Pull from underneath to start and nudge out the top edges of the face. If you have tweezers or a plastic spudger it'll help.

I found it to be really hard to get them off, I pretty much never bother changing them.

Cheetor is pretty nice, surprisingly big cheetah mode. Thigh swivels are super tight, paint is great though. No paint issues yet thankfully.

I honstly feel the TR one isn't bad. Repaint the back end of the canon black, reprolabel him up and it does well for a classics toy.

Personally I like the CW one, although he's a tad big for me, as is his head.

TR look okay-ish. I don't care for all the unpainted gray and overly long torso.

There's also the oversized KO of Warbotron's legends class one which turns into a pretty nice gun.

There's also Rioter Despotron, but he's third party, pricey, and stylized.

if you're talking about any character named Megatron, the movies have one or two decent ones (TLK being one), and then there's the Prime one.
But if you're talking something more traditional, you'll probably have to go as far back as Hero Megatron

I'm actually a fan of the Classics mold. Not in the classics colors, but either version Takara put out with the mod to remove the backpack. The CW leader is the best official figure, but lacks a proper Optimus to rival him (PM Prime not counting as I want a traditional looking leader Prime).

Any time they use white its this weird creamy, almost pale yellow. Some people call it "Almond". I fucking hate it.

And their grey plastic just looks really cheap. Its usually super light colored and ruins the look of alot of details in the molding.

I have him. He's fine. The robot mode looks great. Transformation is quite complex. The vehicle mode is so-so on account that it looks good enough but it doesn't fit/tab together as well as it should. The Hyper mode is particularly floppy.

Otherwise, he's a good figure overall. I'd recommend him for the sheer loveliness of his design, but be aware he's not perfect on a mechanical level.

Found two Gnaws today. Bought em both. The bot mode is a little disappointing but I love the shark mode.

Because it's a 20+ year old toy that I got MISB, I'm kinda iffy about opening it. I did own the Hasbro one a long time ago but it's gone now so I'm thinking of getting the Hasbro again to be played with while this is displayed in my shelf all pretty and boxed. They look good, you can tell this is who the molds were meant for. Octane's jet mode looks much better than Prime's, his color scheme has less contrasts in it so the cab haves actually look like engines behind/under the wings instead of weirdly placed truck kibble.

As for the figure, that's an upscaled version of the AoE hound, remade with quite a few additions, including a version of a third party armor kit that gives him his proper gut. In a sense, a knockoff that actually improves the quality of the figure rather than compromises it.

Wotafa and YouheiDX for things that are somewhat recent. Runescape228 has the best "formal" format for reviews you can get on english-speaking youtube though he hasn't reviewed everything and only his more recent reviews use a good camera; he also reviews old Beast Wars figures once in a while if you are curious about the line. Thew is great but he never uploads anything, he edits unlike everyone else and makes his own music for the videos so that's a nice trade-off for your annual review of the best meme figure of this year's line.
Baldmatrix is kind of in the lower tiers but he is miles better than the average reviewer that based his reviews on optimusbot or whatever the hell emgo does. Also check Chefatron for competent but kind of shitty reviews of the very latest figures, he is from South East Asia and they get everything first.

Optimusbot and The Peaugh are for when you're desperate, both have reviewed pretty much everything but their reactions don't say shit about the toys. One will say everything is a good figure and the other will just say it's a nice toy in a monotone after he has grinded it into plastic pulp trying to transform it.

basically, it's claiming that the purple deco of G2 megs is the equivalent of galvatron, and that the galvatron in the comics (who came from the future) was never actually Megatron, but was suffering from Straxus' brainwashing making him THINK he was.
Which certainly sounds impossible.
