What is the best minicon toy?

Do minicons come with base and playsets like the old micromasters?

Minicons as in Armada era minicons? Optimus Prime's trailer/pants turned into a a base for them and that's it I think.

That always happens with new janitor waves. For every person that wants to actually moderate there are like 20 that just want to delete everything, and it tends to go unnoticed by the rest of the staff unless you get someone like that /vg/ janitor a while back that decided to delete every thread.

Anons? Sorry if this is the wrong thread for it... but, I was hoping to chase down a scan/pdf of the Transformers Animated Allspark Almanacs - would that be something I can find here, or is it not the right kind of Transformers material?
>>
>>6104122
Try over on /co/, the board is absolute cancer but I'm pretty sure they've got a Mega folder full of Transformers comic/artbook scans.
>>
>>6104126
I tried there at first, yeah, but there's no Transformers thread to be seen. This was the only place I found with any sort of /tfg/ thread. Alright, thanks for the confirmation, though.

>>
I just got fortress maximus.

Does he still combine with TR soundwave or do I really have to get blaster? The thought of getting a boombox that isn't named soundwave triggers me
>>
>>6104215
They should be compatible, they're almost exactly the same mold.
>>
MP Bumblebee was designed by Hasui, right?

It really irks me how imperfect MP Bee is. I get that he had a small palette to work on but I don't like how much of him is clear plastic, while other MPs are almost always clear plastic inlaid on solid plastic for windows and how easily coverable the holes on his arms could have been.

If his hands flipped out from underneath instead of from the side then the kibble hanging off his arms could have been used to cover that hole excellently. Or hell even without the kibble, having his hands flip out from underneath would have made a much less obvious hole.
>>
>>6104267
Hasui should never be allowed to make an MP again.
#Sockoroniforever
>>
>>6104215
what a stupid question
>>
>>6104215
Soundwave isn't even a boombox, you fucking autist. Blaster is.
>>
Has there ever been a working micro cassette player soundwave?

I know they've done some MP3 and Radio soundwaves before.
>>
>>6104417
I think there could definitely be a collectors market for, it if only as a novelty, but that demand would definitely not be worth hassle and price of getting real cassette tapes and players made in 2017.

Likewise, an MP3 player Soundwave really had potential but what we got wasn't handled well and really the time has passed for it. There's no novelty of an working Soundwave that can play that OTHER format he isn't known for and nobody needs a dedicated MP3 player anymore.

I think It would be cool is someone attempted a custom of that though someday.

Thinking of grabbing one of the Combiner Wars multipacks. Right now it's between Computron and Victorion (too broke for imports so it's Hasbro for me) simply because of the feet and hands - I'd love one of the G2 guys but those hand/foot guns are ugly. Any advice on deciding which one? I already own most of the molds but Computron has enough remolding to be interesting and Victorion has the unified color scheme and a pretty cool sword. I'm torn :/

Pic not mine obviously
>>
>>6104461

what molds do you already have?
>>
>>6104461
Computron

pros: Afterburner, Scrounge, arguably Strafe (solid bot and altmode, akward arm mode because of the fins facing foward), classic chracter.

cons: 3 direct repaint molds.

Vicky

pros: most new tooling of the two includes arms, heads and breast of the main 5, unique weapons.

cons: torso mold tends to lean foward because its week hip joints.

I'd say go for Computron if you preffer classic characters, Vicky if you want variety.
>>
>>6104479

>vicky
>variety

because having 2 identical legs and arms is variety?
not to mention that the hand/foot sockets on the helicopter mold are incredibly prone to stressing
>>
>>6104479
I bought Vicky when she was $50 before x,as with free shipping, if anon can get the set for that or less I recommend it as I wound up liking the individuals more than I'd expected. Pyra magna a cute.

So, I am easily swayed by media tie-ins and now that Star Saber is in Earth Wars and I can see him in action, I want him.

What's the consensus on the MP?

Although I wonder about the odds of him getting a TR leader class figure.

Dunno about Vicky but Computron's feet don't have the greatest traction, so I wouldn't expect him to pose well on really smooth surfaces.

Vicky's hands and feet can also store super neatly right on Pyra Magna's backpack, and they're more posable.

Some like symmetry, also both have new arms heads and chest molding unless not-lightspeed and nosecone.

>not to mention that the hand/foot sockets on the helicopter mold are incredibly prone to stressing
That CQI isn't as common, i have 4 helicopters and only Blades has slight stress marks on the port under its altmode, but the main connector its fine.

>>6104545
Pretty nice overall, some complain about the lack of paint, but it was designed like that to avoid paint chipping.

Well no shit, he was designed so all the coloured parts they could get away with would be moulded plastic. The designer wanted it to be playable like the original without paint rub.
>>
>>6104708
Well to be fair when was the last time we got a Voyager Optimus that was meant to be Optimus? TR is Octane and CW was Motormaster. Before that the only ones I can think of are Prime Beast Hunters and AoE, whichever came later.
>>
>>6104726
Lack of paint is a bad thing.

>>
>>6104734
Lack of color is a bad thing.

MP Star Sabor was deliberately designed to reduce the amount of pain applications by having most of his colors be separately colored plastic parts.

It's not as though he's a giant hunk of unpainted white plastic.

>Molded colored plastic is bad

Why is this?

Do people like all that paints when they are easily scrap or chip away?
There is a reason why even the hardcore military modeling is slowly moving into color molding like gundam model.

>My Blurr
Hasbro's coloring is shit on that one.
>>
>>6104215

Yeah, because the connector to FortMax's base mode is the little ramps in the Leader's base modes. Which all of the Leaders have AFAIK.
>>
>>6104785
It's really not, but a paint app with good quality paint that's properly sealed and not likely to rub looks better.

Unfortunately that's really never the case in transformers and you get shit like MP Ratchet that practically has dandruff.

Otherwise, he's great.

tech specs have always been pointless. More so because it's a metric scale. 5 point ranking would be clearer but a 10 point you hit that annoyance of what's the grand difference between 7 thru 9 or 1 thru 3. Also, short of Prime and Megs no character has kept steady stats. Prowl's intelligence has been as low as a 3 and high as a 9. And Skywarp has had no blast power to ranking in as a death beam.
>>

At this point I hope TT has its preview for Blitzingwing soon before Hasbro's BW come come out.

>>
>>6105161
We might not get Optimus (they'll probably just turn it into Scourge, Prime might come way later), Megatrons probably happening since the comics have him hating his Galvatron transtector, not to mention he keep getting roped into horrible situations thanks to it (hell, the mask was broken and they didn't even bother to fix it)

So yeah, LG Megatron seems likely.

Summary of the Ginrai manga:

>A mysterious meteor has landed in the Legends Universe and begins glowing, much to the interest of the Autobot Headmaster Juniors.
At Decepticon Co., Devil Z reveals that not only he is he still alive, he's used his and Mindwipe's brainwashing powers together to buy up all the company's stocks! Weirdwolf is angry with Mindwipe for resurrecting the evil entity, reminding him that Devil Z had already caused them trouble previously by stealing the body of their leader, BlackZarak. As "Master Shareholder" Devil Z begins working the Decepticons to the bone, however, he sees on the news that the meteor has turned into a familiar trailer. He recalls the Godmasters, living but soulless bodies discovered in the G Nebula long ago by warriors from Master. Before they could learn to combine with the bodies, Devil Z stole them away to Earth, where he hoped to use the energy from human souls to turn the Godmasters into his loyal troops.
>>
>>6105804
>Though his plan ended with his defeat, Devil Z swears not to let the same thing happen again and sends the Decepticon Headmasters to destroy the trailer, only for it to regenerate immediately. This confirms to him that it's a real Godmaster body, but before he can claim it for himself instead, Ginrai shows up, recognizing it as his. Finding a pair of Master-Braces in a compartment just like last time, he transforms the trailer into Super Ginrai, this time by forming the robot's head. Devil Z orders the Headmasters to destroy Ginrai, powering them up with Devil Power when they are initially outclassed by their opponent's mastery of Chōkon Power. As an overpowered Ginrai is brought to his knees, he is contacted by the computer of the G Nebula factory where the transtector was created, which tells him his new body contains a secret beyond Headmaster and Godmaster technology: it is also a Getmaster! This technology is activated if a Master Warrior is placed in its chest cavity, further powering up Ginrai and making him a Triplemaster.
>>
>>6105810
>Super Ginrai initiates a Get On, but instead of a Master Warrior he ends up sucking a passing-by Rattrap into his chest. This turns out to be a blessing in disguise as the rat is emitting a new form of Chōkon Power, Jūchōkon! Despite his power up, the Headmasters blow a hole in him with their Trio Formation Devil Attack, but his apparent defeat is actually his transformation into a base mode. Ginrai and Rattrap let loose with a God Fire Base Attack barrage that sends the Headmasters and Devil Z fleeing, and the Autobot Headmaster Juniors celebrate, revealing that they summoned Ginrai here after seeing the transtector appear. He intends to stick around the Legends Universe until Devil Z is defeated, but finds to his annoyance that all the locals keep referring to him as "Optimus Prime".

Here's the summary for Highbrow and Mindwipe. Their comics aren't posted but Mindwipe's happens before Ginrai's and is plot relevant.

LG 33 Highbrow:

Ever the scientist, Highbrow is bogged down in researching how the Legends Universe came to be and refuses to leave his room even to look at his completed transtector. Chromedome and Hardhead are disappointed in their friend's shut-in attitude (and smell), and the former decides to lure him out by using Alpha Trion's ultra-drill to summon his old friend, Papika. Unfortunately, even a lightly dressed young lady is not enough to coax Highbrow out of his room, but their attempts are interrupted by the arrival of Weirdwolf, out for revenge on Chromedome. Faced with the Decepticon, Papika suddenly rips her own dress to pieces and accuses him of it, hoping her cries for help will finally convince Highbrow.
The plan succeeds, as Highbrow bursts out of his room and uses his transtector and Karugo cannon to swiftly defeat Weirdwolf... then just as swiftly leaves again without saying a word to Papika. It turns out his research has led to a hypothesis, and he flies to Blaster to borrow the Zodiac. By studying it, he can conclude that the Zamojin used it to create the Legends Universe, which in turn means Zodiac energy is connected to their own telepathic energy. And since Fortress has been suffering from spending too much of his own telepathic energy, this means they can cure him with Zodiac fragments! The others are overjoyed at this, but dismayed again when Highbrow immediately locks himself in his room again to work on his next project.
>>
>>6105852
The guy said Universe Storm Cloud.
>>
>>6105855
LG 34 Mindwipe:

Through a dark magic ritual, Mindwipe is able to resurrect Devil Z into the Legends Universe, asking him for a new transtector since Tarantulas has been arrested and can't build him one. Devil Z complies and also grants him Servant, who can transform into a megaphone mode that amplifies Mindwipe's hypnotic spells to overpowering levels. With this power, Mindwipe hypnotizes the other employees of Decepticon Tera-Kura Co. and has them throw out Megatron and make him the new chairman. When Weirdwolf and Skullcruncher complain that he's being unfair, he hypnotizes even them, then goes on to brainwash the rest of the world into his loyal servants.
Once his goal is achieved, however, Mindwipe grows pensive: being surrounded by cheering masses is no fun when you know they're all brainwashed and nobody really cares for you. Devil Z then tells him what he wants for his end of the bargain, namely the life energy of all Mindwipe's subjects, so that he can restore his full strength. Mindwipe is aghast, arguing that he has friends among his subjects, and is simply told that he shouldn't have hypnotized them then. When he still refuses, Devil Z has Servant remove his head and takes the transtector for himself, setting out to absorb the world's life energy. Mindwipe is saved from Servant's grasp by Megatron, whose repeated exposure to the Galvatron body has made him immune to mind control, allowing the both of them to strike back at Devil Z with a spell designed to send him back to wherever he came from. Everyone is freed from the hypnotism, Megatron warns Mindwipe against borrowing power from devils again, and all's well that ends well... except a faint glow remains in Mindwipe's transtector...

The Convobat comic no one posted (a recreation of the events in the Legends Universe).

After a day of being annoyed at his friends calling him "Yvonco", Optimus Primal awakens in the form of gorilla robot, having contracted Transformers sickness again. His new appearance attracts the attention of Nightscream, who works a side job as a movie director and is looking for people to star in his newest work, Transformers: Convobat Amazon Showdown. He accepts and arrives at the set where he's greeted by Megatron, who will be playing the role of Megalligator. To Nightscream's annoyance, however, Megatron is quick to start ad-libbing lines and the other actors follow suit. Optimus Primal's big scene where he combines with Megatron goes awry when Megatron gets his head stuck, and then the living bat transtector borrowed from Mindwipe to serve as Convobat's body starts protesting. As Nightscream himself dons the Convobat costume and wrangles the transtector, Megatron convinces Primal to use his new body's firepower to help, combining with him again and blasting the bat into submission. Nightscream is able to transform the transtector and act as its head, completing Convobat, and eventually the movie is completed.

When Convobat is released, Hardhead and Highbrow watch it and ponder that if they exist as fictional characters in the Legends Universe, does that mean the story of Convobat and Megalligator portrays actual events happening in some other universe? Highbrow believes so, having realized that knowledge of their war somehow enters the minds of the Legends Universe's media creators, who make entertainment that in turn causes its consumers to produce the spirit energy that keeps the Legends world going. Hardhead wonders if this means Convobat might visit the Legends Universe someday, as meanwhile a portal opens in the sky and "Mindwipe's transtector" departs...

LG 36: Soundwave (this happens after Super Ginrai)

Soundblaster establishes a disco club called the Dancitron in Akihabara, and once it's grown popular, he uses ultrasound music to hypnotize all the visitors into attacking Twincast's Blaster Blues establishment to get him the Zodiac. Having two similar incidents in his memory banks, Twincast's buddy Rewind recalls that the first was solved by dousing the victims in water and the second by playing music from a giant speaker in Optimus Prime's trailer. Twincast goes with the latter solution and undoes the spell with his own music, but Soundblaster takes advantage of the distraction and steals the Zodiac. Finding himself surrounded by the Autobot Headmasters, he unleashes the power of the Zodiac at them, forcibly transforming their transtectors into the closest things they can get to "base modes".
Next, Soundblaster figures that if the Zodiac can transform a robot into a base, the opposite should hold true as well. He hurls the orb into the Dancitron, which reacts to his wishes and transforms into a transtector in the image of his original Soundwave body. Combining with the body, the restored Soundwave points his gun at a frightened Twincast and tells him that the whole plan was for the purpose of continuing their battle... then lowers the gun. He explains that now that Twincast is no longer a warrior, there is no victory in defeating him in combat: in order to win on equal terms, he too must become a musician and defeat Twincast in the arena of the music industry.

His decision to leave Decepticon Tera-Kura Co. enrages Devil Z, prompting Megatron to lecture him about the folly of controlling his subordinates through fear alone. Devil Z won't take his lip and wires him into the chest of the Galvatron body, which he then uses to attack Soundwave.

Wanting to free his leader from Devil Z/Galvatron's clutches, Soundwave grudgingly accepts Blaster's offer to help. They deploy their cassettes devices together, and Rewind and Laserbeak distract Devil Z long enough for Ravage to cut Megatron loose. Blaster then shares with Soundwave data on the Eurythman harmony, allowing them to blast Devil Z with a combined harmony strong enough to shatter him, defeating the entity for now. Soundblaster looks forward to dominating the world with the power of the harmony and Zodiac, but his ambition is crushed when Twincast tells him he designed that harmony to only be playable once. This only fuels his hatred towards Twincast, and he vows that his Dancitron will crush Blaster Blues on the music market.

With Soundwave having left the Decepticons, Ravage is also free to do whatever he wants and decides to put his tracking skills to use in the police force. He is partnered with Ai on a case regarding Weirdwolf, Skullcruncher, and Mindwipe's transtectors being stolen, and uses his keen sense of smell to detect that the criminals were boys and are still hiding nearby. The perpetrators are in fact the former Decepticon Headmaster Juniors, Bullhorn, Wilder, and Cancer, who lured the living transtectors away with energon bait because they want new bodies and Fortress is refusing to give them some. Cancer worries that if this comes out, the scandal might ruin his idol career, but the others tell him it's fine: they just took some dangerous weapons away from the evil Decepticons, is all!
Ravage and Ai then bust into the scene, prompting the boys to disguise themselves in their Headmaster modes and combine with the transtectors. Bullhorn tells the others to run while he takes on Ravage, only for his strike to do more damage to his own weapon than the cat. Ravage explains he was once a former member of the Autobot imperial guard alongside his partner Nightstalker, and as guards they were equipped with the ability to harden their bodies and become nigh-invulnerable. He slams into Bullhorn's head in device mode, knocking it loose and into the other two, causing a billiard effect that knocks all their heads off.
Since the perpetrators were children, Ai lets them off with a stern talking to. Weirdwolf protests against her leniency, but drops it and makes a sudden departure when Ai notes a resemblance between him and the giant robot that's been causing trouble lately. Later while being given a bath by Ai, Ravags warns her when he detects three boys are trying to sneak a peek.

-Well this comic was surprisingly weird. Bringing up Marvel stuff and having Wilder in it.

LG 38: Laserbeak and Apeface

Like other robots from Master, Apeface is a small robot who learned to control a transtector through rigorous training, and through further effort he even learned to triple change. Now that that transtector is gone, however, he has decided that he doesn't want a new one, and instead devotes himself to becoming the best he can be in his base form. He doesn't need a gorilla mode when he can just walk on his knees and go "ook ook", and the ability to fly using feet-jets makes a jet mode unnecessary as well. Most strikingly, Apeface is able to master the telekinesis that other Headmasters only use to combine with their bodies, learning to use it to levitate objects, emit shockwaves and strengthen his body to be stronger than a full-size Transformer.

Like any good Decepticon, Apeface soon decides to use his powers to overthrow Megatron and take over the company. To the surprise of both of them, Laserbeak reveals himself to be present, having been spying on Megatron but now comes to his protection. He is shot down by Apeface, who has invented a cannon mode for himself, but transforms into a vehicle mode and carries Megatron into the city. There, Megatron has an idea: fetching the Galvatron body that he can now control from its chest, he has Laserbeak capture Apeface with his headphone cables and force him into combining with it. Once he's in place as Galvatron's head, Laserbeak short-circuits the body with a blast, knocking Apeface out.
In the aftermath, Apeface is locked up and spends his time continuing his training, looking to achieve new altmodes. When asked what he'll do if Apeface breaks out, Megatron is not worried, since the ever-vigilant Laserbeak will let him know straight away.

A few weeks from now I might just go fuck it and get MP Road Rage alongside MP Tracks.

I ordered a seemingly legit MP tracks off amazon's marketplace for like 40$ and free shipping like 3 months ago, got told they made an inventory error and that they'd have to ship from their warehouse in china, which would take up to three months.

So I'm thinking fuck it, if I have to reorder Tracks then I'll get Roadrage too. I'm a sucker for stingrays and fembots anyway.

When you don't have him as victory saber his arm range is fine. There is a separate hinge at the shoulder that you can pull out to allow his whole arm assembly to swing forward and across the chest and he has significantly more outwards shoulder motion than Ultra Magnus

With Leo Victory on his back he loses a lot of that mobility though, mostly because Star Sabers backpack wasn't meant to hold that much mate and nudging it too hard causes the whole back pack assembly to swing down.

I picked them up actually.

The knee ratchets work well enough for holding up the general weight but I wasn't able to install the elbow ratchets since the screw refused to come undone and I ended up stripping the heads.

None of those solve the backpack issue though.

This is the assembly that doesn't support the weight and it's this flipping down that keeps the arm articulation limited. That much weight swinging down throws the entire figure off balance if you aren't careful.
>>
>>6106241
damn that sucks on the elbow and backpack issue, I may still get Victory Leo anyway.

He's okay as a stand alone figure and looks great as a display with attached to Star Saber, but in the end it doesn't have as much play to it and is just a 3p product strapped to an official one that wasn't designed with it in mind.

So I'm about to offload some of my Transformers in preperation for a move, I was wondering what the value of some of these things were:

TRU MP Rodimus w/ Japanese Trailer

Human Alliance figures

Classics Seekers

Powercore Combiners

I know its probably not much but I'm just curious before I start listing this stuff.
>>
>>6106325

>>
>>6106336
I think a lot of the Classics Seekers still have some value to them?

Not sure about Human Alliance. Does Jazz go for good money?
>>

>roboobs

>>
>>6106336
MP Rodimus goes for a lot in general but don't expect to be able to move him at a premium price if he's used and has exploded knees. Having a trailer to go with a TRU Rodimus might increase the value though.
Human alliance figures won't go for much considering how easy it is to get new ones and how many virtually indistinguishable KOs of them have been made.
Classic Deluxe seekers will go for a lot.
Not terribly familiar with the value of PCCs.
>>
>>6106367

Does the TRU version of Rodimus have exploding knees? The ones on mine never blew up and I forgot what the issue was.
>>
>>6106376
One of the panels on his legs rests on a partially inserted pin that relies on friction to stay in place. typically that pin hole will wear out completely the first time you move the panel and no longer be able to stay attached.

You might have just gotten very lucky.

Here's the one for Brainstorm:

While sleeping, Rattrap again finds himself transported elsewhere via his dreams and encounters a robot who introduces himself as Brainstorm in a new body. He recalls that when they last met, he defeated Scorponok single-handedly, a feat he could have never accomplished normally. After realizing that he had somehow drawn upon Rattrap's energy for a power boost, he began researching the subject at the transtector factory in the G Nebula 89 and eventually refined it into Getmaster technology. After the technology proved functional with the prototype transtector, Super Ginrai, Brainstorm went on to incorporate it into a new body for himself. Going back to the matter of Rattrap's self-confidence issues, Brainstorm tells him that this only shows that no matter his size, he contains limitless potential.
Their talk is interrupted when Grand Maximus reports that Overlord's forces are attacking the factory. Requesting Rattrap's help, Brainstorm rushes into battle with the rat in his chest and draws upon his Beast Power a second time, using it to defeat Overlord with a mighty Getmaster-powered blast. Before they part, he tells Rattrap that he'll soon come see him in the Legends Universe, and indeed, the very next morning he arrives at the Autobot Axalon offices. As Brainstorm and Rattrap greet each other as friends, Chromedome is left confused about how they could possibly have met before.

>>
>>6106443
Nope, it's explained in the Ginrai comic.

So yeah, now we officially have God Masters, Head Masters, and Get Masters, like in the opening to Masterforce.
>>
>>6106443
Getmasters basically use another being to draw even more power.

Godmasters could draw power from the Heavens, Human, and Earth super souls, the Getmasters can add to this by having someone ride in their chests (and since Ratrap's an animal, they get the Beast super soul from it).

Adding to this >>6106473 >>6106475 Ratrap's new toy, and his personality in Japan made him the perfect match for this kind of thing. Primal didn't have a new toy (and he's mostly a father figure, and literally one in the comic), and Rhinox wouldn't work as well.

That would have worked with ANY of the beast wars legends characters, since Rattrap was just used for his Beast Super Soul.

That, and both Brainstorm comics are apparently dream sequences with some truth sprinkled through out.

He was more like John McClaine in BW. A simple rat with a gun and a bomb, who got shit done while making sarcastic jokes. Not the type of character one would give the typical Japanese kid unlimited potential magic to. Not that I mind that trope, just doesn't fit with the American Rattrap.
>>
>>6106531
I felt like shitposting about Beast Machines at the end of that, but held myself back. but, hey, since you bought it up;
why the FUCK did they make the guy who's whole thing was infiltration and explosions, unable to do any of that? I get they where avoiding guns for whatever reason, but at least give him some stupid energy bombs or something.

what's worse is that they give him Rhinox's role as a tech guy, even though Blackarachnia would've been perfectly suited for that since she was making more tech than Rhinox towards the end of BW, anyway. So they messed up on two characters like that, since BA had basically nothing to do once Silverbolt came back.
>>
>Super Robot Lifeform Transformers: Beast Wars Metals (超生命体トランスフォーマー ビーストウォーズメタルス, Chō Seimeitai Transformers Beast Wars Metals) aired in 1999, consisting of the North American season 2 and 3 episodes. While Beast Wars had been fairly judicious in its self-referential humor, even in its last stretch of episodes, Beast Wars Metals was an unrestrained self-parody, constantly breaking the 4th Wall and demonstrating awareness of its own status as a TV series.

>Adlibbing was done to the extreme and characters all received major personality adjustments to reflect the aggressively comedic nature of the series. For example, Depth Charge was turned into a goofy old man who enjoyed singing fishing songs while transforming, Silverbolt was now psychotically polite with an obnoxious happy-go-lucky attitude and Rampage now talked in the rough-and-tumble dialect of a cartoon street punk. The show was incessantly self-aware, regularly acknowledging the camera, the TV channel and, in one of the more oppressive gags, Rattrap would constantly smell what the audience was eating (making remarks to the effect of, "Oh, that's Sato-san's curry" as he sniffed). Yoshikazu's dubbing style would become synonymous with all imported Western Transformers cartoons in Japan, as he would be placed in charge of localizing every series through Prime, all with the same overbearingly satirical attitude.
