I've had him since a little after Black Friday and while some of his joints are a little loose, namely the wrists (which I blame on QC, but I'm not sure either way), he holds up pretty well overall, can even hold most blasters if you want to give him one.

The original suit was thrown together using cheap ass materials, shit they would never allow on screen today. If they were to throw up a 100% accurate suit in a film today, a lot of people would complain that it looks shitty, despite it's accuracy, cause a lot of casual people either don't know or care about that shit.

I do have a bias for good paint jobs.

So of course my reputation, in a sea of weeaboos, of disliking toys for bad paint jobs and poor sculpts is well known.

Also, since i forgot, Figuarts has the tattoos sculpted in, which looks bad if you don't find one with a perfect paint job. It looks very crooked when not painted right because of they sculpted in panel lines which don't always match up with the paint masks.

As mentioned before, it's always best to see these figures in person, especially when the paint jobs are on the line. Judge for yourself, instead of having people who never see these figures in person tell you that they're the greatest.
If you're not as picky as me, maybe the rough textures on the face or misaligned paint apps won't bother you.

Bought a Revan at GameStop today, I was surprised that him and the snowtrooper were the only ones left. Also kind of /toy/ but the R2 Measuring cups, bento box, and cupcake molds were $2-3 each which is cheap.

Well, I continue my hunt for Revan on the Canadian West Coast, and I found these at a walmart today.

Is it weird that even though I don't really want either of them, I felt compelled to buy Ashoka just because of how rare I hear she is, especially with how my Canadian stores stocks the black series?

I only buy figures of characters/designs I really like, which explains why I only have K-2SO, a clone trooper, Jango Fett, and Kylo. Really want a Grievous.

Okay guys I need your help with something, because another line I collect started doing a charecter I love in that scale.
So I've been getting into the 1/18th scale semi recently and picked up a Captain Fordo, and I think I'd like some clones to go with him but want to spend very little, under 15 a pop. What releases would be good to get second hand and cheap?
Outside of the early Troop builder packs or recent 5POA stuff, something like 10~ish POA would be my only real preference.

How easy is it to mod the BS Kylo cloak onto the SHF? Is there a tutorial? I have a spare BS I can't sell for the life of me.

Super easy.

First, pop off BS head and pull off the scarf. Remove the BS belt (either by cutting it in half or with a little bit of patience you can separate it at the glue seam and you can use it later). Be careful as the first BS Kylos seemed to have the belt also glued onto the cloak, so if you rip it off you might get a hole on the cloak. Now just slide it over the headless BS body.

SHF Kylo uses a lot of ball joints, so you can pop off various parts without damaging the figure. Pop off the head/neck, the arms at the shoulders, and the lower waist. The four skirt planks are just pegged onto the bottom half of the waist. Unpeg them and set them aside.

Slip the headless/armless SHF torso into the BS cloak, then pop on the parts again. Should not take more than 5 or 10 minutes.

What's funny is that the Stormtrooper actually DOES look better.

Everything else is an issue with size and paint. The Biketrooper is clean, no mud and while K2SO may look better he looks fresh off the assembly line with no scuffs. Looks a tad short as is a running problem with Figuarts characters that are supposed to be taller.

The humans may have dot printed face and metallic hair but the only people who seem to have a serious issue with it seem to be judging it off pictures. It's not bad at all in-hand and nobody is keeping any of you from mixing and matching.

Best Luke is Figuarts, best Vader is MAFEX, best 3PO is model kit etc.

Personally, I have Jedi Luke and Maul from SHF, 3-po and R2 are bandai model kits, and I just got Mafex Boba fett. The rest of mine are black series (mostly troopers)

What is the best General Grievous figure? I can only find ones that feature all 4 arms at the 3 3/4 in. size, but I'd really like a 6in Grievous.
