Yeah, I got really lucky with Red as I got into collecting after his release, but I found him used on ebay for like 70 bucks...still pricey, but still jumped at it.
And yep, that is Lucina. Pretty happy with her too - She was keeping me from buying the Marth nendo, but I think I'll be getting him as well.

I know I'm way late to the party but I just got myself a Sakura nendo. I'd been eyeing her since release but missed out.

I remember everyone really complaining about how much of a pain it was to pose her. I can see why for most but I have small dexterous fingers so it wasn't too much of an issue for me. I do find that she is way heavier than any nendo I ever owned and realized her head is actually magnetic! For the cap to stay on. I wonder if that means the kirby nendo will be quite fat/heavy for his size haha.

Say, you order 3 Nendoroids from GSC, for a flat fee of 2000 JPY.

Now, what if you order from Amiami, to say, the middle of the US? 1 Nendoroid would cost about, I don't know, 800 JPY to ship. So, I would imagine since the box becomes heavier, that adding a 2nd, and then 3rd Nendoroid, would push the shipping up to say, 2000-2400. Therefore, GSC is already on the verge of winning, and then add bonus's in.

Yes you are correct, if you are ordering more than 2 nendos at once, then GSC would be the better option. But I think the problem is that you only have a month to preorder something on GSC, so if there's only say 1 you want at the time it's just cheaper to order elsewhere. On amiami you have until they run out of stock.

I'm in MA here. East coast, so literally the furthest a Japanese package could possible travel, but I am right next to JFK's customs, so I'm not sure if that helps.

Anyway, EMS for one Nendoroid from Mandarake was 1680 yen, so even just getting two nendoroids from GSC would be saving money.

But you are also forgetting about the price difference. Perrine, for example, has no bonus. She costs 4110 at amiami and 5184 from GSC directly. Taking that into account, GSC wouldn't win until you get three or four Nendoroids at once. The problem there is that many people don't want that many nendoroids a month while on amiami, you can combine other things into your order. Depending on purchasing preferences, it is almost one hundred percent based on exclusives or not, and many people don't like the idea of being forced to use GSC to get a bonus item regardless of price.

Okay so I just opened my Mega Man and a word of warning to you folks who haven't gotten him yet.

The front of the helmet is curved, obviously, and it tends to hug around the faceplates. The first time swapping mine was a scary experience because I thought I was going to break the damn thing. Well, what I mean is, the legs don't perfectly go into the thing. It doesn't necessarily have to snap, but there's a width issue, I guess you could say, as if the legs were just a tad too far apart... I dunno. I can kinda rig it to where she's resting atop it, but I can't see that being a permanent solution. If I walk into the room at a quick pace she'd likely topple over.

So apparently there are two different versions of the Megaman Nendoroid box, one that says Mega Man and one that says Rock Man.

My vader nendo has a very loose waist joint. Is this normal?

I dropped a nendo and one of the accessory pieces left some paint onto the body itself. How would you get that scratch/paint off?

Yup, it's Pledge furniture polish. It used to be labeled as 'Future' but I'm not sure what it's called now. Just drop some in the hole, stick the male end in, wipe off the excess, and let it dry. It's essentially just liquid acrylic.

Guys i'm moving next weekend and i'll have to move again in like 6 months.

I thought about keeping the Nendoroids i have(and my Figmas) in their boxes until i move again, but i heard somewhere that if you keep them in their box for too long, the joints will become less moveable or something like that.

I know it's not ''that'' long but i just want to be sure.

One of the teeth in my Nagisa's dome is rattling around loose.
Is there anything for it or am I fucked?

Never heard of joints becoming less movable just from being in the boxes. If you leave them in cold temperatures then I'd worry about the joints just because the plastic hardens and becomes brittle.

Now plasticizer is a different problem. If figures are left sealed for long periods of time they will leak plasticizer which will collect on the figure and make them really sticky. This mostly happens on older figures that have never been opened. It's easy enough to fix though, just gotta grab some not harsh dishsoap and give the figure a wash.

6 months isn't that long. If you keep your boxed figures in decent temperature you'll be fine.

When Megaman was first announced I thought he was so cute, but when he released he was so underwhelming... I've wanted to make this picture for awhile comparing the two of the prototype and the final release. Imo the initial prototype was heavily based on the Smash version, while maybe they went for a more retro look with the release?

Anyways
1) Arm band on left is more protruding and parallel with his arm. While on the right is smaller and more convex
2) Helmet has a small rim around the visor area(?) on the left, while the release removed this detail
3) Eyes on the left have a completely different positioning of the glisten in the iris.Left has no weird line near the bottom of the eye creating that squinty/puffy cheek look. Outline of the eye is thinner and more of a square that was rounded out shape, while on the right is thicker and more rounded
4) The nozzle of his blaster has a small ridge at the base, while on the right this was removed
5) Small detail on his pelvis which is also removed upon release
6) Shoes are more ridged and the upper parts look more separate from his feet. Very similar to how they look in Smash. They also have small detailing. On the right this is removed and the upper and lower part of the shoe are completely smoothed into 1 piece.
7) The face vs helmet space ratio seems very different. The prototype has the face occupy half of the head while the release is much more condensed into the lower area of his head

one final thing I notice between the two is that the Megaman on the left has torso more resembling an upside triangle. While on the right his torso is the opposite of this.

Yeah. The series are unfinished, the mango's in limbo and the nendos are overpriced. I was keeping filling gsc surveys with cries for all seven of them as petits but it makes no sense anymore.
