Sidewipe/Red Alert and Prowl/Silverstreak/Smokescreen are about the size of CHUG Prime. Ditto for 3P Hound aka Gundog and Badcube Sunstreaker/Sunsurge. I think the same for Tracks. Of course Ironhide/Ratchet and all the 3P Grapples/Infernos/Hoists/Trailbreakers are too big.

If you are okay with some Autobot being around Prime's size or you have a bigger Prime some of them could definitely fit in a CHUG Collection.

Skipped out on CW (aside from a few Legends), but I picked up a few TR deluxes last week and dang, they are great.

Wolfwire is probably my favorite, the robo-wolf mode looks so cool! Was kinda wary of picking him up as I've heard some people have had problems with his cockpit hinge breaking, but I couldn't resist that rad alt mode. Mine seems to be OK so far, thankfully.

I have one missing some of the armour. He's alright for a G1 toy honestly. The legs only have forward and backward movement despite the several joints and some parts of him are very fragile, and a complete set of armour can be hard to put together because there are several variants especially in the legs that don't always fit together perfect. Finding a base body that isn't horribly yellowed is also a challenge, you're looking at $65+ before the armour. And the gun clip is really really expensive.

IMO the only reason to get one is if you're a G1 completist, or you love the Valkyrie design for Jetfire so much that you hate all of Hasbro's recent Jetfires. If they would just partner with Bandai for once and do a Masterpiece style Valkyrie repaint as Jetfire...

Update: the wings are on friction pegs so you can just pop them off and swap if you're so inclined. It looks more like the G1 but two of the wings are still the wrong way and I wouldn't want to constantly swap every time I transformed him

You need to press the button (his orange chest orb) while pushing the horns down into the assembly. The catch is actually visible on the underside of the torso segment.

Ordered a LG-EX Black Convoy in anticipation for Ruination. Also picked up a titaniums RID prime on a whim for dirt cheap and he actually scales pretty nicely with the RTS prime mold standing about a head taller and isn't a floppy mess like most titaniums. Now I just need someone to back him up and i'll have a nice little mini display ready. I have a Landfill but he's way too short anyone know how well Rail Racers stacks up to a CW/UW Combiner height wise?

Short answer is some plastic colors are just that costly that it's cheaper to cast it in a shared plastic in a mold and then paint over it.

Most of the parts unique to Brainstorm are in white and grey, so it's cheaper to coat one piece fully than to give it a whole new mold for the teal plastic.

I'm sure a lot of people agree with you, but it wasn't worth making a post about. That said, I half agree. Unless you are buying only in one scale or just collect what you like, it's only worth it to get a toy of a figure if it makes sense for that character to be that scale. For example, most of us here would probably agree that Optimus is a voyager, the Autobot cars (Datsuns bros, Wheeljack, the Lambos, etc) would be deluxes, Wheelie, Brawn, Swerve, etc would be scouts, and Jetfire would be a leader class. There are a few that would be up to debate, like if Bumblebee should be a scout or a deluxe, or if the Dinobots should be voyager or leader.

I wound up preordering The Wave 3 Titanmasters because I need more tiny heads guys. Then I saw a bunch of retards talking about army building for gnaw and kickback which means they'll fucking deplete a case and just leave rows and rows of fucking bumblebee so I then also preordered the legends wave. I then also foundout that getaway is going to be shortpacked so I then preordered the Deluxes.

Blitzwing Megatron and Octane Optimus seem like a waste of a wave. However Optimus seems like a good body for Loudmouth and Megatron seems ideal for Flywheels. So I'm probably going to wait for those to hit stores.
