So for anyone who's built the JtO Makuta combiner, which parts of Ekimu and Umarak the Hunter are used? It's because I want to preserve them- I know Tahu, Onua, Kulta, LoSS, Ikir, and Umarak the Destroyer are all fodder for the grinder, but having Ekimu and best Umarak still around would feel much better, even if I'm 'losing' Kulta Kai to this model.

I know Ekimu loses his shield cover and I've heard that you also need his shoulder joints? As long as he can keep his shoulder pads I should be fine, considering I have an extra set of 2015 Toa, the skellies, and the Uniters all open for parts.

I get what you mean, every time I lightly tip my Greivous it always falls on its face. Makuta is very stable so far, don't recall ever wobbling or anything, my guess is Makuta is much heavier and that weight keeps it balanced while the General is very "floaty" to use a video game term.

I'm building JTO Makuta on LDD, I'm halfway through the body. Some pieces are definitely going to be missing (gearbox, G2 head and more) and I couldn't manage to connect all parts properly, so it looks like shit, but the file can still be used to make parts lists with whatever program/site you wish.

Need some advice. Bought a large Bionicle lot lately and a sealed Toa Terrain Crawler was included. I have two other playset from back in the day, Visorak's Gate and Race for the Mask of Life. I just bricklinked the parts (only needed a few), just look at sets that has the piece you need and put it on a wanted list in the right color. from there you can find stores by pressing the buy all green button when you select your wanted list.
