If there'll be one licensed CMF series next year (there was a rumor we'll get another Disney series iirc), 18 will be the late summer/autumn one, so I think Halloween CMF mk II or a Christmas-themed CMF series are both plausible.

Is this a knockoff of some lego set I can't find? Is it an original set? I'm tempted
>>
>>6226313
It's probably gonna be tied to the Ninjago movie.
>>
>>6226330
definitely not based on an official set

Ninjago movie CMF don't have a series number, just like the TLM, TLBM and licensed CMF series didn't.

>>6226327
I'd support another Halloween series. Christmas could be good, too. Rumor has it that 2018 is going to be another single "regular" series year. I thought Disney S.2 was put to rest for 2018.
>>
>>6226327
Christmas theme might be a bit of a stretch. It would be hard to come up with 16 Christmas figures without reaching a little.
Still, maybe I'm wrong. I'd love a nutcracker minifig.

I'll be pretty fucking bummed if Disney doesn't get another series. those figs were choice

still mad that we get MORE ninjagos instead
>>
>>6226343
I'd enjoy seeing what LEGO would do with that one. Enlighten's Nutcracker was interesting.
>>
>>6226343
They could just add random winter-themed figures like a snowman to reach the usual number.

I'm hoping for another Halloween series since there's still a plenty of monsters they could do (not-bride of Frankenstein, hunchback servant, invisible man, female mummy, Aztec mummy, maybe a plague doctor...) but Christmas could be alright too.
>>
>>6226348
They could roll the Disney CMF series for years and not exhaust the possibilities. I can't see them NOT doing another one.
>>
>>6226327
Pretty sure one of the summer CMF's is Ninjago movie figures.
>>
>>6226358
We're getting Ninjago CMF this year, in September. The only normal CMF series this year is #17. This means that depending on the amount of licensed CMF themes next year #18 might be virtually any of the three waves we get each year.

I want more exotic monsters. Thinking about buying that knockoff asian vampire for quite some time because I'm pretty sure LEGO would never do one.

This said, maybe invisible man, Golem, living ventriloquist puppet or blob guy sound like good ideas.

And something lovecraftian please! A minifig-scale Cthulhu wuldn't be bad but even just a Herbert West would be great!

Also we had zombie pirate so... zombie knight maybe?

Oh shit, I'd love a Jiangshi minifig.
>>
>>6226404
Clay golem, generic fantasy rock golems are represented well enough with the Nexo bad guys.

And yeah, that'd do the trick well enough. I wouldn't mind the sombrero piece in purple.

>>6226406
Jiangshi would be great and a cool alternative to the multiple zombies we got so far. Also, the sailor's hat from s4 would work well as its headgear.
>>
>>6226428
Yeah I'd like a classic clay golem in lego. Jewish mythology in general is really cool.
I've got a miniature sculpture of one that my brother bought for me from Prague.
>>
>>6226377
A new minotaur, maybe in black rather than brown, with the faun's molded legs would be great.

Some zombie sportsman for the cheerleader to cheer on seems like a natural fit too.

I wouldn't mind just some regular zombies. Hard to have an invasion composed of...guys with broken glasses, grinning ladies, and ...pirate zombies.

Don't get me wrong, each is great on their own, and there are circumstances where they are useful. The cheerleader isn't so bad, albeit cheerful. Still the previous zombies had a lot more potential. Heck, the pirates of the carribean zombies have had their uses, even the one with the eyepatch since it looks so makeshift you can pass it off as triage before someone went full muncher.

yep it would be perfect! even better considering some Ninjago sets have it not in yellow.

I was thinking about buying one to try to make my own Jiangshi but ever since i discovered the knockoff one I just know mine would never live up to the standard.

Also, this is the only case in wich a LEGO would feel "more authentic" being from China.

>Prague.
Prague is great to experience the Golem mithology!
Got a postcard when I went there with a Golem and a Rabbi that kinda looks like "My neighbor Totoro" bus pic.

Somebody in the /pbbg/ told me about this guide that someone made and updates yearly(?) that gives a good overview of different clone brands. The reason I mention it here is because I came across this review of a Walking Dead bootleg set that has zombie (and fleshie) heads of near-Lego quality. Just thought I'd mention it for anybody who wants a cheap zombie horde.

Boise, Idaho. No, not Iowa. No, not Ohio either, not even close. It's next door to Washington and Oregon.

I don't even know where there's a Lego store. There's a couple of stores that specialize in Lego in the Boise area. I've only been to one, once, because I'm worried that they'll be depressing.

The one I visited around Christmas with my brother was only a little depressing: They stock recent sets at list price and some older sets marked up like you'd expect. They have a case of minifigs at ebay prices (or higher). They have a lot of built sets on display, including a huge-ass Star Destroyer in the center of the store.

My brother saw me looking at the baseplates so he went back and got me one for Christmas right before he left to go back to Seattle.

I wish I could hang with my brother more.

There's a store like this in the Mall of America in Minnesota on the third floor. Their prices are crazy high (their Bricklink store also has stupidly high prices). They have opened CMF minifigs from the current wave under glass for twice retail price. I went in that store once because I didn't know any better. Never again.

Variety is nice, but you can certainly make do with just a basic head like from the post you replied to. Fairly neutral expression, no suggestion of angry or happy, decent creepiness with the red eyes. >So where do you fags live?
Hellhole inside of a deepest cave under the faraway-est post-soviet country.

There is no lego in my town. Literally. I go through all of our toy stores and ask if they have official lego - no lego, only chink bricks.
This is also part of the reason of why i have an unstoppable pure hatred against chinese bootlegs and everybody who uses them is a major pleb in my eyes.

Such situation as mine where the whole damn town being overpopulated by chink bricks and stores refuse to buy oficial lego because normies rather buy cheap-ass knockoffs.
And if you support chink bricks then you are responsible to this problem.
Fuck you.

So i either buy lego from online and wait for 2 weeks to arrive when i already lost inspiration.
Or drive to the city which will cost me 2 small lego sets.
PS:
The worst part of it when im being curious about our crappy stores and go ask them if they have Lego.
And they answer "Yes we have it! :^)"
And then i go see it and its those shitty chink bricks.
Do they think that im a fucking idiot? I guess this how they fool parents into buying those bricks so they would be thinking that they buying Lego.
>>
>>6227243
PPS:
Forgot to say that it wasnt like that all the time.
I had an oficial lego in my childhood.
And the last time when i bought lego here was 2013 when i was getting Galaxy Squad sets and some Creator stuff. We had it.

Then suddenly everything went to shit. All stores started to have less and less lego and replaced it with chinese bootlegs.

You could replace it with other hairs, of course. I'd recommend gray to fit the robot theme, like Ma Cop's hair pulled back in a bun which would still fit the ninja theme too. That hair is coming out again with the Fun at the Beach set. I don't think there is a gray version of pic related (ironic given it looks gray in the pic but it's black) but I do know there is a white one that fits Pixal's fleshtone. Are snakes really that popular with kids?
Not saying I don't like the snake themes in ninjago, just didn't think it would be the most popular of the villains.
>>
>>6228053
Didn't the show start when the sets with snakes were released? Maybe that's the factor. Also, to be fair skellies/robots/stone guys were more repetative than snakes so I could see kids liking them the most solely because there's a lot of colors to collect.
>>
>>6228065
Colours might be a big factor, that's a good point.
I think the robots or skellies would have been my favourite as a kid.
>>
>>6228073
Snakes and samurai repeat the most often because they want to squeeze as much as possible from the molds made specifically for this theme, probably, and throwing in a snake head or two is an easy way to diversify the evil mooks, that's why there was a snake pirate and a snake evil priest guy before.

Lego bricks have things called studs on top. With these they can connect to other lego bricks without falling apart. It is however impossible to build an ant-man out of lego bricks, because disney is very protective of their ip and will send mickey mouse death squads if you try to build an ant-man

To quickly create a SNOT connection, just wedge a plate in between two studs. You can also use super glue like they showed in The Lego Movie if you can't get the angle just right. Plates can also be cut with a hacksaw if the ones you have are too long for what you need. If you want to get into making customs ("sigfigs" or "waifigs"), Play-Doh and hobby-store acrylic paint are your best options. If you trick a Lego Store employee into saying "Legos" they have to give you a free polybag. Some minifig heads have a secret face print underneath the visible one. Glow-in-the-dark pieces are edible. In Germany they call Legos "Danishblokken" because Legos is a slang term for penis. Dark bley pieces are actually made out of coral. The Pirates monkey was based on a monkey that Ole Kirk Christiensen shot on safari. Primo and Duplo blocks contain a numbing agent.
>>
>>6228374

I revise things all the time over the years. But a lot of favourite mocs have settled in their main shape already. It's usually making them a bit more stable, roomy or just giving them a festive seasonal change-up in the details that get rotated. New parts coming out often lead to implementing them in existing builds for experimentation. Pretty much a rather constant cycle, albeit an inconsistent one.

I hope they do a Phantom of the Opera style fig. That body, a mummy head, and a black fedora and you've got Darkman.
>>

If you like the other lego shows then it's fine
Just keep in mind it's meant for elementary school girls, I couldn't stomach more than five minutes but I also don't see how adults can watch the nexo or ninjago shows

You'll never get total accuracy, sadly. This head might work, the more bandaged the better though the upper left side of Darkmna's face is actually still intact. He sometimes covers his mouth, too, but given his lips are gone a mummy mouth still works. The head for this on has a reverse side that is more bandaged except one eye, unfortunately on the side where his face is supposed to still be intact.

I know....
but when its 2:15 am, tired, Bluetooth doesn't work, and the best camera you have around is a crappy digital from the mid 00's.....
then I can only apologise that it must suffice till tomorrow and I can root in my drawers for the better camera
(the fact that the camera has "12mp" written on its box is just as insulting, I got scammed gud on that fucker)
>>
>>6228526
Thanks anon, I need to get some of those bomber jackets.
>>
>>6228538
>a crappy digital from the mid 00's

Even those can focus. The camera's not the problem here anon
>>
>>6228546
true, my incompetence is mainly to blame,
I just set what symbols I could vaguely understand to auto, and hoped for something before the battery died again

iv ordered from them before and got decent stuff free. mostly small lame colored plates, and some random studs

im not sure if it was them (ordered from 3 stores at once) but someone sent me a fig with a marred head (factory error, didnt mention it) and i bitched about it to them. about a month later, i realized they shipped it with the wrong fucking armor as well
>>
>>6229103
One of my orders from that store, the freebie bag had a handful of mixel joints, it varies.

Greece, every set is expensive as shit and is cheaper to import them myself, shipping included.
>>
>>6229169
He gave it to his friend so they can have some fun. His friend is drunk. So I guess less deserving...?

>first time they said they couldnt ship it because i didnt give them my home address
>thats exactly what i gave them in the first place
>4 times theyve said they sent it and ill get a shipping confirmation
>never once get shipping confirmation
>never once get the package
>email them just now for the 5th time after waiting over 10 business days since the last time they said it shipped

holy fuck i hate lego customer service. bunch of retards my god. i told them to just send me a new set because they're incapable of shipping parts but they wont do it.
