Where to buy
>GSC Online Shop - some figmas only are available through their online shop
>Amiami - usual place for buying, to some people, shipping is a bit higher due to packaging
>Hobby Link Japan shipping is usual lower, but their prices are a bit higher, private warehaouse is available
>Hobby Search Japan - items stay in stock the longest
>Mandarake - search figma or フィグマ
>eBay/Amazon - only if you hate having too much money. Avoid bootlegs, you can spot them as 'Chinese version'
>http://jungle-scs.co.jp/ - Seems like you can fine some good deals here
>Check the BST threads, My Figure Collection for any offer/deal

Has anybody made a 3rd party head for saitama?
do figmas still get affected by plasticizers?
>>6284097
>Who is your favorite Garupan?
Pic related.
All these grand characters are great and all........but I need some grunts for them to overcome, so many franchises to choose from for a arsenal of grunt figures hell they dont even need to get ip rights and could make their own series of grunt figures.
I liked the gurlukovich soldier figma but it was too expensive. Really want some grunts guys. I only collect figma/figuarts/revoltech and matching scale and articulation are important to me.
>>6284149
What are you complaining to us for? And what makes you think any other book is going to cost any less than the MSG one?
>>6284152
book? this is no complaint. This is a yearning.
1/12 tanks cheap never
>>6284152
reading comprehension and English just ain't your thing hey kid? get back to school!
Newfag here, what would you say is the best Figmas, the Must Haves?
And is the Rem one any good?
>>6284188
Billy Herrington
>>6284188
rem is not out yet.
I think Motoko Arise version, Saber 2.0 and miku 2.0 are the best figmas that appeal to the widest audience. There are some that I have that I like better than those, though. But motoko Arise is probably one of my favorites.
>>6284188
you need obligatory tit cows
>>6284108
there are basically no third-party anythings for figma except gun-holding hands
Don't know why I never thought to do this till recently, works very well.
Satzbatz has also seemed to go down in price on Mandarake, might finally grab it
>>6284188
pic related :^)
>>6284248
Gay, I just need a serious non yelling face or for Bandai to make a figuarts..
>>6284188
Solid Snake (Just watch out for the face).
Pyramid Head.
Samus.
Robocop (Again, great except for half the face).
Black Swordsman Guts.
Saber 2.0.
Is it better to preorder from Goodsmile directly or AmiAmi?
Assuming the figure has no exclusive preorder bonus.
I live in Australia if location matters.
>>6284359
If it has no bonus, AmiAmi.
>>6284359
Depends on how much shipping would be. If you're ordering only one or two figs, it probably isn't worth it, since GSC charges you a flat 2k yen for shipping and the price has no discount. No clue how expensive shipping is to Down Under though.
>>6284359
amiami usually has the cheapest PO discount. But GSC has a flat shipping rate so it all depends on what you're buying (how many items/how big it is)
Why does japan get all the cool shit?
>pic from futaba
>>6284406
But anon, there's almost nothing you can't import these days. We've come a long way. Search hard enough and I'm sure you can buy that.
>>6284355
I don't think they make 1/12 tanks. sure you nnot thinking of their 1/16 military line?
Was Celty delayed by a few days?
>>6284149
Dude, I don't even care who makes them I also want just standard ass tactical guys.
>>6284164
You seem to forget the Girls Un Panzer tanks.
>>6284428
I know they don't make 1/12 tanks (at least they do cars and bikes) the only option in that scale would be an RC tank
I got an Easter egg in the mail. I think it went bad in the heat.
So when will Samus be up tonight?
3am eastern?
>>6284564
I'd wager in an hour or two. GSC usually updates between 12-1pm JST.
>>6284564
>Bandai preorders
lol
Should be before midnight.
>this dull plastic
Pls no
>>6284564
the good smile US tweet literally says April 18th at 8 PM PST.
What accessories do you reckon will come with Prime 3 Samus?
Personally I think a scale Metroid will be a Goodsmile store preorder exclusive accessory.
KNOE rolled over from last thread.
Also just got figma Sinon rerelease. Bullshit how her RAH doesn't have the smiling faceplate.
>>6284597
That armor looks like clay.
>>6284406
Just search for "renault twizy 1/12", almost any 1/12 car/bike/whatever will work for figmas
>>6284604
Probably just what came with the Other M Figma.

Alright, I guess samus will wait until this evening to show.

I need to get this to match a watch I have with that print
>>6284739
I thought the same, anon
>>6284852

Pics?
Anyone spotted good deals on Kazuma Kiryu? His faces turned out awful as I expected but for some reason he's not binning and mandarake hasn't had him for a fair price. I don't wanna pay 5k yen for such a simple and ugly figma.
>>6284866
The announcement was via the Good Smile US Twitter so it's on the 18th there.
>>6284868
It's only 50 USD on amazon
>>6284868
>His faces turned out awful as I expected but for some reason he's not binning
It's because Yakuza merch is sparse.
>>6284868
I still can't believe how MF ruined him
>>6284870
50.61 versus 46+combined shipping at amiami is pretty much the same, anon. 4k yen is my limit for this crap.
so how long till they start announcing more Persona 5 stuff. 4 got whored out pretty hard and I need Makoto
>>6284873
They've never been good at realistic faces, but this time looks like they applied his eyes too high and uneven. His eyes are fairly big in the games, they could've gone with a semi-anime style.
>>6284889
Yeah I know, the only reason why I may eventually get him even at standard price. If another line like revoltech does him he'll be uglier. I want him to be in a bar with my other suit boys.
>>6284887
I won't be surprised to see more stuff next WF
>>6284887
I'd buy all of the Phantom Thieves
>>6284917
Id even by uniform and casual clothes variants. Especially her winter out fit. damns thats slick
>>6284896
Haven't even played the damn game, but I'm tempted to buy him strictly for the golden gun. It'd also be cool to have a decent suited body for headswaps.

If you just want a golden gun, you can pick up a NECA Duke Nukem for cheap and just use his gun.
>>6284962
I'm on the right time zone. GSC/AmiAmi usually reveal their new products in the afternoon (JST).
>>6284941
If you're after a golden gun then just get the 1/12 Realistic Handgun plated gold version.

Ahahaha holy shit, I knew those cunts would charge 6K+ after discount.
>>6285097
Does she even come with a blast effect? I'm only seeing the ball form and a piece for her blaster.
>>6285157
It's hard to tell, but I don't think there is a hole in either of her blaster barrels for anything to plug into.
>>6285157
I'm hoping she comes with a morph ball bomb or a power bomb or some missiles/super missiles.
Also, Chozo Statue/Torizo figma when
>>6285165
She's coming with less accessories than the Other M version and will cost 30% more.
And by god, you will LIKE IT.
Has anyone been paying attention to the price increases and the barebones releases? Or do people think the figma they're looking forward to will be the exception?
Well, I guess figma are dead to me now. See ya!
>>6285173
Of course they think their choice will be the magic cheap one.
I guess they could justify their pricing if the figures actually looked like their promo images in regards to any metallic paint, and the faces not look utter shit. Least it helps cut down the buying a figma because it looks cool.
>>6285173
My latest purchase was Kashima, who was actually more expensive than the 1/7 SaeKano scale GSC recently put up for pre-order. Really expecting prices to get higher as time goes I might as well just buy scales from now on.
>>6285097
Was the Other M Samus this big? Because this one looks huge next to that tiny stand.
>>6285097
Hoping this shelf warms so I can get it at a fair price. Almost 8k is absurd.
And how is the TP DX Link significantly cheaper yet comes with three times the accessories? Both are nintendo and LotZ is a much more popular franchise. How does GSC price these releases?
>>6285261
>metroid
>shelf warms
:^)
>>6285262
Other M was available for a long time due to frequent re-issues.
>>6285205
Nope, which is canon because lol different universes.
Prime Samus is like 6'5 in suit anon, whereas OM is like 6'1.
Because one of the many retarded things OM did was shrink Samus from 6'1 to 5'8 out of suit.
On top of y'know, like 6 years difference in release leading to presumably cheaper plastic costs and production allowing for larger figures to be produced from GSC.
>>6285283
It's mostly Figma and PAK who are price gouging jews.
Regular SH Figuarts releases have mostly remained around 4.6-5k, though they compensate for that by sticking a ton of releases behind an expensive exclusivity wall.
Enjoy your GSO exclusive faggots!

>>6285097
>literally just the figure itself, no accessories except an extra armgun/blaster piece
>$80 with shipping
HAHAHA, why am I not surprised at all.
Obviously they don't give two shits about their figma line anymore and would rather focus on their Nendoroids since they're much easier to design/engineer.
No wonder I haven't bought any new figma in the past 2 years.
>>6285320
nice photo is this your whole collection?
>>6285298
>assume people are full of shit about thumbs up hand being a web shop exclusive
>it actually is
Are you fucking kidding me? A fucking HAND that CAME WITH THE LAST RELEASE of all things? I mean sure, I am glad it's not the morph ball or something but come the fuck on. They seriously want this line to die don't they? There is no reason to be pulling this shit.
What they should have done is release a fucking DX version and made it locally distributed like Link. Not gimp the normal release to force people to use the web shop. I know they've been doing this for a while but this just seems so petty compared to so many other choices they've made.
>>6285366
Morph ball is a meh accessory and I wouldn't care about that either(it's easily interchangeable with the Other M ball).
The fact that they were too lazy to include a blast effect, when the old fig got two, is really activating my almonds though.
>>6284711
what franchise is this character from? will he be for the museum series if so does this mean that they maybe doing more than just paintings and sculptures?!
>>6285298
That just sums it all up right there. They clearly don't give two shits about this line anymore and want to see it become nothing but a "high end collector" line that has to sell minimal copies to turn a profit. 7,222 yen for a figure that comes with LESS than the 3,619 Other M version did. It's a joke.
They could have at least included an adapter piece so we could use effects from the previous fucking release but nah, that'd be too thoughtful.
>>6284696
hmm did. most things I found for sale are 1:18
>>6285352
I didn't get the first one and don't really have interest in the next one but I like this rifle and depending on paint apps I might get this one.

yes just started with figma recently. so far just waiting for Makoto(persona) Majima, Rem, Ram and Ryuko.
>>6285378
The one in the photo is 1/12, i think the prize was like 100€
>>6285378
>>6285382
If you preorder from the Good Smile store do you have to pay upfront and are you locked into buying the item?
>>6285298
When the first Samus was announced I about creamed my jeans for the prospect of a zero suit version. .. then years later the zero suit version came out and I was horribly underwhelmed. .. and now this.
They are systematically making me not care about figures I've been wanting since childhood.
>>6285390
You don't pay upfront, you pay a few days before it ships.
I've never had to cancel with them so I'm not sure about their policy on that, though,
>>6285390
> paying the full 7800 yen for a thumbs up hand
>>6285412
This wasn't about Samus.
I've just never ordered from the GS store before so I was curious if they're more leniant than AmiAmi.
>>6284597
Maybe they'll switch paint at the last minute?
>payment request
BABY BABY BABY BABY BABY
for those that got both Link figmas I got a request; swap the heads
i wanna see how weird they look
>>6285373
I think the same company that handles the Museum line is also doing him. However he is not stated anywhere that I have seen to be officially part of the Museum line.
He is a stage hand, a background worker on traditional Japanese plays who the audience is supposed to ignore and pretend is not actually there.
>>6285298
It's been a long time since I played Prime 3. Does she give a thumbs up in that one? Can't recall any important scenes in which in happens. Seems more like a M:OM thing.
>>6285421
Cant wait for mine it really works well with D-Arts personas.
>>6285290
>presumably cheaper plastic costs
Chemical based material prices are hand in hand with the price of crude (because source material for everything that isn't shit quality or even more expensive than polycarbon based).
Plastic has been steadily rising in price for years now due to oil prices. See graph, it's the producer price index (raw material price per unit) for commodity rubber and plastic products averaged as a whole. (excuse quality just looking at freely available data). The peak you see was when gas was nearing $5 a gal at the pump and has dropped since but overall it's still high and will only continue to climb as overall volatility continues.
2011 was the historic high and from a producer standpoint raw materiel orders are made months if not years ahead of actually being needed so price paid by them is done on cost projections done way in advance. I would wager the material sellers have not dropped prices much at all in fear of price going high again leaving them losing on profit or outright taking losses.
While numbers from china are unreliable as shit their supplier reports corroborate price increases expected year after year since 2010 at least.
Does this explain why GSC are jewing everyone? Not entirely no, but I just wanted to point out that plastics (pvc style plastics anyway) are not in any way shape or form getting cheaper as time goes on. In fact it's the opposite and following the trend will only get worse unless alternative materials get better and cheaper in coming years.

>>6285494

>tfw you collect SAS
I mean the paint and sculpt are great and the articulation in recent releases is really good but damn they are 7k now
>>6285520
Pretty brutal anon.
>>6285512
I didn't say it has an actual significant impact, all I wanted to point out was that no the prices are not going down.
On some level there will always be an accounting for material cost though, whatever that may be. Without their books no one could tell you how it impacts their consumer end prices directly, but if you expect a company to willingly swallow any costs in a niche market not based on mass sale quantities you're delusional.
>>6285528
Good thing the Jojo releases are so fucking spread out through the year now

amiami
I completely understand the negative reaction to P3 Samus's price, which is in line with the kind of bullshit tihs company has been pulling off. So if the figure fails to sell enough units and most anons don't get it, it's divine justice.
That being said, this is Metroid we're talking about, which is one of my all time favorites franchises. To make it even worse/better, it's from my favorite game in the prime series. I'm quite happy with the two previously released figmas from Other M so unfortunately while I'd like to "vote with my wallet" and pass on this until these new releases have decent accesories that try to at least justify the new prices, I'm stuck with buying it.
If only SHF, Revo or any other worthwhile line had an alternative, I would consider it...but if you like Samus and a good product, it's either get fucked in the ass by GSC or nothing.
>>6285511

The prices on that Samus Figma is fucking rediculous. That said, I'm still gonna keep an eye out on amiami for it since they seem to give pretty good discounts on pre-orders. So I'll wait to see what amiami prices ot at before fucking off.

you should also post that in the sas thread. The custom Kira is looking nice as others said in the other thread.
>>6285680
> prefer ordering at HLJ but their figma discounts are shit
Uh...have you actually been paying attention to the prices? The recent batch of figma that went up are only ¥400-450 cheaper at AmiAmi. The batch before that were in the ¥600-650 cheaper range and the batch before that were ¥700-800 cheaper but that was like 6-8+ months back.
Got my payment request from AmiaAmi for 4 figma today and it was ¥3700 via EMS. Same exact order at HLJ would be about ¥2740 via EMS. A slightly bigger order at HLJ would save you even more because discount EMS + no mountains of worthless paper. I say worthless because AmiAmi the past 4 orders has only put tons of paper on top where it's useless and not nearly enough at the sides where it's useful.
Simply put...even earlier this year when prices were better you were literally saving ¥400-ish tops, the current batch of stuff that went up you are saving about ¥200-ish tops. If you buy anything from Bandai or Kaiyodo you are saving NOTHING at AmiAmi, actually losing money in some cases.
>Is there literally any other Japanese webstore that has decent customer service and lets you cancel shit without a hassle?
No, HLJ is the best. Hobby Search lets you cancel but it's a very small window shortly after ordering. All the rest either frown on cancellations, have penalties or have no cancellations at all.
>>6285601
Why does the toyline matter if you were excited about the character? If it was another line, would you care? Why?
So am I just retarded or have the Samus preorders not opened yet? Amiami has nothing. Wasn't it supposed to go up on april 18th?
>>6285823
Not that guy but negative perception and bad behavior from a company can sour the mood on both new releases and old releases. You can be excited a character is getting a release like Gwendolyn but then be furious the wings they've been advertising it as having all along are some web shop exclusive DX edition that is overpriced to boot AND has an exclusive face. Something that would have cost $80-ish at normal shops is now $110-130+ instead. Gets even worse when directly compared against what other lines are offering for lower prices. In the case of Gwendolyn it's a god damn joke how much more the Parfom comes with for a price lower than the standard release figma.
There is also the realization that a line you loved has now become unaffordable and impossible to justify continue collecting which is depressing to a lot of people. This can dampen the mood on stuff you already own and figures that are still getting released at semi-fair prices in the upcoming months.

At least Bandai's exclusivity makes sense.
Max Factory are more times than not just "annoying". A little accessory piece for 2000+ yen? The offer doesn't match the price tag or the name tag.
>>6286320
What's the exclusive then
>>6286315
The flat-rate shipping is honestly the worst part. If it was just full MSRP with regular shipping options I'd be okay with it, but being forced to add 2k for a single figma is pure jewery.
Although at least they actually ship here. Fuck P-Bandai.
>>6286324
>Nah, nothing.
So there's nothing extra for ordering from GSC? Bullshit
http://www.goodsmile.info/en/product/6390/figma+Samus+Aran+PRIME+3+ver.html
Samus has no exclusive afterall.
>>6286330
Has no accessories either.
>>6286330
fuuuuuuuuuuuuuck where's the amiami page
>>6286315
The problem with figma exclusivity is:
1. The difference is usually a tiny accessory. Sometimes important but still an accessory, not a whole figure.
2. The flat rate shipping of 2000 yen is useless for any order less than 2-3 figures.
3. Charging full MSRP AND Japanese sales tax even to foreigners they have no right to collect tax from
Bandai exclusives are truly made to order releases of potentially shelf warming characters funded solely by people who want it. These releases wouldn't exist outside of being exclusives in most cases (minus a few BS releases like Kuuga Ultimate) or without the help of other countries markets like with DBZ.
At the end of the day GSC exclusives come off as petty little jabs taken at true fans outside of Japan because they are the ones who end up paying so much more than necessary. Customers in Japan pay full MSRP sure but shipping is cheaper and they already pay taxes. It's the foreigners who essentially have to pay an extra 600+ yen in taxes and then an extra 800+ yen on shipping on top of the extra due to no discounts. The partner shops apparently get a shit deal too because Gwendolyn DX should have cost $90-ish tops but all the international partner shops were charging upwards of $120+
>>6286328
At least it doesn't have a cool exclusive that you can't get without using a middle man service because the figure didn't go on the internation store due to licensing issues.
;-;
>>6286330
I can't even begin to believe that it has absolutely no projectile accessories. What the fucking fuck
>>6286330
>the arm cannon is made to be swappable
>could have easily included a piece so the effect parts from Other M could be used here
>would have barely increased the cost but they didn't
I've never been so angry. I mean I was expecting it to come with it's own effect parts but if you aren't going to give us effect parts then at least make it compatible with the effect parts we already have.
I'm sorry but even Dorothy came with more accessories.
Motherfucking DOROTHY.
Seriously, what the fuck?
Why do people love turning into such fucking Jews?
>>6286348
I was about to say whatever, but that is actually fairly disappointing. The original used a 3mm hole that was comparable with a lot of accessories from other lines.
>>6286371
Just blutack effect parts into the blaster hole.
Problem solved.
You guys complain too much.
>>6286349
Dorothy is a better character from a superior series
>>6286375
No one should have to do that at this price point. If this were a $40 release then MAYBE you could make that argument. At $70 fucking dollars I expect them to either include effect parts or an adapter piece of some kind.
>>6286375
Well considering how fucking expensive the figure is for absolutely no reason, and as consumers, I think we have every right to complain.
>>6286375
Yeah, I started using blu-tack recently and it's the shit. It's not the end of the world, just a little annoying.
>>6286330

>>6286390
>not ordering from HLJ and waiting to see what happens with the exchange rate closer to the release date
Depending on what happens I will either cancel it or keep my PO. If the exchange rate is awesome and it's $55-60 then I will get it. If the exchange rate goes to shit and it's $70-80 then I will cancel it because it's not fucking worth that. Even at $55-60 it's really pushing the limit of being overpriced for what it is.
>>6286390

t. Poorfag
Okay guys, I just got her Figma the other day and I tried changing out her hands but the wrist peg wouldn't disconnect from her hand slot, instead her entire wrist joint detached from her arm when I try to remove the hand. This seems to be an issue only for her left hand as I managed to remove her right hand properly. It's especially difficult because she's package with splayed open hands and those are a tad more difficult to grab a hold of them closed fists since I have to contend with her very small fingers and not damaging them
What should I do? Any suggestions?
>>6286429
Pull the joint out of the hand and put it back in the arm, jackass.
There's nothing special about it, you just do it
The price for Samus is actually acceptable on Amiami.
6280.
19% off.
That being said..
>Morph ball.
>No effect parts.

There isn't even a way to use the old ones.
>>6286438
I don't get the hate on getting a morph ball, someone redpill me
>>6286438
Maybe i'm retarded, but I always want a matching morphball. She's in that form for a good portion of each game.
That said, we didn't have to choose from one or the other last time. We got both.
This figure looks a lot nicer with all the transparent green bits though.
>>6286307
Yeah, 1/12 cars are a bit expensive (specially if you don't collect cars) a better option are bikes
I'm honestly most curious about how much they've improved the articulation in the last couple years. The other m one was an alright attempt at a fairly difficult design, but it was still pretty clunky.
I'd love it if they managed to work in some better neck articulation, this shot looks promising but it's probably 80% perspective trickery.
>>6286434
The problem isn't that I don't know how to remove the hand from the joint, the problem is that the hand/joint connection is exceedingly tight. I want to know how to loosen it and I don't have, nor know where to find, shock oil or eve if that would be useful here.
>>6286455
It actually is, the visor is supposed to be looking completely to the front, although you can only go so far with 3D collision magic
>>6286455
They specifically pointed out that they improved neck articulation in their official blog post thing. So they've done SOMETHING to improve it, not sure how meaningful it'll actually be in practice but that's what they said anyway.

Paint issues aside, their recent Iron Man posed pretty well and can actually do the "Iron Man pose" rather convincingly. And with Samus having a thinner frame than an IM suit, I'd imagine the crouching pose could very well be possible.

There is no hate for the ball coming from anyone but the triggered nintendofags who already bought the OM version and like to be the loud minority when nothing goes 110% their way
semi recent examples
>LBTW DX easily accesible because it was distributed to just about everywhere(now shelfwarming thanks to that) yet they still complained about it being an "exclusive" and "forced to buy it from the GSC shop" even though you really didn't have to, but they jumped the gun anyway
>TP Link's face and body type
>looks too anime not skinny enough too jacked wahh wahh and proceeds to completely ignores the fact the DX version is so cheap compared to recent figma
>Early protos of P3 Samus
>threads and posts dedicated to desperately "fixing the figure" really letting autism run rampant
The price and minimal accessories are the only real complaints atm
>>6286507
>>6286513
Well to be fair the prototype was pretty ugly
So how many of you will fork out all those sheckels for an overpriced figure just to be buttblasted about the paint aps being nowhere near as good as in promo shots (like with every metalic-looking figma)?
>>6286471
I said acceptable, not fantastic.
It is acceptable because that is pretty average for a Japanese figure nowadays.
>>6286513
I just think the morphball is a terrible accessory that most people will never display since it requires a stand to stay in place and it looks awkward doing anything.

No, it's PAK tier pricing, even by import standards.
Revo Venom is 7800yen before discount, and that figure is much more bulky and still comes with a decent spread of accessories. I have a hard time believing you are gonna find other 1/12 figures that make this thing's "value" look average.

>>6286610
600 yen higher than AmiAmi which is a shame, was hoping for 400 yen like other recent stuff.
Still with cheaper shipping factored in it will only cost me about 300 yen more or so with the ability to cancel. AmiAmi has been screwing me on shipping lately, overpriced AND poorly padded.
>>6286625

For an extra $5.50 I'll take HLJ's order combination system to be honest.
>>6286460
>>6286429
Follow this anon's >>6286466 advice, just dip the tight part in hot(not boiling) water for a couple of mins and try and see if you can now remove it gently. if you can't still remove it, dip it again for a few mins and try again. Alternatively, you can use hot air from a hairdryer but it's riskier since you can deform certain parts of the plastic if you leave it for a long duration so just do the how wter trick istead.

Middle of the road. Not awful, not amazing. You can probably tell just by looking at pictures she doesn't have a waist joint and her neck is sculpted with the chest to keep the sculpt smooth. This pissed a lot of people off because it limits the poses you can do.
>>6286513
>>LBTW DX easily accesible because it was distributed to just about everywhere(now shelfwarming thanks to that) yet they still complained about it being an "exclusive" and "forced to buy it from the GSC shop" even though you really didn't have to, but they jumped the gun anyway

>>6286694

She's even better than the nendo in terms of accessories (unless you wanted that nipper stand) and pretty even in terms of quality expression.

Fellows of fine taste right there.
Best bet is for them to come after Apocrypha, or even Heaven's Feel (quite possibly all its movies).
Martha is pretty well liked and of course Altera more so thanks to Extella, but anime/movie series > mobage/spin-off game, naturally.
As King Damas would say:
Patience is a warrior's greatest weapon.
>>6287167
Miku 2.0. She's a solid first figma choice and feels very complete! The music theme is represented in a simple, but sublime way. Plus angelic wings!
-Dear Gilgatrash is ultimately a villain one comes to love (to hate)
-Iona is her movie form which is fantastic, but not as iconic
-Hibiki is in her personal, but still specific-to-a-performance outfit
-UKYOCheer Miku is fantastic, but not the truest form of the character
I could talk about my fantastic first time buying her, but that's probably over-blogging. We'll see if any of my P.O.s exceed her though.
So I found a guy selling an opened but never displayed Madoka figma for 19 euros: the catch is that apparently it's a set that came without the standing base and extra hands.
Is there even a place where I can find exactly her hands? And what about generic hands/standing bases?
>>6287167
Triangle head because he has a really great sculpt and even though the colouring is off on his body he still looks great. Bought him at a great price and was really impressed with the amount of accessories so you can pretty much do anything pyramid head did in sh2 which great.
He also stands out in any collection and is the pride of my collection however his articulation is a little limited which is to be expected due to his apron. I really should get another pyramid head so I can recreate his final scene but to make it REALLY authentic I guess I would need a James Sunderland and Maria figma and like thats ever going to happen! I do really hope for a James figma so very much.
What's with the little paper bases you can pop out of a figma box's background? I take it they're related to the DI:Stage in some way?
>>6287167
I'll still put Ninja Slayer on top. He's been fun to pose, the accessory count really helps on changing up a display when I want to, and the torn up scarf option is still my favorite piece to display even when I do settle on him eating with SatzBatz Knight.
>>6287366

No me, mate. Tired of spreading my ass for their micro japanese wangs.

I would rather have that than the prior one, but its not a big enough upgrade for me to actually replace mine. I probably would have if we were still living under old figma pricing.
I'm sorry for sounding like a broken record, but damn Figmas are getting alittle cost prohibitive. I know Gilgamesh and Mumei come with a lot of accessories, but 8000 plus is a lot when I want just the figure. A lite/deluxe edition might be cool

That smiling faceplate again. Goddamn it's mocking me.
Medicom would jump gun and make RAH Matou Sakura without any figma molds to reference but couldn't be bothered to create a larger version of Sinon's smiling face? Fucking unbelievable. None of her other faceplates work well with cute dresses or bikinis.
