Some of these really don't look bad. I'd even go so far as saying the Beerus and Frieza look better than the SHF counterparts.

It just kind of sucks that this entire wave is composed of figures who've already had Figuarts releases. The only remotely interesting figure is the Shenron BAF.

Maybe the next wave will have some Movie figures. I'd love to have a Turles, Cooler, Android 13, Janeemba, and Garlic Jr. Shit, maybe they could even do a wave consisting of the Ginyu Force!

I have the SSJ4 Goku, SSJ4 Vegeta, and Kid Buu figures. They're a tad too tall/thick to fit in perfectly with an SHF display.

The Kid Buu can kinda work I guess, but the Vegeta and Goku just look too big unless you put them in specific poses. But then figures like Majin Buu, Cell, and (eventually) Piccolo probably benefit from the larger scale. They're good figures, but definitely could have been a little smaller to work better with SHF figures.

Guys this vegeta came out literally ten plus years ago and has "better" hip articulation than the super vegeta figuarts so it's totally a better figure since it has one aspect that is better than the super vegeta while the super vegeta has literally every other aspect better than this figure.

Spaniard here too, where did you find those? Didn't know they were getting a release here, but I guess it's normal given that Spain is the european country with more love for Dragon Ball. We were even the first ones to get the translated manga after all, DB was HUGE here back in the day.

Not the biggest fan of those pins showing at the joints or the shape of the shoulders, but Frieza looks surprisingly nice nonetheless. The Figuarts head sculpt always looked off to me, and that's what I like best in this figure.

This line line looks pretty decent for what they are. If Frieza looks nice in person I'm thinking of buying it to go with my Awakening Goku. But what I really want to see is Imperfect Cell, that would be fantastic.

The paint jobs are slightly different, but I think the best option, especially if you wanted to release 2 of each character, would have been to give them different outfits. Now, of course, by the time resurrection of F happens they'll (assuming they're still making them) make Goku and Vegeta again in their new outfits, hopefully in SSBB (and hopefully heads are removable) and a repaint of Frieza in Gold. I would like to imagine going forward we might have more interesting BaFs than a non articulated Shenron. They could have easily had a few ball pegs in there. And hopefully more interesting character selection going forward.

Hi guys, I'm a bit new to this hobby (figure collecting) and I have two questions regarding three SH Figuarts from the Dragon Ball line plus a general one. Btw, the only DB/Z figure that I have is a Trunks when he was first released (the short haired one that has the sword).

Did they ever re-issue Android 17 and 18? Did anyone purchase the time patroller Trunks figure; is he good? Which is your favorite figure in terms of quality, paint, and articulation?

Patroller would've been great if his scouter was removable on the SS head so you could use it for a Gohan and if his cape was actually removable to use for a 2.0 Trunks, but bandai jewed us on that. He actually has gripping hands that work for Trunks' sword, too.

Also, does your Xeno Trunks have no crotch piece? I figured that was a design choice since the trenchcoat covers it up, but I'mma be pissed if I got a defect.

It's a ball hinge, but the swivel is useless for a few reasons:

1) the plastic holding the cowl onto the body prevents the cape from swiveling by obstructing the movement

2) the cape doesn't have the appropriate divets to allow them to move past said parts

3) the cape is made of model kit-tier plastic; it's very lightweight and rigid

If I wanted to turn his cape to the side, I'd need to get rid of the material under his cowl. Otherwise, it only rotates a very small amount before either the cape slip-slides off the joint or the joint disconnects from his back.

Do the model kits scale well with the figuarts? Thinking of picking up 17 and 18 but don't want them to tower over my other figures.
