I have Gamora and Rocket and I've got the rest on their way to me.

Gamora and Rocket are bloody great (as long as you like her Mass Effect look), they come with a very reasonable amount of accessories and the interlocking base. I really wasn't expecting Rocket's articulation to be so good, imo that's the best Rocket figure out there.

My only real gripe is the unmasked Star Lord head being a bit shit and I'm a bit concerned about the whole possibility of it being floppy as fuck (which is easily fixed), but apart from that I really dig how they all look together.

Sorry for being a total newfag guys but I'm not a huge collector and want to make sure I'm not destroying something I can sell one day to complete someone's collection as opposed to just having some fun with them.

Are Marvel Legends figures something that hold value? Scarlet Spider (hoodie Ben Reilly) and Spider-Gwen are in my meager collection. I've held them in the box but would optimally like to display them. Same for Spidey and MJ... if I put in the effort to find the two-pack and drop the money, am I going to need to keep these things in the box due to rarity?

Don't worry about that. I have figuarts and mezco figures on display and they're way more expensive than marvel legends will ever be. As long as you don't ruin them and you keep the box you should be able to sell them at a good price. The condition is what really matters, not whether it's opened or not.

I really like Moon Knight. His staff is actually Daredevils billyclubs so it seperates at the center. The three tiny moon shuriken can stick in to either clenched fist. The hands are trigger hands so you kinda have to fanangle the staff in there. Articulation is standard for legends. I like the sculpt and everything a lot. Great figure.

Hey, I got mine today too. You can get some cool poses if you use his cape as a stand. Not quite as poseable as someone like Agent Venom who can balance on one foot comfortably. I like the jerk off hands too (the joint is perpendicular to most others).

Yeah pretty much, you can use superglue and constantly work the joint too but I feel a little safer sticking with floor polish. Had my fair share of dealing with that with the old toybiz legs.

Kid of dated, but still good. It's a modified Legends 1 Ironman body. The shoulders have this weird hinge, but the cape hides the hollow gap it leaves, and the chest swivel is kinda weirdly done.

The sculpt is pretty solid.

My gotg W2 case came in, and seeing as I was mostly in it for the movie figures, I'm pretty happy. Mantis is pretty goddamned nice, though she really should have come with an extra, non-fingerbanging right hand considering the pain in the ass you have to go through to even get her. I'm happy to finish a team without the gummy problems of the first movie wave though.

I've gotta say though, it really feels like hasbro has a mandate somewhere that their female figures absolutely NEED to be shitty in certain ways. I'm familiar with the elbows thing and I almost don't care anymore at this point, but they still haven't figured out basic shit like how their ankle pivot doesn't work with high heels. Whoever worked on gamora clearly gave a damn because her paint and sculpting is on point, even her hair is soft enough to let her look around. But then she has trouble with basic stuff like standing because they're still doing stuff that didn't work on black widow three years ago

I've only ever used Prisma to blend photos when PS touch failed to do the job properly. Even then it's only a mediocre solution and that depends entirely on the mood you want to convey with the filter. For that reason, I stick to the B&W filters and use heavy shadows in my photos.

Why did Brock-Toxin end up such a boring figure? In the comics, this form is always shown with a lot of surface detail, as if he's made of vines (or veins) with a huge mane of tendrils coming off his back.

The figure ended up just being mostly flat and lacking in details aside from the gradient. Those tentacles are laughable as well.

Hi guys, I'm asking for some expert prediction on aftermarket prices

So last year out of boredom I've picked a lot of the Abomination BAF wave figures I'm not particularly interested in, like Eel, etc basically C-listers for $5-7 each on Amazon.

I had some eye on the Sandman and Warlock wave figures. I've singled out and secured Jim Lee Cyclops as the obvious figure that probably gonna rise in price. How about the rest though? Kamala, Jackal, Black Suit Spidey, Sunfire, Polaris. Are they gonna bin even further into the 5-7 bucks range or should I stop being a cheap bastard and just cash in at the $17-20 price they are now?

Apparently women having heeled shoes is marvels thing. They want their characters depicted accurately. THe reason electro didn't some with yellow hands is because marvel wanted hasbro to mold his trademark bolt glove hands, and hasbro couldn't do that in time and opted for not alternate hands. Marvel is particular and won't let hasbro do things we know are simple swaps.

So... the feet. Hasbro and fans have pushed against that non-sense and marvel is backing off a bit for more functional and better toys.

Looks legit from looking at many pictures, so Marvel Legends quality. I have a couple of random pieces of Ares to compare to and everything matches up. .

There's a couple of Crossbones (Walmart wave too) up as well.

I don't know what the fuck is up with the extra weapons, but the arms even have the slight color discrepancies between the shoulders and the rest of the arm, and the plastic looks the same. If it's a KO, they've gone to insane lengths to make it visually indistinguishable.

I recently got Wrecker for 35$
I really like the Big Guy, sculpt and articulation are great, and the little paint he has is pretty great(like the face)
He makes want to get the rest of the Wrecking Crew, but the prices on ebay are off-putting.
What do you guys think is a good price for them?

It'a a KO. I have an original one and while it does look very similar, it does look a bit off.

A few of the extra weapons are recasts of MOTUC weapons.

I'm not saying don't buy it or that it looks bad, mind you, I'm just trying to warn people so that they aren't disappointed if they buy one.

Could be factory defects, absolutely. It's more plausible to me that they found leftovers of a notoriously poorly distributed wave in some Chinese warehouse somewhere than that anyone did a brand new run of picture-perfect replicas of a 2009 BAF of a character that isn't even in comics anymore, let alone movies in 2017, though.

I won't be totally surprised if it arrives with wonky eyes, but I've got a spare Ares head lying around somewhere and the seller has had plenty of legit rare finds in the past so I'm not worried.
