Yep, that and paint thinner take out paint and printing like nobody's business. With retards like me who fuck it up it can be pretty nasty but hopefully you're much more careful than I am.

Polished and glossy plastic usually gets the finish messed up by nail polish remover but matte plastic is unaffected by it. Which works since most figmas are primarily composed of matte plastic.

Just make sure you know the surface you're working on doesn't have any paint save what you want to remove. If that's the case and the colors are simply enough you may as well try repainting over it. Generally though for lighter jobs paint thinner works better while polish remover works better for thicker paint and whatnot.

They look, and are, really cheap. Some of them have nubs that weren't cut properly, but were chrome-painted, so if you cut them yourself you're going to remove the paint.

Funny how all of my swords are absolutely fine, except for a couple which had wobbly guards (not sure what the correct terminology is) which I easily fixed with some glue.

My only nitpick is how similar some of them look, I would have liked 10 totally unique blades, but that can't be helped since they're based on real swords. And for the price I paid there really is no better alternative.

I have a second-hand old Suika figure that I imported from Japan. I hadn't taken the chained objects from the box yet but now that I did, her sphere was sticky.

Was it the plasticizer? Silly me used paper to clean it and I think it's not dirty anymore but it lost its yellow color and is now more greenish.

Should I wash the sphere?

Everything else is fine btw.

I'm on the fence about pre-ordering figma shielder: I loved the design from the moment I've seen those commercials for the game but I was shocked at how bad the first half hour of the Grand Order TV special was...I could even stomach the original season of FSN back in the day but this was way worse in every regard.
