I got my Josuke and Soft & Wet today from YAJ and I'm pretty disappointed. I knew what to expect with these two when it came to functionality but it goes deeper than that. As seen in my picture there are a couple of paint errors that aren't too major bar S&W's neck that stick out to me. Worst of all though is the display stand has a snapped peg, the peg hole seems to be out of alignment too which is why it got snapped. How do I pull the peg out without damage and how do I search for a replacement? Or do I have to buy another figure to compensate?

My eyes are drawing themselves pretty strong on the head postion but that's just due to the neck in general since it stands out. Still, try to see what you can adjust on that.

I kind of feeling on putting Star Platinum more to the side of Jotaro so he's more in profile of the display. The bent right leg coming under his pointing arm throws it off for me also. Though I suppose it can be troublsome if you're keen on keeping that height on Star Platinum but need to keep him and Jotaro in the same base which is restrictive.

I hated Koichi when I first read the series and only came around to liking him when I watched the anime. In a series of badass men doing badass things I don't think it''s surprising that what is essentially Krillin isn't though of as fondly. But to the patrician mind you really start to appreciate Koichi's growth and how it's really his story.

Problem is Okuyasu is so fucking fun that it's hard not to love the guy even when he doesn't do shit.

I've read Part 4 and am early into Part 5 and I'm still not a big fan of Koichi. He's just so bland, Okuyasu is just a more entertaining character. I hope Koichi leaves soon so Giorno can interact with better characters.

Standalone KC blue has my favorite colour scheme of any SAS, but i feel like he needs a Diavolo second to really work. Paired with Diavolo i think both KC 1st and WF work perfectly so if you want to display Stand & User together it all comes down to your favorite look of the two.

Poor joints and bad paint apps. My Black Dio's leg snapped easily even though I treated him the same as any SAS and he posed okay when I got him in for a few days. There are good batches around but just be extra wary when you receive him and check the paint quality also.

SAS figures don't have the strongest joints, especially below the waist. However they're known for having some of the best paint deco in the scale range. They can paint transfer easily though

as for fixing it, as always use some furniture polish on the weak joints. For the paint just customize it if it bothers you that much, although I'd recommend just putting up with it

Popularity of the character, being close in color to the anime version of the stand, only getting one release since it's not the 1st colorway of the figure. I have the WF Red and Black one and all i can say is that the knees are terrible. On both of my figs the knees can get very loose and lose the pose. The Black one is garbage in terms of QC but the red isn't that bad.

Part 3 DIO does come with alot of accessories so he really is a good buy. I paid 30 USD for my Red one but if you lurk around YAJ you can find yellow DIO for cheap. Otherwise he is on HLJ but backordered. Don't pay beyond $55.

Diver Down and Annasui are probably the best combo of SAS when it comes to mutual posing. Sucks that the stand peg snapped off inside my DD but i should probably be able to fix it with superglue. They both deserve 2nds but part 6 didn't seem to show many stands on its volume covers so there aren't any official coloration to choose from.i think a pastel blue like Crazy diamond 1st or Star platinum 2nd would look amazing with its glossy finish.

One year ago, I decided to sell everything I had, from MOTUC to Marvel Legends to S.H Figuarts to Figmas and Revoltechs to start collecting JoJo.

I really enjoyed JoJo and I thought "Hey, muscular, tall men fighting with spirits - why I'm not collecting that yet?"

I sold all my toys except a Spike Spiegel Play Arts Kai that I enjoy pretty much and I started to collect JoJo SAS.

My first figure was Jotaro from AmiAmi. But at the time, I used to import all by myself and got taxed. So a 50 USD figure turned out to be 110 USD.

My second toy was my favorite character, Caesar Zeppeli. I bought it on eBay for 88 USD. More taxes, now 100 USD this time. I almost quit the collection!

But then I discovered proxies and bought three figures by it - Josuke (Pt 4), Giorno and Kira Yoshikage. In fact, Kira was my rarest toy. He was 11~13k yens everywhere I looked for. But then I found an obscure website selling it for 5,5k yens. I gave it a shot, and it came perfectly minus the watch.

Then I bought from a local toy store here Jo2uke, Rohan Kishibe and Joseph.

If I remember right RWBY has multiple main characters as the girls and I guess Medicos wanted to hit each girl that the name of the show references to. Pic related is what I managed to gather with Ruby obviously starting as "R" for the group.

YYH could hit Yusuke, Kuwabara, and the others but they can play it standard as a three tier release window. We're talking about Medicos here so odd choices can occur.

What the utter fuck has happened to Medicos in the last year or two?

I remember when a new announcement would be made pretty much on the second Monday of every month, you could almost set your watch by it.

I remember I would have the audacity to whine if the new announcement was a repaint instead of a brand new figure. If only I realised how much I was taking for granted.

Now we literally haven't gotten an annoucement in almost half a year, unless you count WonFes which aren't announcements of releases as much as they are "yeah, this thing will be made.. eventually" kind of announcements.

Now we're lucky to get more than two or three new figures a fucking year. Is Medicos tanking? Are they trying to slowly pull out of the game? What is the logic behind this madness.

Increasing costs maybe or possibly more choice decisions on what or who to release versus having new characters from each part/recolors every so often.

Recent decisions such as doing random IP's really scratches my head.

Some are actually solid releases but others are really lacking. Jojo has been a cash cow for them and honestly the recolors are what keeps me coming back right now but I guess things are getting more expensive to produce or maybe they are expanding other borders to try a new marketbase. That's just my observation anyway
