agreed. I love Headmasters too though I'm not a fan of all the Targetmasters and Powermasters being made into Headmasters, so I'm really happy TakaraTomy is making the Targetmasters to go with them, at least.

Laster/Raging Bull? Apparently not since I already asked. Thread on TFW about it has lots of pictures and some feedback though. People have bought them so expect lots of reviews and in-hand feedback over the next week.

Apparently he's good but Blacker (the torso) is going to be the telling piece, as TFC has failed at the last minute (i.e. with torsos) before, ruining the whole combiner.
