So I really like Gachapons, I think they look cool, I think the little capsules look cool, and I think the toys inside of them look cool, But I also really like how they all look together. Is it possible to collect Gachapon Machines themselves? What should I fill these machines with?
sold out unfortunately
>New Mario Kart DS machine
>Get all 4 (mario,Luigi,Bowser, Peach) in 4 tries
I also tried out the animal crossing one, and only got 2 of the same shitty purple duck, and some mini furniture.
I still have my soft New Super Mario Bros keychain thingies too.
I have my own toy capsule machine. He talks and lights up.
I customised a Mutant Mania front card and filled with my doubles.
He says "Hi my name is Orgg and I'm filled with great toys" and a little song plays and PLOPP! a capsule drops down.
Something I saw recently on 2chan. No idea how to get them though.
Hamsters to hang on things I guess because japan
None that I could gather. It's by Epoch and from what I got from the thread, it's called something like 'Naked/Elementary body and Go-Kart'. 300 yen gets you either a body or a go-kart.
If you find out how to get them, let the rest of us know, eh? One more.
Also, apparently Epoch's got other gacha lines that are 1/18-ish to be compatible with these to boot.
Long time ago i ran into some mini pellet guns that actually shot out stuff. I had a multi chambered golden mini gun
was trying to get sazabi, and i rolled 4 nu gundams instead... fucking hell
atleast i rolled crossbone on my last attempt
crossbone x2 is pretty cool, the cloak comes off
SO, HOW MUCH OF YOUR SOUL ARE YOU WILLING TO GIVE UP FOR THAT FIGURE YOU WANT-GACHA?
There used to be these yellow colored machines here in Ohio that cost a buck (four quarters) and had decent figures. There were little Lilo and Stitch ones at this one grocery store that were amazing and another had Pokemon figures. Last time I saw them though they had "ball" Toys, one was South Park and another was Marvel. I think you could build a figure but it looked like mostly heads in the machine.
Going to look through sites but I remember someone linking a spot that sold various Gachapon items without a need for proxy.
I distinctly remember the thread using the Laptop cats Gachapon as the OP.
I want to order these but my detolf's gacha shelf just filled up. Doushio
>not wanting a 20-car fleet of go-karts
You disgust me.
>lists price at 7400 JPY, which is about 65 bucks
>site is informative only, actual buy-site is elsewhere
>requires a proxy buyer
>assuming that the site isn't exclusively for retail outlets, assuming Japan has shit like retail/wholesale distinction to begin with.
>lists price at 7400 JPY, which is about 65 bucks
No, it's 7800 (+tax = 8424) and it's the same on the actual buy-site:
>requires a proxy buyer
>assuming that the site isn't exclusively for retail outlets
Seems to be open for anyone who are willing to buy wholesale units.
Ah, apologies on the price thing, too used to Amiami at this point. I see that the site accepts Visa/Mastercard, but as I don't see an English option or a 'we ship worldwide', I'm assuming that it's a Japan-address situation. If you've navigated the moon successfully to get to a country listing, kudos.
here they are for sale on rakuten. search by new arrivals . to see latest ones. Im not sure about shipping price on rakuten.
Assuming that it's a completely even assortment, you'd be getting 10 full sets for roughly 10000 yen, meaning that you could sell them for about 1100 yen per set +shipping if you just want to cover costs.
Personally, for 2 vehicles and 2 robots, I'd be fine with 20-25 USD shipped, which according to Google is about 2500-3000 jpy(minus whatever the exchanger's fee is). If that sounds like it's worth your time, I know you'd get some interested people.
>you'd be getting 10 full sets for roughly 10000 yen
One set of 40 pieces is 8424, right? So one capsule is ~211?
I can ship you 2 figures and 2 karts for about 1200, I think.
That still leaves me with a lot of stuff I don't need, though.
you bought it because of picrelated photos right?
>unless Amiami or somesuch see a demand for that sort of product
It's rare, but they do bring out gashapons on those sites, but only if there is enough demand, HLJ for example's done a few. You're right that this will likely only end up on Rakuten though.
Theres so many different kinds, I just ordered these
epoch, kitan club, and a few others are my favorite manufacturers. I also like panda no ana.
Wow, I just ordered this set too.
I've wanted a Dogu for years but most figures are ether too expensive, or are from much older sets.
Plus I found out the cute horse is the perfect size for Action 66 figures, which i'm already a fan of.
Nah, but those pics made me smile. I got him cause he's a alright dinosaur with articulation.
I tried deleting it, but I had posted it just before the site had some downtime so it said the post of too old to delete.
That pic was to make fun of some asshole on /tv/ who said Bob Ross was a reddit-tier painter. I misclicked trying to post the Lady Liberty one.
the gaschapon version
Actually, speaking of actual machines, I am not sure if my old comic shop still has one of those American Tomy ones that came out about 2000.He might have sold them. I know a friend who does prop stuff at cons has one. He 3D prints and molds stuff to put in them, little darumas or small masks like big ones he makes.
Except that's actually from Japan. I got one while over there. It was in a shop, not from a machine, but it was among other loose gaschapon and blind box stuff.
I remember going to stores that had rows and rows of loose old gaschapon and blind box figures. You pay a bit more most times, but you'd get the one you want. Though sometimes less popular series and older sets were on sale.
If I made a post outlining how to use FromJapan or shopping services in general, would anyone find it useful?
I've used shopping services for over a year now because I'm a resident seagull (use it for j-fash) but I often add toys onto my orders as well. Have had nothing but pleasant experiences with my shopping.
Alright anon ! I'll get working on it. Sorry if its worded a bit weird when I post it, I'm not the greatest on writing out my thoughts but it will definitely give you the information you need
>where did that guy go
>i miss him
>i wanna read more of his posts
>fucking weird crazy russian man
lol thanks. that was me. I still have that guy as my Dino Bro but didn't made any new photos yet.
To me it's fascinating seeing American culture filtered through Japanese culture.
>Animals have become green plastic soldiers. They are dressed in modern military uniforms.
WHERE CAN I BUY THESE FOR NOT $35 EACH???
Why is Japan so good at making things desirable? You only get bouncy balls and sticky hands from the machines in Australia.
These are my favorite gachas so far. They sit here on my desk while my wife slowly brings me more home.
For what its worth, these are more like model kits. The Slugs have many small parts to assemble, way more than normal gasha, and all the soldiers are matte orange for painting.
they're called gundam dash
xbones are in wave 2
they're articulated and half the price of converge, but the details are far softer
pic is standing next to the next gashapons
Oh my god I've seen these. I order gachapon from this place called Candysan. They don't let you pick what you get though. They say it keeps in the spirit of the gachapon, it's all blind pick. But they're only like $1.75 per toy. They had all those accessories for the figures last time I was on there and I was so confused why they had these intricate sets... Never knew there was a figure for them.
I have an entire collection of a box set of Steel Battalion gashapon. I'd be willing to sell them if anyone wants to buy them. They're very finicky and brittle it seems like but they're cool.
There's like 18 of them but some are set duplicates.
no wonder thorg hungry, and want eat
hey its that guy from yokai watch
I love how Americans go ape shit for Gacha when here in the UK and I guess Europe as a whole, official Gachapon machines are on every street corner and no one really cares about them. In the store where I work we have the usual Hello Kitty, Mario, Pokemon and Animal Crossing keychain/phone charm things at current.
I'm guessing the US does not have actual Gacha machines, but those cheap ass knock off ones.
Don't know. I did find this. Katsuhiro Harada said the Arcades are quite extinct in the US and Europe.
I am looking at a Hallmark storr and saw this "Ornament Display Base" for "Keepsake Cupcakes". It is half off and seems like it is perfect for gashapon. Just put a sticker or framed label over the cupcakes logo.
That's so cool.
Of course this one i want is 120$
You can crop the image and then use google image search. That's how I found it was Desk Ninja by epoch.
