What I wouldn't do for another solid mega man game release. At least the toy situation is better than it ever was
>>6274867
I wish. I only have figs from the NT Warrior series:
HeatGuts Style MM- Missing big hand and red missile
Protoman- Missing Wide sword
Virus Attack CrossFusion MM- Missing Virus
Magnet man
Windblast Man- Missing a fan
and a DoubleSoul TorchSoul figure with none of the blue Megaman parts that I found in a loose figure bin at a card shop for $1

Took these just now

Nice shot. Reminds me of that one part with that pose from the 8 intro

thanks m8
OP here. Just added these three beauties to the collection. Not sure yet, but I'm gonna assume that they're all missing their blue MM parts as well, with exception to the left arm on SearchSoul (since the seller's yet to ship them). Guts and Search seem to be missing their missiles too, from what it looks like.
Good thread. I dont have an updated photo of my collection so I'll post it later. Gonna dump my shitty photos.
Looking forward to those blind box figures that I saw at Toy Fair.
>when the games were out

I'm enjoying the nice toys now, but I really do miss the games.

i liked the exe toys
i remember an anon posted the battle network panel print out for the megaman stand
Has the Nel X been released?
It's sad when some of the only "toy" versions of characters comes from the recent Mega Man board game that seemed to die on impact after one Oil Man/Time Man expansion set.

>>6278852
One of my local D&D game shops had a few of those loose for sale on display, that Yellow Devil was tempting as fuck, but not for $20
>>6276125
>>6276245
I found we got more variety with the EXE toys we got here, Japan got during that whole run only got a sea of Rockman repaints (figures and model kits), Blues and Bass along with only 3 sets of small pvcs and the PET/Chip toys.
We got a full 6 inch line with interchangable parts of not only Mega Man and Protoman, but also a bunch of Robot Masters for over 4 different waves and different styles. Not to mention multiple PVC sublines, 12 inch figures, board games, our own version of the PET toys which were region free.
It was one of those few times we did better then Japan
>>6278852
those figures quality look low quality... still want
Does/did anyone collect the Ruby-Spears figures? I just have Mega Man i got for cheap almost a decade ago
>>6276712
I saved it.
OP here. My figures finally came in and they have their boots! I was honestly astonished. And only paid about $5 each.
>>6280073
Ain't they great. And there is tons of Robot Masters and swappable parts too. It's a great line
>>6280088
These are honestly my favorite. My mom never bought me these when I was younger. I probably would've lost the parts back then anyway

>X sells out while Rock and EXE shelfwarm
>some anons believe that Volnutt won't sell out and won't be scalped to hell
Forgot about these.
>>6274794
As shitty as Jazwares is, the Mega Man stuff they put out after about 2004 was actually pretty nice. Decent articulation, fairly accurate sculpts, and they even had shooting projectiles. As a kid these figures were really nice to get when I wasn't able to get my hands on the Bandai kits. Only problem with the later Jazwares figures was that the knee swivels on some of them tended to break.
Thank you for the nostalgia blast, OP. That period between 2003 and 2006 or so was a really good time as a Mega Man fan, where you had both the Jazwares and Mattel figures available at the same time.
>>6274904
4-inches tall is a deal breaker.
>>6284514
So anyone have this? What is the overall quality?
>>6286118
Can't expect much from 500 yen figures. Classic seems to be the stinker looks-wise, the others seem decent.

I've got Volnutt in the mail, might review him when I get him 2 months from now.
Got these little guys in today. Pretty cool. They are tiny though.

It's not a phone game you plebian.
>>6296040
He didn't say phone game he said mobile game, as in "it's playable on a portable, not a home console".
>>6296362
When someone is talking about mobile games, they usually mean mobile phone games. Also, the DS is a console.
>>6296390
Right sure, but I'm not trying to argue, I'm just clearing up what they said so the thread doesn't stay derailed. Notice I said home console because that's what's being implied when talking mobile vs console.
Really gotta appreciate all the love the blue bomber had been getting recently.
>>6274794
>tfw genuinely want the Ruby Spears figures more than any other

>>6299533
You didn't even look.
>>6274913
Oh hey that's me.
>>6301434
Those Rush modes and Cutman were hope. It sucks that Starforce is going to kill this line.
>>6301465
I actually like how Starforce looks even though I've never played the game.
I do hope Sentinel makes more beyond Starforce, though, though I'm not sure what they would tackle next. Megaman Zero hopefully, I guess?
>>6301497
lol That is sadly true about Megaman Zero. But hey, this line from Sentinel has covered 5 different series so far... So it seems promising that we'll see some more stuff. I hope.
Though to be honest, besides Megaman Zero I'm not sure what other series I'd like them to cover. Maybe some other characters from the series they've already done, hopefully.
>>6301497

Four. Jazwares, Kotobukiya kits, D-Arts/Figuarts, and Gigantic Series.
Will we get proto man? Would like one for battlenetwork since there's so many megaman battle network figures.
love this little guy
>>6301501
We need a fucking Protoman, can't be that hard to make.
>>6303238
The matte colors and shorter, softer proportions do look a lot better imo.
>>6294413
This should satisfy the twelve Star Force fans.
>>6295674
Starforcefags deserve something at least, let them be happy.
>>6303243
Soon.
What characters do you guys want honestly? For me I would love wily, skullman, protoman, and tron.
>>6303288
For the potential next wave of 66 action MM figs i'd love to see a 'rivals' wave with Protoman, Zero, Protoman.exe, Megaman Zero, and ZX
That or jump headfirst into robot masters
>>6301434
>>four Megamans and three Battle Networks
Man I'd love a MMX repainted in like Homing Torpedo colors or something or even the MMX2 armor.
>>6303288
>What characters do you guys want honestly?

>Bass.EXE
>Protoman.EXE
>Serenade.EXE
>Tomahawkman.EXE
>Roll.EXE
>Bug Style
>Gregar Cross
>4-inch-scaled Ride Armor
>Super Bass
>Chill Penguin
>>6301497
They died because they always got proportions wrong. Only the fan made Harvest Wks got it all right.
>>6301509
Don't tease my heart, I'd kill for a Copy X even if it kills a line.
>>6303296
I, too, would really like to see more style changes of Megaman.exe. Wood Shield style was p. cool and so is Bugs. Also a Bass Cross or Gregar/Falzar would be welcome, too.
I'm so torn on X. Obviously the D-Arts X scales better with the Nel Mega Man, but wouldn't the D-Arts look strange being the only figure a whole head taller than the three other Mega Man figures from Nel (Classic, EXE and Trigger)?
I'm probably thinking about this too much.
>>6303787
Can't wait to see how baby size they make this one's arm buster.
>>6303787
Proportions are eh and the design is a little too TruForce... but the idea of an X body with swappable armors is kind of cool. I mean, if they do the X1-X3 armors and not the purple thing from X5.
>>6303335
X is always suppossed to be the "adult" Megaman in my mind, while EXE, trigger, and star Force or all expys of the original, "kid/teen" Megaman, so him being taller is just fine to me.
>>6303787
>>6 different MMX figures released or coming out and still no perfect one
>>6303296
>Bass.EXE
>Protoman.EXE
>Serenade.EXE
>Tomahawkman.EXE
>Roll.EXE
muh nigga
also if we could get viruses like the ones that came with the exe toys
>>6303894
The True Force one is perfect to me. It probably my favorite design out of then all.
>>6303784
>>6303787
are we getting model kits again?!
>>6280328
>>6303787
That looks pretty good, even if its probably a really early prototype.
>>6303787
We better get some other characters for this line, I need more vile figures.
I like how the thighs look very similar to the original model kits. If this is an actual revival of the old armor kits, I hope they pump out releases as fast as they do for the dbz figure-rise.
>>6303784
>>6303787
>After 20 years of waiting, the legendary series returns.
Was the Mega Armor series really that prolific? I never knew anyone else that knew about these models.
If this is anything like the Ganso SD revival, expect this to be all web exclusives. Hopefully Bluefin will make these regular releases like they did for the D-Arts series. I'm still excited.
Mega Man Figures I still want
>Vile
>Copy X
>Biometal Z
>Biometal X
>Biometal ZX
>Servbot
>Protoman
>Protoman.exe
>Bass
>>6279409
Cut Man has a bulge and a buttcrack. I don't care if it's a reused mold - it gets me every time.
I sometimes see Snake Man on Ebay but he's one of the more expensive ones.
>>6305466
all i want is Proto Man. I can live without Roll, just imagine Dr Light/Wily, and repurpose other toys or to be Robot Masters
>>6303787
To be honest it looks like pure fragile shit just like the cloth myths
>>6305760
>Saint Cloth Myth
Where the hell is that comparison coming from? SCM figures are fragile due to their chrome and metal, neither of which I see being present on these Giga Armor models.
Shitty old picture. Added a lot since then.

They're not much, but they're mine.

Looks pretty cool.
>>6303787

>>6306773
Digging all the extra detail, can't stand the proportions. I've never been a fan of that style, so it's just my own personal bias.
>>6306884
That was my thought too. They look like the old SNES game sprites, and they're robots, so, why not?

>>6308100
This one to me is a tad much, it looks like a corner of a dirty comic book store or one of those poorly organized vintage toy stores no one buys anything from.
Anyways, where was this shit ever sold? I know of all the japanese model kits and toys, but I never have seen any of these english megaman toys ever on the shelves of toy stores here in NA, well apart from the NT Warrior stuff and the old tv show toys.
>>6307638
I think I have a better collection than that. The trick is to use Mandarake and yahoo.jp auctions.
Nowhere near as good as >>6308100, but I have some stuff he doesn't/didn't.
>>6308135
I remember seeing them at Toys R Us around the time that NT Warrior was on the shelves, and CVS got the last wave with MMZ Zero and Command Mission X. I also remember the packs of tiny Classic and X figurines showing up single-carded at Dollar General.
>>6274904

which one of you guys decided to sell their shit?
>>6308856
Given how rare and expensive it is now, it was very likely a mistake to have thrown it out due to my own personal dissatisfaction... But at the same time, it's Jazwares so even with an easy fix up, it probably wasn't a worthwhile kit either.
Even so, the Gaea armor is my favorite look for X, which is definitely something we're not going to be seeing again any time soon...
>>6311509
I've got the Blade Armor kit that Jazwares made. You did the right thing.
>>6311509
As shitty as these things were, I regret not picking up the Blade Armor when it was available. The only reason I have my Gaia Armor is because my friend got it for me as an attempt to make up for accidentally breaking the shoulder of my Rockman 8 Ironbuster kit. You can imagine how disappointed I was at the time.
It's funny how much the early Jazwares figures ripped off the Mega Armor models. IIRC, the sculpt for the hands were directly copied from the MA figures. I remember reading somewhere that the reason why the first wave of Jazwares figures were so goofy looking was because the company they originally hired to do the sculpting bailed on them them at the last minute, forcing Jazwares to go with some shitty second rate company. That would explain why the prototypes on the backs of the boxes looked much nicer than the final figures. I'll see if I can find the source for this.
>>6311760
>I regret not picking up the Blade Armor when it was available
I'll sell you mine for, say, $30 shipped if you're in the US. I accidentally bought it a few years ago from an Amazon seller who took a bad picture of the box and listed it as the Bandai Force Armor. I put it together and immediately packed it away. I'm pretty sure it's in its original box right now, too.
>>6290780
D-Arts is properly proportioned. Classic Mega Man is SUPPOSED to be small. Pic related is D-Arts X and D-Arts Classic standing next to each other.
>>6303870
You're close, but not quite. X and Volnutt are both the same age and teens. All the rest are grade-school age.

>>6311484

>>6311509
I had that model kit and the thing fell apart so easily and just sucked big time. Hated Jazzwares Mega Man crap >:(
>>6308856
Rockman 8 Iron Buster model kit, I believe. Lost the head to him super early on as it rolled down my neighborhood street. That was one of the saddest moments of my childhood.
>>6311983
I think the cost of recasting it would be the same as what you could buy an original for.
>>6311995
>That does not even look remotely close to being worth $1800 lol
Yeah especially as most of it isn't even sealed lol.
>>6311779

>>6313100
I like your set up, it's a little crowded.
>>6274794
Does anyone have quickman? Can you post pics of him?
>>6313225
I'll get some risers soon but yes, it's kinda crowded. I kinda enjoy it tho.
Here is a poses I did.
How will the beat this monster?!
HE'S UNSTOPPABLE!
4 heroes stand to face an enemy.
Fuck...
Destruction everywhere!
Woops. Forgot the pic!
Eh, the others weren't Mega Man related so I did this.
Sometimes I wish Nendoroids came with "normal" heads this almost looks like the sprite/game art.
OP here. Got my first Jazwares figure the other day. (He's technically my second, but Bass is missing practically everything.) I was gonna be a noob and only get the Mattel/NT Warrior stuff, but decided to branch out and try the other series too. This guy's pretty badass. Especially with his guns. Ten inches of pure goodness
>>6316323
>3.64 MB, 5312x2988
For what purpose?
>>6317191
Camera phone defaulted to it. But you are correct.
>>6317043
>Ten inches
to me, Axl became a more likeable character than X since his debut...and we get stuck with that shit figure. i wish i could like him like you do though
>>6303288
As a Classicfag, I want Roll, Wily, Proto Man, Duo, Auto, and Bass... but then I realize this line is strict as fuck about figures being 4-inches regardless of scale, so forget about most of those and just give me Roll, Proto Man, and Bass.
>>6311779
Just got it in the mail. Thanks again, anon. Turns out the waist and ankles were misassembled. When I swapped these parts the "right" way, the chest and waist parts actually fit together better with no gaps, thus allowing the hip armor to stay on as it should. I don't blame you for misassembling this guy though, considering how absymal the instructions are.
>>6319760
Ah, interesting. I just chalked it up to Jazwares being Jazwares.
>Thanks again, anon.
No problem. Hope you enjoy him.

>>6321293
M'kay. Maybe I'm out of the loop - is there something wrong with Figma? Like, bad face sculpt, poor quality control (lol jizwares)?
>>6322586
They are remarkably bad when it comes to masculine faces of any kind, bulky characters, and armored characters. And have been creeping up their prices while giving people less with more recent releases, at least from non-Free!ing sculpted figmas. Sigma would be a hot mess from them, along with anything non-classic series.
And even then, they'd still be lacking. We'd be better off with D-Arts coming back to life and that should hopefully say alot.
>>6322586
I meant that someone was actually pointing a gun to his head.

I have Mega, he's scratched as all hell cause he was my main man as a kid. Always wanted Snake Man though...
I want some more info about the new model kit line.
When's the next tamashii event?
is the sentinel line dead??
>>6332290
Too soon to say. They still have an upcoming release (Voltnutt) so we'll see what happens after that.
>>6332290
Not yet. Volnutt and Star Force are coming out this year.
>>6279496
Hey coo, someone saved it. I was thinking about making more. Recoloring it blue is super easy, but i was thinking maybe doing the level select for classic, or the highway for X.
What do you guys think? Any ideas or requests?
>>6333287
can you post the blue tile? also idk if you can also do the highway green pillars from the first level of x?
>>6333292
Yeah lemme get on my PC. The one that anon posted is my color variant one. I have the correct game pallette version too, but it looks washed out in hand compared to a GBA screen. Did you want that too?
Also not sure how to do the pillars. You're talking about the ones you wall jump up right? I'm mainly focused just on the floors at the moment.
>>6333310
cool m8
my bad, I posted the game colors before, so that's the one posted earlier.
this is Red (green floor version)
>>6333321
Blue (game colors)
>>6333326
nice
>>6333326
Blue (Green floors)
Alright, I'm a huge X fan, and I've got a strong desire to expand my roster of "maverick hunters." Are there any toys you folks have or can suggest that somewhat fit the Megaman X aesthetic?
I've got this on preorder as a female hunter/operator, but I'd love to get a larger roster.
Muh childhood!
Anyone here actually bought the 4inch Nel Lan fig with the extra accessories for Rockman.exe?
>>6333399
Darius games have HUGE BATTLESHIPS in the shape of marine life, and the latest iteration of its iconic Fossil boss is getting a figma this August.
... Shame about that stupid price though, I was hoping to build a roster of these guys myself but it'd take a miracle now for anything to follow him up...
>>6333812
... Moving onto another aquatic robot design and something waaay more affordable, here's the slightly surreal looking Hambrabi from Zeta Gundam.
>>6333791
Yep. Worth it.
>>6333844
>>6333812
Damn you're not kidding. These look ripped right out of the X series! A lot of the more eccentric Gundam definitely fit that Maverick look, so I've definitely looked into those.
Another great series of figures (or in this case models) that fit that are the LBX/Danball Senki robots. I mean, just look at this shit. This is a straight up X3-6 Maverick Intro Pose
>>6333862
Zeta and Victory Gundam are definitely the series to dig for the crazy cool looking mobile suits. Unfortunately, the latter wasn't much of a hit in its day so merch for it is limited.
Also, while this isn't the board for vidya discussion, I highly recommend giving Darius Gaiden a go in MAME. I was a big MMX fan as a kid too and I felt right at home with Darius despite the genre jump. TONS of stage and boss choices to keep you coming back, especially for a shoot em up!
>>6333862
that's the only LBX i kept in my collection. it was in a 3-pack
>>6333970
My fiance picked me up this for my birthday. Its mobility is kind of limited, but I love this thing's design.
Evil Jester is always a fun villain, and this thing screamed Sigma lackey to me.
I definitely recommend LBX stuff to X fans for some of these designs. They fit that maverick look, and if you're a stickler for scale, they actually scale quite well with the D-Arts figures.
>>6334011
I was going by the D-Arts scale. I love the look of the Nel X and all of its features, but I love how much the d-arts line had. I've been collecting those as my X line and with the Giga Armor series coming out I'll be switching to that as they are rumored to be same scale as the d-arts line.
>>6333854
Why is he so expensive? He doesn't even have articulation.
>>6337802
limited release
Contributing a pic of my collection
>>6308856
mega man X3 gold hyper armor
but I fucked it all up for some reason
>>6308856
the Ultimate Armor kit. Deep in my heart i still think that one transcends any of the D/FIguarts that came out in recent years. Being a model kit, i could easily switch in/out his armor parts for the double the fun.
October
>>6340701
I wonder if it's going to come with one of the armor sets or if they are going to sell them all separately as P-Bandais.
>>6340701
Looks great, here's hoping we get some of the more obscure armors.
I'm assuming its a general release, but is there any other info other than the picture on the front page of tamashii.jp?
>>6340701
looks like shit
>>6340701
>超合金
>chogokin
FUUUUCK
This is going to be stupid expensive isn't it? I thought it was going to be around the same size as the D-arts?
>he guys, let's license out the same 4 Mega Man characters and have them get manufactured by everyone
Being a mega man fan is suffering.
How long do you guys think this line will last?
>>6340701
Nice!
>>6340850
It won't if they price it similar to any of the other Chogokin crossover lines.
Now I just need a Roll w/ Data, Gramps, Tiesel, Tron, 39 more Servbots, Professor Tron, Naked Roll, Juno and a pig (or dog).
>>6341270
Net Roll would be nice as well. I mean, I got her model kit but 66Action sure would be convenient... provided she doesn't have a retardedly large head. Which sadly, she probably would.
Oh, and a naked Tron too.
Jakks Pacific worker fag here
We just confirmed 100% the license for the new Mega Man cartoon's toys.
Enjoy us for the next 2 years.
>>6341315
>Jakks
>new Mega Man cartoon's toys
So nothing of value was lost or even gained in this situation.
>>6340701
>Chogokin
Huh. I'm >>6305827 and it looks like I was wrong about there being no metal. I'm guessing that the metal content will be limited to the base figure on the chest and legs similar to where the chrome was on the original models. Here's hoping they won't charge out the ass for this. They better not call it quits after two or three releases, since the gimmick with the Mega Armor series was that you could swap the armor between multiple figures.
The Mattel viruses are pretty great, wish I had more
http://blog.livedoor.jp/rockmanunity/archives/8875563.html
>>6340701
On what scale is this?
>>6342466
If I can be super honest....I'm not a big fan of the look of the figure or the general styling so far. Too much technical greebling. I'll still probably get into the line if they start releasing a lot of variety at a fair price though.
>>6342466
I could do without the whole vehicle mode gimmick, just makes the cost of the figure higher for a display option I will never use.
Unless the red thing becomes an armor display stand, which would be pretty sick.
>>6342466
>>it's some shitty random armor or even worse the "5th armor" instead of something from MMX or X2
Hey guys, OP here. Finally added more figures to my collection. Unfortunately, pic related was not one of them, but if anyone has one, feel free to boast and whatnot. Still looking for this sucker! I just wanted to share the pics, which were posted around 2015, funny enough.
>>6347785
>>6347785
I got a whole bunch of these in a lot off of eBay 5 years ago, didn't know they were rare/valuable
Anyone know if it's possible to get all eight MM2 Robot Masters?
I find the MM1 Robot Masters to be garbage tier characters (especially the poochies Gutsman and Cutsman).
Really fucking want all eight of the Mega Man 2 Robot Masters. Metal Man/Bubble Man/Heat Man in particular
>>6348055
You are fucked.
Quickman's the only Mega Man 2 Robot Master to get a toy.
Capcom keeps pushing the Mega Man 1 Robot Masters in all of their media/merch for reasons I don't understand, given how Mega Man 2 was the game that actually made the franchise a huge hit, while the first game barely sold.
Hell, Mega Man 3 has more figures (Snake Man, Shadow Man, Protoman) than Mega Man 2!
>>6348060
I find it very sad that Capcom still clings to Quickman as the "breakout character" of Mega Man 2 when said break-out character is really Metal Man.
Dude has arguably the most powerful weapon in the entire Mega Man game series AND his level is the most fun to play of the MM2 levels.....
>>6348041
A whole bunch of WoodSouls? I know there was a lot on ebay around 2014 that had A WoodSoul in it
>>6348041
And yeah, WoodSoul is the hardest to come by, and I'd pay a decent price for one. Around $50 loose and $100 sealed
Man, why the fuck did Roll not get a Funko figure?
>>6348170
Why did they pick Rush and Wily? Why not Bass and Roll? Who actually wants a Rush Funko?
>>6306281
I bought some more.
>>6348370
You'd be shocked.
There are a good number of Mega Man fans who hate hate hate how characters like Roll and Bass get countless toys made of them while Robot Masters post-MM1 constantly get the shaft.
As another poster has stated, the most popular of all of the Mega Man games only has had a single Robot Master made, while garbage characters like Protoman and Bass and Roll get endless number of figures and merch.
I was ready to pick up the kotobukiya kit to make some pantheon until i saw how terribly disproportionate it is.
5 down, 4 to go.
Sentinel please don't disappoint us
>>6348727
I would take any boss character at this point. Storm Owl. Bubble Crab. Hard Man. Top Man. Anything.
>>6351805
Even Centaurman?
>>6354892
Not that anon but I'd take any boss character as well.
